We were overcharged for labor and installation. In addition, the technician tried to charge us for 1.5 hours of work when he was only there for an hour, at best. After we purchased the toilet from Lowe's and bringing it home for installation, Uneeda plumbing tried to charge us over $600 for less than an hour of work. Uneeda has taken longer than 2 weeks to provide the refund. This was once a reliable company. We've used them in our home on multiple occasions to do many jobs. We will look for a new company at this point.

They came out last summer and repaired toilets, installed water filters and garbage disposal. They were expensive for the work performed (more than $5K), but OK. The garbage disposal broke last week and the rep said "there will be no charge for a service call since it's still under warranty. When the technician came out, he fixed it in 5 minutes, charged $165 and insisted that the rep "didn't know what she was talking about". When we called Uneeda, the answer was "sorry, I guess I was wrong; I guess we always charge even if we don't do any work." Would never use them again or recommend their services.

Lynn’s team was great. I called and they were at my home in a couple hours and 3 hours later my basement toilet was back up and running. They were very clean on a not so clean job.

Lynn is a pleasure to work with, and he has an eye for detail. He is not cheap ... but he's good. You know the job will be done right if you hire him.

He and his people arrived on time, got the work done, and helped me figure out some tricky access questions. They were careful in installing new systems, and cleaned up completely afterwards. It is a pleasure to deal with the company. I would definitely hire again.

I have used Lynn Schilling and Uneeda Plumbing for nearly thirty years, since his father, Bob, ran the business. They have always been highly professional, honest, reasonably priced and very dependable. Mostly, they just do great work. I highly recommend them for any plumbing related work that you need done. They are certainly more responsive and reasonably priced than the well known, larger plumbing outfits in the DC metro area.

I've used Lynn for many years. He never disappoints me. His is always punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I had asked for a water filter for my kitchen faucet. He suggested that I change my existing instant hot to hot and cold. That would give me the filtered water that I wanted and save me a lot of money by not getting a water filter for the faucet. I so appreciated his suggestion and it works great. He also replaced my existing faucet and soap dispenser. He suggested that I order both from a website that would save me money - once again, a great suggestion. I highly recommend Uneeda for all plumbing needs.

I was hoping to replace the shower faucets. They are the older two handle type, one for ?hot? and one for ?cold.? They are the economy models. Some of the threads are worn and some of the plastic covers are cracked. I have to replace the washers about once or twice a year. The last time, I did not ?seat? them correctly, and we go a leak into the wall. I was hoping to get a single handle ?washer less? model. The ?Uneeda? contractor was professional. He brought a trainee. They put on covers over their shoes. They explained all the work they would do with an estimate. To repair the existing faucet would be $250.00. To install a washer less single handle would be over $3000. The new faucet would be top of the line. I had them repair the existing faucet, which was no more than replacing the washers and properly seating them. They did not replace any hardware other than the rubber washers. This cost too much for the work that they did, even though it was very professional.

Good reliable work done on time.

Lynn responded to our urgent call and put us into the schedule the next day. A few years prior, he had installed an easy to use shut-off valve (that also limited peak pressure into the house) so that additional water damage could be limited. On arrival the next day, he found the water pipe between family room and bathroom and also inspected surrounding pipes. Wet areas (to include between the walls) have dried without additional damage, with one preventive repair to follow. Lynn knows what he is doing and prices are reasonable for what is needed.

They were right on time, very friendly and professional. Gave us an honest assessment, checked out the previous vendor's work, and said we were all set. Didn't even charge me for coming out. I was impressed and will keep them on file for the future.

Uneeda is one of the most responsive companies I've ever dealt with! The office manager (Karen) responded very quickly, fit me into today's schedule, and kept me updated on the projected arrival time. The plumber (Lynn Schilling) was courteous, explained everything, fixed the problem, and cleaned up very neatly.

They had to jackhammer up the concrete floor; make a connection that had never been installed for the basement shower to drain properly to the sewer line going out of the house, and close up the concrete again. They were quick, well-mannered, and did good work.

They are a little expensive but they do great work. Very responsive. Excellent work!

It was excellent. He was prompt and pleasant and charged me the bare minimum. I had used him previously to install a garbage disposal and replaced toilet components and I was very satisfied with him.

Lynn performed excellent work both times we've employed his services. He is punctual, professional and fastidious - something my wife greatly appreciates and expects from our contractors. His communications about what he will do and when are very clear. We found his advice to be informative and insightful.

Great service!!! The pressure valve was done very quickly and he came back to replace a defective toilet then next day with a new toilet.

I had just purchased my first home, and was informed that the existing water heater was non-functional and would need to be replaced. I first spoke with Lynn, the owner of Uneeda Plumbing, by telephone to inquire as to services offered, estimated cost, timelines, etc. Lynn was extremely informative and provided me excellent information with which to make my decision. Although I was considering a tankless unit, I settled on a 50 gallon gas-fired water heater, based on Lynn's recommendations (it's the same model he has installed in his house). I was surprised to find that Uneeda was open New Year's Eve, and was scheduling service calls. Lynn was supposed to arrive by 8am, but graciously called me to inform me that he would be a bit late. Overall the service was excellent! Lynn is a garrulous, amicable fellow and chatted with me while he worked. I was amazed by the fluidity with which he could switch between his conversation with me, to calling out measurements for Seamus (his assistant), and then jump back into a conversation. Lynn and Seamus worked quickly and efficiently, removing the old unit and installing the new one in less than 2 hours. They even swept up after themselves when they were finished! I am extremely pleased with the response time, the up-front cost information Lynn provided me with (including possible areas for overruns), the services rendered, and the final product. The installation was a little expensive, but it seemed to be in line with the three other plumbers I called for estimates. I'm confident Uneeda did an excellent job and my new water heater will last effectively for years to come! Given the quality of this service, I am almost certain to use Uneeda again for my future plumbing needs.

This level of service is what I have come to expect from UNEEDA. I have had them install new plumbing and gas hook ups for my kitchen remodel, installation of a laundry tub and faucet, connecting a new gas line and gas log when I converted my fireplace from wood to gas. I use them whenever I have a plumbing installation or repair. They have always performed excellent work with top quality components and reasonable prices. You may be able to find a company that will do work for less money, but they will not be able to match the quality or professionalism I have found with UNEEDA.

Timely and provided additional information about toilets, sinks, etc. Suggested options for future repair or remodeling, but never angles for additional work. Very pleasant. Ensured everything was working, and cleaned up well after job was done.

Spanky and his associate came over, fixed the leaks, put on a new shut-off valve, alerted meabout other possible trouble spots for future reference. I hope no one has to use a plumbervery often and we all know they aren't cheap. But if you do need one, I would go to Spanky.He sure know's what he's doing!

The contractor sent Spanky and Sherman to perform the service. The work was done in an old 9 story building on Connecticut Avenue new the Cleveland Park metro. They showed up on time and completed the work promptly. Both were very professional and friendly offering tips to deal with fixtures dating back to the 1940's (old condo building). I would definitately use them again for the next plumbing repair services.
