A-1 Awning Discounters

I have several issues with the installation. 1) The awning is sloped from left to right. 2) There is a screw installed at an angle into the wall that appears to be coming out and I worry water is getting behind and into house wall. 3) The aluminum is bent. Over the past couple months, I have called dozens of times using both of their numbers (A-1 Awning Discounters and Sparkee Awnings) and sent dozens of e-mails with pictures and they won't answer the phone or my e-mails. I have given them ample warnings by e-mail and voicemail that I would report them online and on BBB and they still won't return my call or e-mail. I just want them to fix or discuss the installation and provide guidance. There is no communication at all.

No complaints. Awning still looks great 2 years later and their prices couldn't be beat.

They did a pretty good job.

Excellent service, work, and product. Contractor taking measurements was punctual and knowledgeable, answering all questions. Cost estimate was prompt, as was manufacture and installation after signing the contract.

The quote was good and the process was fine. It's just too much money for me to do that right now. The quote was free of cost. I haven't decided as yet if I'm going to use them in the future or not.

A1 Awning gave me a very reasonable price, very quick service and a great product. I needed the awning by a certain date and it unfrotunately rained on the install date. I called and spoke to the receptionist and explained my situation and she brought out their workers the following day on their day off on a Saturday. They came early, didn't disturb me and went above and beyond what was expected. I called back and personally thanked them for their excellent customer service and persistent efforts to help me.

I WAS VERY PLEASED FROM START TO FINISH.FOUR MEN AND TWO TRUCKS LATER MY AWNING WAS UP IN LESS THAN TWO HOURS .THE MEN WORKED WELL TOGETHER AND WERE FRIENDLY.FORGET THE MIDDLE MAN AND HAVE THIS COMPANY DO THE WORK.I WAS GIVEN A TOUR OF THE WAREHOUSE AND SAMPLES OF THE COLORS.I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE ABOUT 4-5 MONTHS BEFORE I WOULD GET MY AWNING BUT AFTER PAYING MY BILL IN FULL I HAD MY AWNING IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS.I AM VERY HAPPY.

I'm selling an older row home and needed to replace a broken railing on the steps, as well as two awning columns on the back porch. The originals of all were iron, and rusted. I contacted a "wrought iron" company who said it would be $1400 to replace these parts with custom pieces. On a whim I called A-1, even though I didn't need actual awnings, and found that they could do both the awning columns and the railing, although they don't usually do railings. They were able to come for an estimate within a day, and completed the job within 10 days, just as the house went on the market. Now I don't have to worry about potential buyers falling on the steps! The columns and railing look very nice, and not too visually different from the original iron ones. I was worried they'd have problems setting the columns in particular in the brick porch, but they got them in and I'm very happy. And it cost a lot less than the custom iron work would have.
