Service manager is extremely rude. They never showed for my appointment within a very larger window of 8-5, never called with a status or ETA. I had to call once at 1:00pm to get an ETA and again at 5:15 after they’re “closed” and no one had shown. Their SM insulted me, called me derogatory names while defaming my character.

Joined their "Comfort Club" subscription, where you pay a monthly fee in exchange for two "tune ups" per year. You also get priority emergency service which I never needed. No priority for the tune ups. For $420/year I can easily have my systems serviced on an as-needed basis by another company. Techs would spend two hours "tuning up" the systems on their visits, identifying a dizzying set of alleged problems on each system, taking a bunch of random photos that are meaningless to a layperson, and never being able to quote a new system because that was a separate division. No free filter changes or anything like that. Last straw was my spring tune-up being cancelled at the tail-end of the appointment window after I had waited around all day. When I rescheduled, the tech took almost 2.5 hours and did not clearly explain what line-items would be required to recharge the refrigerant in my heat pump. On a follow-up call with "Rob" that same day later, he was extremely rude.

TLDR: Amazing's service is Amazing. Amazing's management not so much. Look elsewhere, or at least seek other estimates. Unfortunately I have used Amazing's services for over two years and have not had a satisfactory experience. I originally hired them to install two Mitsubishi ductless units in my Baltimore City home. The installs went fine, Mitsubushis are a fine product. They also (at the prompting of their sales rep) installed a passthrough fan which was not. I called the rep back, who confirmed that yes, it was not performing correctly, but there was nothing to do about it. I'd accept that if if was not an additional $1800 charge. I accept that I authorized this work but the sales rep should have had a better idea if this fan would work, and when it didn't, have a better suggestion than "well, just put up light blocking drapes" which was marginally better but not worth an almost 2k add-on to my services, and an additional cost because it was installed incorrectly and I had to have another electrician inspect and fix the wiring. This year, I was up for my annual re-inspection of my AC system. Amazing's technician was prompt, courteous, and the representative arrived on time. I informed him that my compressor had been disconnected over the winter, and that it should be checked for pressure, etc. which he took note of and went to work. He was in my house for a good 2 hours or so...and when he finished he said all was in order. I asked him again about the compressor, and he confirmed all was OK. A few weeks later, I noticed that the AC was having issues running and requested that it be checked out. Again, the customer service team made scheduling easy and convenient. A second technician arrived, inspected the system and told me that the system should not be running at all--that running the system would, in fact cause permanent damage to the compressor. He added that there were both issues with the compressor and the interior unit. I asked them if this was something that the first inspector should have noted, and they said that they had no access to the first inspector's report, so they couldn't say. He provided me with an estimate and I agreed to go ahead with repairs. I scheduled a third appointment, and once more the service was fine. The agent came and did the work. It was clear that this was not just a minor repair--they were working all day (you would think that something that major would have been caught the first time) and completed the job successfully. I told them I did not want to pay until I had spoken to someone higher up about this situation, and asked if I'd be invoiced, which they confirmed. Over the weekend I found that Amazing had gone ahead and run the charge without my authorization. I had signed up for their annual maintenance plan, but didn't expect them to use my credit card freely. I don't blame the tech for this, how would he know about billing? But it an unpleasant surprise. Amazing's service people are just that. Amazing. They are good at their jobs, and my experience was satisfactory. The problem is in management and sales: my experience with them has been at best passable and at worst very frustrating. Ask for very specific notes, info and follow-through, and be sure to get estimates from other folks. Would not recommend after this experience.

They started the work, and have not completed the service, they did not do everything that was stated on the contract. I contacted them several times, and they kept on saying that they are going do something about it or give a credit for the incomplete job. I haven't heard from them since and they are not returning my calls.

Horrible never experience such an unorganized company with staff full of SCAMS for you to spend more money. My elderly God Mom has finally got heat and hot water in which they wasn't even hired to replace the old one was fine, I wouldn't reccomend them to my enemy.

Workers were incredibly friendly and respectful of space during covid times. Were in and out fast and was incredibly cheap considering how badly my grandmother's tuneup was needed.

individual came on Thursday to assess and provide quote to install furnace and air. Told would have quote by Saturday. Never received nor heard from. To me, if I can't trust to do one simple thing, how can I trust the work.

They came out and did an A/C tune up. Good service, good price. Friendly tech.

