Description of Work: I can't recommend this company enough. They came out in a time of need when my basement was flooding. They were able to diagnose the problem and didn't charge me a dime. They were able to tell me exactly what the problem was and where it was coming from.

Description of Work: Armored went over and above to waterproof my basement, then walked me through subsequent issues that had nothing to do with the work they'd performed (Jay came over, at no charge, on a Saturday morning to diagnose a blockage in my main sewer line - thanks to his investigation I was able to get the blockage fixed quickly by the plumber). The team was quick, careful, and conscientious, and even fixed some unrelated piping issues to bring them up to code. I couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: My basement wall (poured concrete) was cracked causing water to leak into the finished area of the basement. Armored Basement Waterproofing injected water proofing material into the crack and covered it with waterproof carbon fiber fabric enmeshed in epoxy. They then covered the wall with water proof vinyl sheeting sealed at the bottom into a drain leading to a sump pump they installed. So if in the unlikely event water in the future somehow found its way past the sealer in the crack and also through the epoxy and carbon fabric, it would drain into the sump rather than entering the basement. With these layers of protection they give a lifetime warranty against water entering the living area. They explained various options, including how to fill and epoxy the crack myself with a repair kit commercially available, but since I was planning to sell I opted for the full treatment for the peace of mind. The crew was very professional and efficient and the results were excellent. Clean-up was thorough and they were finished and out by 1:30. They went the extra mile and installed the vinyl sheeting all the way to the top of the stairs, giving it all a nice finished look. A very satisfactory experience.

Description of Work: Armored basement came to take care of a water that was seeping into my basement from the outside. My basement is a finished basement and they worked very carefully to take care of my furniture and to minimize the amount of dust that would spread throughout. They were very punctual; as a matter of fact, they came ahead of time so that they would beat the upcoming snow storm. (Quite frankly,I thought they were going to cancel because of the weather forecast.) They dug up the concrete and made an opening for any water coming from the outside to run under the basement floor, so that the water would not settle inside the home. They did not give me a guarantee for the work because I was told that they could not guarantee the work that was done before they came. The water returned and Jay came back out. He said that there was still a small area where the water could be coming in. He said that since it was such a small area,he would fix it free of charge. I am believing that this will solve the problem. Overall, I see Armored Waterproofing as a very reliable company. I felt that I could trust them.

Description of Work: For the entire length of the basement removed sump pump, dug trenches, installed two new pumps, installed new drain, replaced almost 80 year old pipes with modern piping. Had to return to properly reconnect washing machine and adjust one of the two new sump pumps. Removed wooden shelving to have full access tothe basement floor but did not replace shelving or remove shelves from the premises as I requested. Otherwis, polite, efficient, timely.

Description of Work: I bought an investment property that ended up needing a full waterproofing in the basement. They came in and took care of the entire job in one day -- the work was done professionally, promptly and effectively. Thanks!

Description of Work: Jay Bengston did a really good job of waterproofing my basement. It ended up becoming more difficult than Jay thought when giving me the estimate, but Jay said that once he gives an estimate, he does not increase the price of the job if it ends up becoming more expensive to finish the job than he had anticipated. He was very professional and very honest. I would definitely give Armored Waterproofing high marks, I even tipped Jay because I was that pleased with the job.
