Very happy with this company. Same day service...technician Pat was very friendly, courteous, diagnosed the problem quickly. Got new part, installed it and was on his way. He showed me the old part and explain what the problem was. Overall just a great company that does a great job.

I've used them before, and they are always good.

Everything went well. There was an issue in which they could not finish in 1 day but they supplied portable air conditioners so we were comfortable. They were able to secure the part on a Saturday and finished the work on Saturday (sending over their head technician to complete the job). I would highly recommend this company.

I reached out to Amazing Air after an annoying experience with another HVAC company that frankly seemed disinterested in figuring out what was wrong and just wanted me to drop 5K on an entirely new unit which I did not want to do at this time. I am glad I found Amazing, I was given a window of 12-3PM, with appointments available the day after I called. The technician Jeremy showed up at 12:02 - which was great! with that other company I was quoted 12-6 and the guy came at 8PM so I was definitely pleased with their punctuality. Jeremy had another technician with him, they went to the unit, investigated and then explained to me what they had found. Jeremy even called my dad and explained it to him for me! They replaced the capacitor and then checked the other levels and equipment to make sure there were no other issues. I am enjoying my cold air and would recommend this company and this technician to anyone that is having an AC problem and doesn't feel like dealing with the big companies just trying to sell you a new unit instead of fixing what you have. If I do decide to get a new unit, I would definitely consider this company.

Received a consultation and proposal for a new high efficiency Trane HVAC system. Although we did not select Amazing Heating & Air Conditioning to perform the work, I wanted to share our experience. The company demonstrates excellent communication, punctuality and very competitive pricing. We met Don at the Maryland Home & Garden show. He came to our home and performed a complete review of our existing system and advised us of the best system to meet our needs and budget. Don is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Amazing Air is an excellent company and supplied a very competitive bid. Don responded very quickly to any and all questions we had during and after the initial consultation. He went to extra effort to make sure we were comfortable and well informed. We received estimates from several HVAC contractors and made the very tough decision. Even though we did not choose Amazing Air to perform the work, this company is *definitely* one to select for the job. Amazing Air is a top notch company with excellent customer service. Their ratings on Angie's List are a true demonstration of their abilities and you won't be disappointed.

I first called Amazing Heating & Air this past spring/early summer as my air conditioning was not cooling my 3 story rowhouse. They repaired the unit and I became a member of their comfort care program as I knew with my unit being over 25 years old it was only a matter of time before I could not get any more lives or summers/winters out of it. They scheduled and came out and did the preventative maintenance on the unit in the late fall just as arranged. I have worked with several of their employees and they have all been very professional as well as courteous to wear slippers as to not track dirt throughout my house. The bearings and fan within my heat finally decided to quit on me on December 29 in the late evening. I called as a member of the comfort care program and was called back within a half an hour of me calling and because the weather was mild; agreed upon a 7am technician the next morning. They arrived promptly as scheduled and gave me an estimate on repairing the broken parts. I decided at that time to replace the whole unit and Jeremy, the technician was very helpful in informing me of all of my options. They then sent out a specialist to go through all of my options on the new units. Mike, the Trane specialist, was very helpful and even gave me some plug in heaters to help keep my house warm until they could replace the unit on Friday, Jan 2nd. The owner and the sales rep then came to review my house to explain to me the detailed plan as we needed to run some new wires and we were going to re-locate the compressor. They were so professional throughout the entire process. They showed up Friday promptly, and were done the project that day. They laid drop cloths and cleaned up thoroughly. They were even able to save me money from renting a crane as I originally thought I may have to do, and which is what another company had suggested (over the summer). I cannot say enough about how they were so helpful, professional, prompt and went above and beyond. Spending that kind of money I am glad it went to a company that really were honest with me and went above and beyond during the holiday season.

My furnace was suddenly not working, and the technician, Mike, traced the problem back to a breaker. I declined to have him replace the breaker since I have a neighbor who is an electrician. He did recommend I have someone come out to evaluate the duct work. Since this is something I had considered doing, I will schedule an appointment with his company to possibly replace the ducts. Thank you for an amazing technician! He explained the problem, and offered to fix it. The price was fair, and I was able to understand the problem.

Everything went great. They showed up on time. They fixed everything (or put us on the path of being fixed). They were great explainers of what was happening and why. Again, I would highly recommend Amazing because they were amazing.

Jeremy was knowledable and replaced the condenser. Jeremy was helpful and answered all my questions. I will used Amazing Heating & A/C again.

The first time they came out and checked it but it was too cold to do a complete check so they had to come back when it was warmer to check it again.

Their Salesman was early to our appointment, which was good. He promptly put on the plastic booties to keep boot crud off of my floors (also good). After he looked at the boiler, tank and surrounding piping he consulted his ipad and gave a detailed estimate. He took the time to explain each item and how any changes would affect the total cost. After taking several estimates I called amazing to do the work and they sent their chief engineer and owner to do a final survey. I scheduled a date and their workmen were ringing my bell at the exact time scheduled (0730). It took longer that they expected to remove the old tank and had to return the next day to complete the install. They even ran new thermostat wire since my old 1930s era wiring didn't support the modern equipment they installed. When the work was finished I authorized the final 2/3 of the payment (having paid 1/3 in the beginning) The amount was as quoted, even though they experienced unexpected difficulties. This is fantastic! I have an old Baltimore dutch colonial style home built in 1928. I constantly have issues with contractors saying they have experience with old homes and then wanting to jack up the price when they encounter some thing they didn't expect. If you're as experienced as you say add it to the estimate! I'm a grown up I can understand contingency costs! Amazing proved that they were every bit as experienced as they claim and I will now use them for all of my HVAC needs in the future. These are the good guys.

