Description of Work: Four crawl spaces were cleaned of rubble and debris and treated for mold. They were encapsulated with plastic. The furnace room was cleaned out and treated for mold. Carpet was removed in three rooms and the walls and heavy furniture were treated in three bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The bathroom vanity and drywall were removed and the wall was treated, and the bedroom drywall was removed up to 18 inches and mold was treated.

Description of Work: The work was done neatly and they made an extra effort to get all the jackhammering done in one day. Afterwards they explained how to care for the sump pump and the outside stairwell drain.

I called Accurate Air and was able to set up an appointment within a very reasonable time frame. The service technician came within the time block given and was very professional. After assessing the problem with my furnace he explained the issue and gave me his recommendation for repair along with a couple of less optimal and less expensive of repair. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very patient with my understanding of the issues at hand. In the end I went with his first recommendation. I was so impressed with the technician and felt so comfortable with the integrity of this company that I decided to purchase a service contract w/ them. Accurate Air came out for my Spring service in May and I was as impressed with their service as I was when I first used them. I will continue to use them. They truly are an A+ company!

Description of Work: In the course of selling my parent's home, a home inspector identified possible mold in the basement. I spoke to Pedro on the phone who encouraged me to get air samples taken. After I got the lab results from the air samples, Keith Whitehead reviewed the home, providing observations and recommendations. Later that day, Keith emailed me a proposal for mold remediation.

Description of Work: ATTIC MOLD REMEDIATION: Thirty year old house on heavily wooded lot developed attic mold due to inadequate daily sunlight, insufficient air flow and unnoticed water seepage through aged/deteriorated vent pipe collars. Mold attached to underside of roof sheathing, through batt insulation and through the ceiling wallboard in two adjacent 2nd floor bathrooms. Since we were initially intending to install new roofing shingles, we requested Atlantic Environmental Solutions (AES) to provide estimates for (a) complete remediation (kill the spores, scrub clean the sheathing and joists, seal the affected wood areas, and remove contaminated insulation and wallboard) and (b) remediation excluding the effort to scrub the sheathing; AES's estimates were competitive within the range provided by a total of 4 vendors. We selected the second option, choosing to have our roofer install all new sheathing as a more desirable and slightly more cost-effective option (that is, replacing rather than scrubbing the sheathing).
