Accutest Lead Inspections

Everything went smoothly. The inspector had me execute remedial lead removal on a few fireplace face bricks that tested positive. I did that and was issued a Lead Free certificate, filed with MD Dept. of the Environment.

Dave was super quick to call me back and was extremely generous with his time. My wife, daughter, and I live in a house built in 1902, so naturally I had some concerns about lead paint. Dave shared his expertise freely and provided some great advice on how to deal with the potential for lead paint hazards in my home. If I ever have a need for Dave's lead inspection services in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him.

David arrived on time and got right to work. Made some observations and suggestions. Gave me an approximate date for recieving the report, and it arrived before that date. I will use him again.

Agreed with the other reviews. David did a great job. More important was that he told me that he was performing an inspection that must be re-done every year, and that I could contact another firm to do a lead-free certification which is done once and good forever.

After a brief conversation over email, I learned that the lead tests that Accutest performs would probably not be the best fit for my specific needs (due to the building age/type etc), but several other vendors that provide those other tests were provided. Very honest and professional assessment, and much appreciated!

David was extremely knowledgable and professional. He was punctual and explained the testing process prior to the visit and during the on-site testing. He returned the results and certificate in a timely manner. I will definitely call upon him again in the future.

I called Accutest because I needed lead inspection on my 1963 rental property, as determined by the new state regulation. I had a productive conversation with David in which he asked me about the building materials and the condition of the home. In turn, he answered all my questions regarding lead testing, including the types of tests, preparation before a test, the process to providing the report to the State. In the end he believes that my house is lead free and recommended that I contact LeadTec to perform a test that he could not perform. His recommendation turned out to be appropriate and correct. I really appreciated David's honesty and work ethics, as he could have performed his tests so he could make the money. I'm sorry that I did not get to work any more with him but I certainly recommend him!

They are very professional, and very knowledgeable. The guy was a big help. I called him to set up an appointment, and he told me what to expect, and what to do to prepare for the test, and that was a big help for me. Everything was excellent.

I would give him very high marks, he did a good job. He was very nice, courteous, and he identified the problem that we had, and we could fix it. It would have cost us more, if hehadn't identified it. He identified that there was lead issue in the paint.

I INITIALLY CALLED THE OWNER TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN GIVING INFORMATION AS TO HOW TO PREPARE FOR A LEAD INSPECTION. HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. HE ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS VERY PERSONABLE DURING THE INSPECTION AND EXPLAINED ALL THE STEPS AS HE WENT FROM ROOM TO ROOM COLLECTING DATA FOR THE LAB. HE CALLED ME WITH THE RESULTS AS HE SAID HE WOULD SO I WOULDN'T WORRY. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN SINCE THE HOUSE IS A RENTAL AND THESE INSPECTIONS NEED TO BE DONE WITH EACH CHANGE OF TENANT.

David is a great guy that runs an honest and reliable business. He's a no nonsense professional that will get in, get the job done and leave the property in the same shape and order he found it in. He's punctual and friendly to work with. He charges the industry standard and won't rip you off. Best of all, he wants you to pass the inspection and will do whatever it takes, within the framwork of what is legal and legitimate, to give you tips and advise to improve the odds of a favorable outcome while also making sure your property is safe and sound for yourself or your tenants. During my first phone call Dave took the time to explain the process and to make sure I had the property ready for inspection. He explained the process and pricing. He further explained how to obtain my tracking number from MDE. He arrived on time and again explained everything he was going to do. He was very patient in answering my questions. He took about 30 minutes to complete his inspection. He called me three business days later with the results and mailed them the same day.

I called David to set up an appointment for an inspection of our condo and he could not have been more helpful!
