A great experience. Punctual and a nice person to deal with. Quickly assessed the situation and explained my options. Timely professional installation and no problems since. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: I had the locks changed on my front and back doors. Both were old, of lower quality, and starting to malfunction.

I called Baltimore Lock & Hardware on Tuesday and they had an appointment open on Thursday morning. I left my address and number and spoke with the receptionist about how it can be difficult to find my neighborhood, so encouraged her to let the repairman know he could call me if he needed help navigating. The appointment on Thursday was for 8:30 a.m. Lucas (the repairman) called at around 8:00 and was good at taking directions. When he parked, I took him to the front door where we discussed the issue. Lucas was friendly, polite and communicative. Only the latch needed replacing. The key-side was fine, so no re-keying was required. Lucas was careful to put the new latch in place where the old one was and worked on the latch receptacle to make sure the latch worked fine on door closing. He presented his bill professionally and was happy and professional all the way through the engagement.
Description of Work: Diagnose and replace latch lock on front door.

I was happy with them for the original work and still happy now. They are knowledgable and reliable. I needed advice on what lock to solve a problem: giving clients access to my waiting room but nobody else. They offered info on this and other things and found exactly the right thing and showed up on time as agreed both times. Estimates are fair and accurate. My only concern is that reception (i.e. phone answerer) could use some attitude uplifting.
Description of Work: I had a new security door put in at my office (psychology practice) and needed a special lock re-installed. They had installed it on the original door several years ago.