I could not get the pilot lit on my old gas furnace so contacted Amazing Heating and Air Conditioning Inc.They said the cost of the visit was $99.00 but if I decided to go with the recommended service that fee would be waived, so may bill would be for part and labor. The tech, Mike W. wend to the furnace and in about 4 minutes lit the pilot. He explained that there a a button I had to press down to light it. That's what was wrong. He didn't have anything to light the pilot with - I have to supply him with my Zippo grill lighter. While he lit the pilot (taking about 3 minutes) he stated that "it lit right up" No need to replace the thermal coupling. He stood up and stated: "I going to have to charge you" I was expecting to pay the $99 fee; he used no parts and took a few minutes to light. He.went to his truck and was gone for 15 minutes. He back and told me I owed him $182.00. When I asked him what that fee was for, he stated that's what "the book" said he had to charge me. He said that is WITH the waiving of the $99.00 visit fee. He would not discount that ridiculous charge. Wrote him the check and showed him the door - This "Mike W" overcharged be before when he was with another plumbing service a few years back. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Called at 530 am and booked a window of 8 to 11 on the same day. The repair man showed at 10 and was finished before 11. Quick and friendly. $99 diagnostic fee was credited towards the repair but $300 for a simple repair was on the high side in my experience.

Was very thorough with their assessment.

We had them out to check out our heater after it was making a funny noise and giving off an electrical burning smell. They were able to come the next morning, diagnose the issue and fix it on the spot. Super friendly, convenient and extremely happy with the service. Very prompt- showed up on time which I greatly appreciated since our heater was off and it's winter. I would definitely call them again.

Andrew came out and gave me several options on how to make the circulation better in my house. They worked for about one whole day and they were finished! They cleaned up as if I never knew they were there! Very professional! Now the circulation works perfectly! I have also used this company for emergency service and aslo for general sevice to my HVAC. I highly recommend using Amazing HVAC!

We called amazing heating last night when the temperature was less than 10 degrees and our furnace stopped working. We specifically called them because they listed on angie's list that they were available 24/7 and had emergency services available. We called and explained our situation and they told us we would be hearing from a technician shortly. That was at 8:30 pm at night. They did not call us until the following morning at 9 am. When we asked how a 12 hour delay from our phone call to their finally calling us back constituted emergency service, they explained to us that they don't actually provide 24 hour service unless you are a member of their comfort care club. I can't comment on their actual work but I can say that they are false advertising on angie's list when they say they provide emergency after hours service. If you are in a true heating emergency this is not the company to call.

previous day to take best steps to prevent burst pipes. Andrew, the owner, came out several days later. Bottom line: these folks appear to be ethical and seem to know what they are doing. They did not gouge me or try to sell repairs I may not have needed. As a woman, I have had too many experiences of service people who have attempted to charge me far more than I knew I should be charged. Hire these folks! They are terrific. They explain. They seem to charge reasonably, even in an emergency.

Update - Andrew came out to look at our heating issue in greater detail with one of his guys and they were very responsive and looked into our system and the issues in greater detail. We are trying a solution with the heating valves and will be keeping in contact with them to see how it is working. We appreciate them coming back out very much!!!!!

My AC compressor worked only sporadically, so I called Amazing HVAC to see if they could diagnose the problem. The tech showed up on time, spent exactly two minutes tinkering around, then handed me a bill for $99, saying that was for the diagnostic. He then told me that the capacitor needed to be replaced. The bill included an estimate of $341 to fix the problem. I paid the $99, removed the capacitor myself, went to the neighborhood hardware store and bought a $10 replacement, then returned home and installed it myself. And of course, this wasn't the problem at all. So of course, I wouldn't trust Amazing HVAC to do any work at my home or business again. They're ripoff artists at best!

On 11/13/13 I heard a loud noise and smelled what I believed to be burning rubber. Amazing HVAC was the second company I called. They informed me of the diagnosis cost based on an off hour emergency and that if I was ok with that a technician would be there within 30 minutes. Dave arrived went right to work and diagnosed the problem. He provided 3 preliminary cost scenarios for the product and service we needed. Scenario 1 - the product is under Warranty, Scenario 2 - the cost if the product is out of warranty and Scenario 3 - the cost with a service agreement. Dave was confident that he could get an answer and price the next day for each scenario because our motor was not one that he carried on his truck. He was certain that the product was in stock at his supplier and would contact us in the morning. At that time we would decide whether to use Amazing and get a time when the repair could be scheduled. The next day (as promised) we received a call from the office telling us the work could be done and the cost for two of the scenarios because the motor was way out of warranty. We agreed to have Amazing HVAC do the work. The next call from their office was that Dave was on the way to get the motor and would be right over. 30 minutes later Dave arrived. About 50 minutes later we had heat and Dave was checking out the system. Dave even took the time to answer additional questions concerning our HVAC system. If Daves work ethic and professionalism is the template for this company I highly recommend them.

Andrew and Co. were really easy and good to deal with. Andrew (owner) came to the house on multiple occasions to ensure proper quoting and day of the job to make sure all employees were informed of the details of the job. Amazing lived up to their name and we will certainly use them again.

The compressor pump and a small leak, called company and they immediately returned to correct problem. They even called back to see if I was satisfied with service. The service was completed on July 31, 2013, I waited until September to see if any problems arose, none have. I have seen a difference in my electric bill.

Very professional, answered all of my questions. Didn't like the interest rate for the loans, or else we would have gone with them.
