SHAMROCK CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

This is our second time using Shamrock Carpet. Tim was punctual on both occassions. He walks through before the job and addresses any concerns you may have. He is very polite and professional. He did not try to sell me extra services that I did not need. He even included an extra carpet refresher in the baby's room for us as we are expecting soon. Our upstairs carpet is a light beige which is not forgiving to traffic. After he finished they looked as if they were just installed. Our downstairs is a heavy traffic area which also looked as good as new. Overall, Tim was in and out with a job well done in no time at all. I would definitely recommend his service.

The person who cleaned the carpets was prompt and very professional. My carpets hadn't been cleaned in almost 3 years and he did a wonderful job.

When I called Tim McKnight, he answered the phone and immediately quoted me a price for cleaning our lazyboy sofa and loveseat. As fate would have it, he had a cancellation that day and asked if that would work for us....and that actually worked better for us. Since the sofas were a dark color, he returned about a week later to touch up the few areas that were missed in the original cleaning, and stood behind his 30 day satisfaction guarantee! I felt that he gave me an extremely fair price and did wonderful job!! I have already recommend him to others and plan to use him again when the sofas need cleaning in one to two years!

We were having big trouble with sewage backup in our basement that was seeping into the wall-to-wall carpeting in the guestroom and hall. First Tim gave me some suggestions on how to deal with this situation until the source of the problem was resolved, and then once resolved (another story altogether--it took days dealing with plumbers and the city before it was resolved), Tim came the next day to begin the process of rescuing the wall-to-wall carpet. He spent about 2.5 hours removing the drenched padding and cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing the carpet. He took away the bad padding. Tim left with two large fans blowing air under the carpeting to dry it out. It was interesting watching the carpeting billowing in waves from the fans! He returned in three days and spent another 3 hours installing new padding, re-cleaning, deodorizing, sanitizing and re-installing the carpet. His service was exceptional--he was considerate of his surroundings, scheduled appointments immediately, worked diligently (and alone), and did a great job. The basement looks (and smells) good as new! Thank you Tim--this was a very distressful episode for my husband and me but with your help it ended well.

I bought a house and had planned to remove the W-W carpet and put down area rugs on the hardwood floor. However, I started to remove it in the the smallest bedroom and discovered the floor underneath was less than desirable. This was a few days before I was supposed to move! I called my Realtor in a panic and she recommended Tim and Shamrock. He was able to fit me in and came over and did a great job. He paid special attention to some spots from the previous owners. And went over everything thoroughly. I was so very pleased with the results and would definitely use him again.

Tim did outstanding work. We were having some problems with our sick dog holding her bladder and Tim was able to come to the house within a few days to clean the carpets so that there were no lingering smells to attract the dog to her old "accident" spots. He was on time and worked diligently the entire time. He even was able to clean an additional area at the last minute that we had not discussed on the phone . I found out about Tim and his business from a friend and used him once before. I am very happy to see his business listed on Angie's list and that he is receiving the recognition he deserves.

They were fantastic. Tim was able to do a great job with a very difficult situation. He paid great deal of attention and I felt as if it was easy to work with him. The prices were reasonable as well. I?ve never had such a great experience with a company.

He was early for his appointment did an excellent job and didn't come up with unexpected hidden charges. He charged less than the price he quoted. I highly recommend this company!

Tim showed up in the time frame expected, did a review of all areas to be cleaned, thoroughly vacuumed and then cleaned the carpets. He moved furniture and put styrofoam blocks under all sofas and furniture too big to be moved. Every spot was gone when he finished. He did a great job and I was very pleased, particularly after my price discount from using the coupon from Shamrock's website. I would use this company again and will recommend them to family and friends.

I scheduled the work to be done about a week beforehand. Tim was very responsive to the scheduling, and he appeared promptly as scheduled. This was a lot of work, and Tim was finished in about 2.5 hours. He also cleaned two large scatter rugs by two doors at no charge. He is very professional and easy to work with. Tim is also very polite, and I recommend him highly if you want someone who is thorough and also very reasonable in his charges.

We've used his service twice. He has very reasonable prices. Just before company was coming to town, our puppy made a mess on our carpet, and he came over last minute to come and take care of the spot. We appreciated how accommodating his is to our needs. He's a pleasant person and nice to work with. We have very old carpet, and he has done his best to make our carpet look its best.