I called amazing air and asked for the technician to come out and fix a leak in my coil. The CSR said it would cost $99 to come out and look at the system and they don't have pricing. I told her that I already had one HVAC technician look at the system and he told me that you would need a charge the system with nitrogen to find the leak. The tech came out and was going to charge $693 just to charge the system with nitrogen then told me that he might be able to fix leaks on the ends, but nit in the middle of the coil. 7 liters of R22 would cost $736. I was told the nitrogen cost was ridiculous price and had they told me initially the cost, I would not have had them over. I strongly recommend that you call another company, one that does not charge you up front and cant give you any initial baseline pricing.

The service was excellent. They were on time and professional.

Everhytnhing was done to my satisfaction, on my timetable, with minimal inconvenience to me. I have relied on Am axing for 12 years now, with complete satisfaction. I don't even b other calling anyone else.

In 2016, they came diagnosed my AC as leaking Freon and repaired at the cost of $2700. The next year 2017, the Freon leaked and AC stopped working again. They want to charge me for repair but I reminded them the repair was just done last year. So The AC was repaired and I was not charged. This year 2018, the Freon leaked again and AC stopped working. They said the repair is out of warranty and I have to pay to have it repaired. I didn't and turned to someone else. I called the owner and left two messages but my call was never returned. I'm deeply disappointed at their shoddy work and lack of professionalism. In my opinion, they just want to make money and doesn't care about their customer. Please avoid this contractor and use others.

They charge 3 times more than other companies. They are taking advantage of the consumer. They never told me their policy for the weekend. The weekend is considered an emergency service call. I was charged $99.00 just for them showing up. I did not hire them to do the work. They quoted a price of $421.00 in addition to the $99.00. I called around to other companies that will only charge $129.00 to do the same charge. A flame sensor needs to be replaced. The part that needs to be replaced is $11.66.

Andre came right on the scheduled time, assessed the problem, and made the repairs. The parts (a motor and another part that I don't remember) were in the truck, so the unit was fixed within an hour or two. So far, everything is working fine. Andre did tell me about the advantage of the membership program, but he didn't hard sell it when I told him I am putting the house on the market in the spring. He did tell me about the certification that Amazing can give me in the spring that I can provide to potential buyers. I appreciated hearing about that and will follow-up, not only with that, but with some maintenance later in the fall. I am very happy with the service, the professionalism, and the general responsiveness.

We found Amazing HVAC through Angie's List and had a great experience. We had two aging/leaking units that needed replacing. Our comfort specialist, Greg, was super involved with the entire process and ensured the installation went smoothly. The install crew were extremely nice and professional and worked into the evening to make sure the units were functioning properly. As a side note, the work was originally supposed to have been done over two days, but they were able to squeeze it in one day. Since this affected my wife's company, they are throwing in a complementary humidifier for the inconvenience! The units were installed six months ago and have run smoothly ever since. Couldn't recommend Amazing Heating & Air Conditioning enough.

An agent came out several weeks ago, but has not returned calls or messages to deliver an estimate for our job, unfortunately. I cannot vouch for the reliability of this company.

It went great. Two guys that came, went above and beyond what they needed to. They were wonderful.

200 dollars for a 5 dollar part, but I get it. They did a good job.

I talked with Mark and he told me that relocating the existing condenser would be about 2/3 of the cost of just getting an entirely new HVAC system due to the fact that the coolant in the old condenser was now very expensive and difficult to handle in an environmentally friendly way. I was not anticipating that cost for just moving the condenser, but since the HVAC system was very old, I saw the benefit in replacing the whole system. I was able to get a 0% interest line of credit through Amazing to finance the new system. We had to install the system in three phases due to the other construction that I had going on, and Amazing was...amazing! Mark always responded to my text messages promptly, and we were able to schedule appointments with 48 hours of my request. They were always very professional and courteous to me and helped the rest of my home improvements move right along. I put N/A for my cost review since I didn't get quotes from other HVAC contractors.

They did a wonderful job. They were only charged for the work not by the hour. The follow up was exceptional. .

Gregory did my estimate and he was extremely thorough. I had a total of 5 estimates he was the only 1 to take pictures of everything. So that way installers know exactly what to expect. They were the only company to include a wet switch under furnace for safe shut off during flood. He was also very professional, very friendly, and obviously very knowledgable. Except they are a bit more pricey than most other estimates, but if you have the money to spare and value a company being very thorough (going the extra mile), then it is woryh it and I HIGHLY recommend you give them a call.
