They were on time, efficient, professional, & thorough in every step of the process, from the inspection before the contract to show me the existing problems with photos they had taken on my roof, to the explanation of why those problems had led to water damage inside my home, to the explanation of what their roof replacement process consisted of & how (& how long) it was going to be accomplished, to the team of workers they assembled to do the job (being careful not to damage anything around the periphery of the house, as requested), to the attempt to complete the job on one Saturday with 3 days of rain forecast for Monday-Wednesday, to the honesty with a call on Saturday eve that they were not able to finish, and, get this: to the COMPLETION of the job ON A SUNDAY with those rainy days coming & me worrying about having an incomplete roof for that weather (for which all 4 team members who came that day were given a bottle of wine in appreciation)!! They were honest about not knowing how much wood damage I had under the old roof (not as much as they thought, as it turned out), but informed me about that, & how much $ it would be per replacement area if they found damage. Do I know if the price was the best I could get? No, but the head contractor (Doug Cherneski) was someone who had been in charge of the previous replacement of a giant bay window in my living room, a job that was done to perfection, and I trusted that he would do the job correctly & to my satisfaction, so I did not do what I usually do (get 3-4 bids on a project), but hired Ameritage after they offered a substantial discount being that December was a slow month for roofing. Doug did a follow up a couple of days later, & even personally did a repair to a previous blockage of a squirrel entry that had been disturbed with the roof replacement.

During the estimate, they explained in detail the process of the work that would be performed, what we could expect and when, and made suggestions. From the estimate to the completion of the job, all staff members were professional and courteous, they kept areas neat and clean, and the work was completed in time frame presented in the contract. Although there was an area we were not completely satisfied with (we believe was weather related), Ameritage rectified the issue immediately and to our satisfaction. After completion, they removed all of their materials, returned dirt to areas as necessary and seeded those areas. We are very pleased with the final product. Ameritage LLC provides various home improvement services and are also custom home builders. We would use them again for future projects.
