Excellent, informative consultation, service and installation.

Gary Hohne is not to be trusted. He will tell you one thing until he has your money and then make you pay more to get the work done as he described it. His demo crew removed my anchors for my pool cover, poured new cement, and did not replace them. When I asked Gary about it back in the Spring he assured me that it would not be a problem and that they would be back to do it at the end of the season. Now it is the end of the season and he wont replace them without paying him an extra $1,400 to do it over and above $50,000+ for the full project to date. He already had me pay him in full and upfront, promising that I could trust him to complete the renovation. Now he is saying it does not matter what he said since the contract fine print does not require anchors to be replaced when they are removed by his crew, so he does not have to do it now.

It was a totally pleasant experience.. I would recommend them to anyone!

Hired Gary of Brighton Pools to renovate our pool because we were having leaks in the pool from the plumbing system. He was supposed to pressure test it and did not. No contract was theoretically sent until the day they started. They took out the spa part but filled it up with debris. It now currently sits as a mosquito pool as it won't drain naturally. I spoke to Gary about how he was going to filter the water out of the bottom as he has taken out the intakes. We are filling it with concrete to make it shallower which is the whole idea behind this project. We were supposed to create a lounge area where the spa was. He sent a crew unannounced on a day that we got back from vacation at 3 am without any notice. They were subcontractors. They spent six hours here and sandblasted the pool. They knocked the small wall out and left. I asked Gary about the bottom returns to the pump in order to filter the water at the bottom. Plus the bottom intakes were leaking at the time. I thought he was supposed to be putting in new piping & intakes since he was making the pool more shallow with concrete anyway and eliminating the bottom suction lines without replacing with new. That is how I had explained it to him before. He then told me it would be extra and my confidence level in him totally dropped. I told him there is no way that an inch and a half line would turn over the recommended amount of two and a half times of water a day by Hayward pumps. Also, I am a licensed home inspector with pool inspection certifications. I am also a retired firefighter with pumps and hydraulics certifications. He never considered any type of friction lost in the existing pipes to stop the existing cavitation that was happening in the pump at the time. He did no hydraulic calculation in trying to correct the problem that we originally had with the water leakage and the suction lines not getting adequate water to the pump for filtration. At this point we decided to terminate the contract based on poor design and we felt like we had inadequate knowledge about water movement. He claims to have done hundreds of pools which means nothing to me as a home inspector because I have seen people do the same wrong thing over and over again without the homeowner's knowledge. He refuses to return the $17,000 deposit saying the contract. He was also demanding payment in full of another $45,000 plus. They have only done 6 hours of work to date. At this point I personally felt I was dealing with a con man based on my professional experience. Still requesting the return of the deposit less six hours worth of work.

Gary was professional, responsive, and patient in answering all the texts and phone calls during this process. Gary was present everyday of work - even on the weekend. There were quite a few employees and company reps that worked on our pool and canâ t say enough about the professional employees Gary has. They were prompt, answered any question we had, and even tolerated our 5 dogs. The pool looks amazing and PVC membrane was the perfect choice for us. It exceeded our expectations. Glad we took Garyâ s advice and replaced the coping. Highly recommend.

Gary worked with me to ensure I was able to stay within my budget. Arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards.

What really impressed me was the spirit that he went with beyond the written contract. I really liked his work. I have recommended him to several people.

The professional came out and did an estimate for us, any problems or questions we ever had were addressed by the professional at all times. Everything the professional puts in, is top of the line. The professional does everything, retaining walls, landscaping, over all the end results were gorgeous. The professional is a nice person, he is considerate and genuine.

They did a very professional job. I am very pleased with the work.
