Justin and his crew did a great job. The patio especially turned out nicely, but the landscaped beds were also well done. In the months before the work started we communicated frequently with Justin and he was always very responsive. We got estimates from several similar contractors, but Justin's was the most professional submission and he obviously was a cut above the rest. He's the only one who addressed ground preparation for the patio as well as the landscaped beds, which I appreciated. While the crews working on site were h****** my existing yard, Justin went above-and-beyond to repair/replace sod. We did have a problem with the patio: for some unknown reason, the poly-sand used to fill in between the pavers did not harden appropriately. However, after apprising Justin of the issue, he promptly confirmed the problem and replaced the old, defective poly-sand with new. The problem was purely due to a defective product and was not the fault of the contractor. We also recently noticed the mulch in the landscaped beds was almost gone after only a few months after creation. Justin promptly sent his crew out to put more mulch in the beds to correct it. I highly recommend Justin and Nature's Artisans.

I reached out to Nature's Artisans to get an estimate on a replacing a retaining wall in our back yard. I heard back within one business day. Justin apologized that I was out of their work area but provided me with a recommendation for someone he knew and trusted in my area. This level of professionalism is very much appreciated and I would definitely reach out to them again were the geography to be different.

I picked Justin from Nature's Artisan after soliciting 4 estimates to have my blue stone walkway redone after it sustained significant water damage from flooding around my house. I explained my idea to Justin of moving the walkway to high ground and adding a dry creek bed where the blue stone walkway used to exist. He listened to everything I said and returned within a week with a written estimate and drawing of what we spoke about. We eliminated two companies from the start because one took over a month to get back to us with any estimate and the other never showed up to view the job. What I liked very much about Justin's version is that he really listened to everything I said and incorporated that vision into our plan. He was flexible and adjusted the plan several times to accommodate changes I wanted as the plan progressed. Communication with Justin was very easy. I spoke to him by phone and also communicated with him via email. He even returned back to the property when I had made some additional changes to the plan to make sure he understood what I was asking. When it came time to complete the work his crew showed up on time and finished in less than a week. His crew that laid the blue stone were very friendly and professional. The work site was always cleaned after they finished working for the day. My wife and I felt like we were on a Home Garden TV show the day we got home from work to discover all the new plantings had been planted. Prior to using Justin we checked his references and they were all glowing and positive. In fact we were a little suspicious at first because they almost seemed too glowing but they turned out to be correct. We are very pleased with our new blue stone walkway, dry creek bed, and perennial plantings. Everything looks great! We will definitely call on Justin again if we have any future landscape/stone work.
