Description of Work: Ann did a beautiful job with an old chair that now looks new and is a great addition to my bedroom. She had to send out for the caning, but in spite of this she was able to return the chair to me in good time. The cost was more than I had expected, but Ann was willing to reduce her price by $100 when it turned out that the chair I left with her needed caning for the back as well as the seat section.

Description of Work: Ann has re-rushed 4 dining room chairs. I still need to get the last 2 to her; just have delayed because of my own schedule. The work was done promptly and I have been thoroughly pleased with the quality. She practices what is becoming a vanishing art!

+ -1 moreExcellent experience. The chair was finished on time. Ann also modified the frame for the caning to eliminate the friction that wore through the caning in the first place. Ann was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and worth every penny.

+ -1 moreExcellent experience. She knew from my telephone description what I needed done, and gave a quote on the phone for the work. It was done promptly and beautifully. I still have two armchairs that I plan to take to her after the holidays. I would not hesitate to recommend her in the future. Rushing (as is caning) is becoming a vanishing art.
Description of Work: Had two cherry, ladder-back straight chairs re-rushed. This was the second pair that I had taken to be re-done. The first pair had been completed 2 weeks before.

+ -1 moreShe was very pleasant and answered all the questions we had concerning what was to be done. She gave us a price that included the extra work and the caning. When I picked up the chairs, the price was exactly what she had quoted me. We were extremely pleased.
Description of Work: The work performed was complete caning of a child's chair with a few repairs to the wood where holes were placed. A high chair/rocker had to have the whole seat replaced and when she finished it matched the back perfectly. We were extremely pleased.
