They are very professional, quick, very careful and we've used them several times.

The sales rep was very pleasant but didn't have any control over Atlas, who he was only a rep for. The rules were very rigid and inflexible, nothing could be determined in advance, the driver would have complete control of the final price and the rep refused to give me their listed Angie's List discount, saying that he had given me all the discounts, when in fact he had given me no discount whatsoever. I choose a different Angie's List mover and was very pleased with their service.

Company did an amazing job. Extremely professional from the estimate, to the office staff, to the actual movers. They actually helped us pack boxes, since we weren't completely ready to go.

Move was excellent. Nothing damaged. The estimator was excellent. She explained everything at the time estimate was given. They were less expensive than anyone else. Move cost less than we thought it would be. Movers were excellent. Since I walk with cane, they even helped unload our cars. Highly recommend them. I told them if we move again, they will be the only ones we call. They were worth every penny.

They were wonderful. We could not have asked for a better experience. They treated all of our belongings like they were their own.

Contact issues from the initial message. I had to reach out to the website to actually get a response from these folk which was full of apologies that Angie's List didn't contact them. Then scheduling became an issue. In the interest of fairness, maybe I was not as clear posing my questions as I should have been, but I am not the professional packer/mover. IMO a provider should be able to bridge that gap and open the question dialog to get the information they need right off the top. I almost ran out of time. We are converting a SFD into two apartments and need the first floor emptied for our renters. Let me be clear -- I do not make any assertions on the quality of work this vendor can provide, my complaint is centered in the communication and front end interaction. Went back to the list and found another provider that fit my needs into their schedule -- not the other way around.

The work was excellent, they came in with the best estimate, they didn't charge me extra for the two days of storage. They were on time, everything was inventoried, there was nothing missing and nothing broken, it was very impressive.

I have moved four times in my adult life and I have used Advance Relocation Systems for every move. The crews are fantastic and management always follows up after the move to make sure things went smoothly. This move involved a large box truck full of furniture and other very large items from my parent's house. They had moved two weeks earlier to a retirement community, and also used Advance Relocation Systems. Everything went great and actually took much less time than estimated. This move also required a last minute rescheduling at my request due to a snowstorm. The company was very accommodating and manged to do the move one week later.

I was disappointed in the condition of the boxes. I did not expect brand new ones, but these were falling apart. We ended up using only a few of the boxes and bought others that were also used but in much better condition. It's been almost three (3) years ago, so I do not remember the quote he gave. I just didn't want him to go the job based on the condition of the boxes.

I had contacted four moving companies to receive estimates for my move from Bethesda MD to Milford CT. I had to call two companies to request the estimate, and one was completely inflexible. Beginning with the initial conversation with Sandy at Advance, including her in-depth visit to establish an estimate, to the pickup and destination delivery, including follow-up chats with Linda and Melanie, and Terri's helpful and patient, directing calls or answering a quick question, this was clearly the best move I've ever experienced -- and I've moved 20 times! (I actually counted and was amazed at the number.) Tom and his crew, Chris and Tony, who provided both pick-up and delivery, were clearly the best moving team with whom I've ever worked. They were professional, cheerful, and extremely willing and able to do anything to make the move quick and easy. Tom stayed in touch with me between pickup and delivery to keep me posted on the expected delivery date, which was three days following pickup. I was quite impressed with how fast they loaded and delivered everything, especially considering the distance from the apartment to the freight elevator in Bethesda, as well as the stairs in CT! I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use ARS again and highly recommend them without a single reservation.

They came a month ago. My wife arranged everything. They fixed a bed that was broken. The took our sofa apart to take it downstairs. They gave extra service than they needed to. It was a good deal and it was good value.

If I ever have to move again I will most definitely give this company a call. Price was very reasonable and the guys who moved my items were extremely nice and professional. I also had the company give my parents an estimate as they were moving out of MD to DE and my parents were so impressed they too used this company.

Very careful and thorough. Driver and crew worked with us during the move to make sure things were done properly. We had some furniture that was not moving and they kept it separate except for one piece. As with any mover, you need to be there while they are packing. No major damage. Just a few minor things such as some glassware. We were satisfied overall.

Rocky was great. The price was fair. The movers handled my possessions with great care. The only negative was the window of delivery. It took 10 days for my furnishings to travel 600 miles. Maybe I wasn't listening close enough when I got the estimate. Had I known that it possibly would take that long I would have postponed the move until a later date. As it was I had to find places to stay for a week while my furniture wound its way circuitous route to Alpharetta, GA. There was nothing in the contract or estimate documentation that stated it could take 10 days. Just be sure to get a firm window for delivery for a long distance move.

The estimator, Sandy Lee, was on time, knowledgeable and answered all of my numerous questions. After much research with other companies, I selected this company. The movers on my end and on my daughter's were on time, extremely efficient, and neat, extremely caring. All that meant so much to both of us, as we both loved my mother's favorite things.

The service was great and better than expected. We highly recommend this company.

I purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List for boxes from this company. The main reason I purchased this specific deal was because they offered to include wardrobe boxes and mirror boxes in the mix. I needed quite a few of those and I know they are usually more expensive than the regular boxes. When I called to actually order the boxes I gave the gentleman I was referred to, Rocky, the number of each type of box I wanted. He wanted to come by to give me an estimate for my move and said he would bring my boxes. On the day of our appointment I was running late and arrived back home 20 minutes late. Rocky was waiting patiently out front for me. I apologized profusely for my tardiness. I hate it when people are late. I helped him bring in the boxes and realized I didn't see any wardrobe boxes. He told me they were too big to fit in his car so he substituted regular boxes instead. I was really upset about this. I consider it a bait and switch tactic. It's not such a Big Deal if I get reused medium sized boxes rather than the wardrobe boxes I wanted. We both got a bit testy over this issue. He said normally there is a $25 fee for box delivery - something that was not mentioned on the phone - and he was doing this as a favor. Of course he was doing it so he could provide an estimate for moving services. I did have him walk through the house to give me an estimate for the move. It was the highest of the three estimates I received. Rocky asked me when I would be making a decision on a mover and I told him the following week. Naturally I assumed he, or someone from the company, would follow up with me to see if I would be using their services. Nothing. Based on my experience with the "box situation" and the lack of follow up I didn't feeI I could rely on the company to stick to their estimate or to be professional in providing moving services. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about your mover. I selected another mover that has been highly rated on Angie's List and who's truck I see often in my neighborhood.

It's the second time I worked with ARS and this crew leader. First, they were on time exactly -- even though it was raining. That is so rare with movers. They take extreme care with all your things. The unpacking was a little rushed because it was a much longer carry than anyone realized and they were running tight on time, but they left all the apartments in great condition, were very helpful, polite and friendly, and did what they could to keep my price down. If you use them, I recommend Bryan Malone. He treats your stuff like it's his own. Not one thing even got chipped!
