I needed to replace an old window air conditioner. I did not want another window unit but my older home has no AC ducts so central air would be too costly. I finally settled on a Mitsubishi ductless system. I felt I could have some of the benefits of central air without the expense. The system consists of an interior wall unit and an outdoor compressor unit. Holes for wiring and a drain hose are hidden behind the wall unit. I posted my request on the Mitsubishi website and was shortly contacted by Brian Quillin, Service Manager at Hubrig Heating & Cooling. We subsequently scheduled a consultation at my home to discuss my options. Since I only wanted to cool the living room/dining room area I decided to get a single zone system, with one ton of power (12,000 BTUs). I also decided to get the optional mobile access unit that my daughter wanted. She liked the idea of being able to control the air conditioner from a smart device. Additionally, I also needed electrical work to bring my home wiring up to code. This was separate from the Mitsubishi job. After a few weather delays, installation was set for May 2. That morning, two installers arrived at my door bright and early. I was really glad to see them because it was going to be one of the hottest days of the year. While one installer affixed the wall unit, the other installer cleared the outdoor space for the compressor unit. Brian also stopped by to check on things. Since I had single zone cooling (multi-zone is also available) the installation went very fast and only took about four hours to complete. When the AC was turned on it was so quiet, I didn’t realize it was working until I felt the cool air. It was wonderful! The Mitsubishi single zone ductless system has far exceeded my expectations. It not only cools the living/dining room area, but the entire first floor. I did not expect that. Although I purchased the mobile access unit, I am not using it. My daughter felt reviews were not positive enough to risk downloading the mobile app at this time. Neither of us thought to read reviews beforehand. Hopefully, future upgrades will correct the areas of concern. Working with Hubrig and Mitsubishi has been a stress-free experience. Brian was always available, both for me and the electricians. He even came back the Saturday after installation to go over a few things with my daughter. Before the installers left they went over maintenance requirements and remote control functions with me. Everything I needed to know to keep the system running smoothly. They also cleaned up every bit of debris, both inside and outside and left everything pristine. Just outstanding customer service from Hubrig. If anyone is interested in a Mitsubishi ductless air conditioner, I highly recommend Hubrig Heating & Cooling. You won’t be disappointed. .

Recommended previously by a neighbor, I contacted Hubrig when my 17 yr old heating system was not functioning so well. They found the problem and recommended replacing the system. They replaced it within a week before the old system could break down completely -- coming back in the warmer weather to install the outside unit for the aircon. I now have better heating and cooling than I've had for years. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and the price was a lot less than it would have been from bigger companies.

We use Hubrig whenever we have an HVAC issue. They are extremely responsive and we feel that we can rely on them at all times. They have done small running repairs, and regular services for us as well as HVAC 101 lessons so we can get the most out of our system. The big job we had done was a boiler replacement; they worked with us on choosing the best equipment for us and helped us reconfigure our boiler room to free up storage space. We have worked with them on some old radiators in our basement which we had not been able to get working properly and they kept coming back (often without charging) until everyone was satisfied with the result. They come on time, clean up and are very friendly.

Diagnosed problem in radiant heat system in old house, replaced pump and fixed a few safety issues. Pump was above our budget, but he was able to get a newish one second hand and saved us the money. Very friendly and responsive and seemingly very knowledgeable.
