+ -1 moreI called 1st Choice Plumbing and received excellent attention from the moment I made contact. Pinchas looked at photos I sent prior to coming to my house. He was punctual (even called in advance of his arrival), immediately identified the problems, fixed them and clearly explained things to me. He was prompt, professional, neat, competent and I would recommend him without reservation. Pinchas is a licensed Master Plumber - (many other contractors do not hold this skill level).
Description of Work: I had a leak under my kitchen sink, as well as a strange sound with the bathroom plumbing.

Description of Work: This company installed and tested a hydraulically powered sump pump that would operate despite a power outage. During Hurricane Sandy we were flooded because we lost power and the sump pump couldn't remove water. The flooding in turn wiped out our furnace fan and we also lost heat. Mr. Urszuy suggested the automatic non-electric pump and we haven't regretted it. It is a lot less expensive than an automatic gas powered generator ($7,000) and because it is automatic we don't have to be home. The only thing that will cause the hydraulic powered sump pump to fail is an earthquake that breaks water pipes, or old infrastructure problems. In addition to good advice and service on the sump pump 1st Choice has been our plumber for a number of years, and they installed a garbage disposal unit which we are happy with, and have dealt with our mundane problems as well.