I have now used Shamrock several times in the last few years. Tim's quality of work, personal effort, and competitive priceing is superior to several others that we've used in the past. The one thing that I particularly like about his method is that the carpets are barely damp and completely dry in no longer than a few hours, as opposed to some other recommended companies that use the full wet hose method which leave a medium to thick carpet wet for much longer.

Another great experience. We had a few weeks to wait, but he called before he arrived at exactly the time he suggested, wore shoe covers as he worked and left another pair for me. The carpets dried within a few hours so I could reposition things I had moved and remove plastic he had placed under furniture. The stains were well removed (he said if they reappear, he will come back within 30 days) .

I moved back in to my home (with my three children--and no furniture!) after renting it out to tenants for a year. The tenants left my finished basement carpet a mess. The smell was horrible. My furniture was being delivered in a couple of days (from the service date) and it was important to me to have that carpet cleaned and sanitized before my shipment arrived.....and for the safety of my children! I called Shamrock and the owner answered. He gave me a same day appointment and he was right on time!! He was courteous, and professional, and thorough. I will definitely use this company again in the future as well as refer him to my friends.

It was outstanding! My mom is thrilled with the quality of this service and couldn't stop comparing all of the things he did to previous carpet cleaners. He arrived as scheduled, was thorough, pleasant, gave a little advice when she asked, moved a few pieces of furniture and used small plastic pieces under furniture that would bleed into the carpet. The carpet dried as he predicted and she can't stop gloating about her clean carpet. Any service person who can satisfy an 86 year old woman, is worth their weight in gold!

They did an amazing job! He was here right on time, did a walk through with me. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in a few years. It is just amazingly clean!!! He even gave me footies so I could walk on it before it was dry. I will definitely use again on a regular basis!

When I called Tim, he answered the phone and quoted me a price right on the spot. He was running a little early so called to see if he could come sooner than the appointment and that actually worked better for me. He cleaned my couch and then becuase he did just a good job, I asked him to do the carpet on the stairs. I felt that he gave me a very fair price and did excellent job. I would recommend him to others and definitely use him again.

Tim and Shamrock were wonderful. I had called three companies and they not only came in with the best price they were the most accommodating to meet our needs regarding the timing (wanted them to come before we moved in). Tim was very knowledgeable as I explained I was trying not only to clean the carpets but get rid of the previous owner's nasty cigarette smell that permeated everything! (Seriously, who smokes in their bedroom - gross!) They showed up on time and wound up having to work around another company installing a water filtration system, and although we had to leave, they worked it out and locked up when they were finished. When we came back the next day to inspect the work the carpets looked amazing. Great company, great work and great prices. Highly recommended!!!

The service man arrived promptly, thoroughly cleaned the carpet on the steps and was finished quickly.

Shamrock arrived well within the window they gave us. The person (I am sorry I can't remember his name!) was extremely courteous, upbeat and professional. He cleaned a couch in the basement and a chair in our living room. The chair was made of sunflower seed sacks- not typical upholstery- and he cleaned it thoroughly and carefully. I would HIGHLY recommend Shamrock and will use them the next time my pets finish destroying the furniture!

Tim was very pleasant and professional. He responded very quickly with an estimate and arrived on time. He called me ahead of time so I could meet him at the house, as we hadn't moved in yet. There were stains in several of the rooms that I thought were permanent. He got them all out and left the carpets damp, NOT soaking wet. They were dry in a few hours. He stretched a carpet in my rec room (that was $100 - the actual carpet cleaning was only $189!!) I was leery about hiring him because his estimate was so low compared to others. He cleaned 5 bedrooms, a rec room, a couple of hallways, and 28 stairs for that price! I do not regret it at all - he did a fantastic job - even left me booties to walk around so I wouldn't dirty the carpet while it was still damp. I would recommend him to anyone, and will use him again in the future.

Did a great job, very thorough and professional. I had a stubborn stain in the carpet in my front room that came back in a few days and they came out and cleaned again at no charge. I will definitely use them whenever I need carpets cleaned in the future. I was getting my house ready to put on the market and they did a great job!
