Great - they were prompt and professional.

At first Weisman Electric Co's service was good and then it was kind of unfortunate because the person that we were dealing with left the company. It was kind of confusing on who to deal with and it was a little bit hard to talk to the people in charge bit it's probably getting better. They've always done what we've asked them to do. They are very professional. The generator came on for the first time yesterday and it just worked perfectly. We talked with other people and their cost was better. The generator is very good. We had to get an upgrade on our circuit breaker and that was fine. We use them now based on our experience.

Excellent. Couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. This company is "first-rate"... top to bottom..!! Highly recommended.

Their prices were fine. I do not believe we had check with other people because we had been using them for electric issues, and we knew they have generator service. The generator has worked. We lose power at the drop of a hat here in Maryland so it has come on and been very reliable.

I figured I would try this Angie's List was not super thrilled. I left several messages (one during business hrs and one with service) the third time she was just geting ready to call me back. We received a call that morning that he was on his way about an hour later we called to see if he was lost and he had gone to another job. Later that day I received a call asking if I still needed that est I requested I informed them they had a tech here and was working. After two days job was done and didn't receive a bill, I had to call several days later and requested it. Received a call back later after I had paid over the phone wondering if I got the info I needed to pay the bill. I had to inform her that I had and didn't anyone in the office talk to each other since this was the the second time this weirdness had happened. Never got an est - I will hand it to the tech, he called the inspector to ask what he was requesting because he didn't understand.

For a couple years we had one electrical circuit in the house that periodically would stop working, for months at a time, then magically start working again, for months at a time. I knew it would be a thorny debugging issue because the house is old and very quirky. Weisman Electric was able to come out only a day or two after the power on the circuit failed again. They were prompt, professional, curtious and had scheduled just a short time for my problem. As it became clear that it wasn't going to be solved quickly, they rearranged their schedule to accomodate my situation. It took a half a day to find and fix the problem. And it wasn't easy work, I witnessed all of it. But the job was thoroughly, professionally and expertly done. I was very happy with the outcome.

They were professional and responsive from the first call. When they arrived to do the work, they reviewed everything very thoroughly with me so I could go off to work and let them do the job alone. They did a fantastic job. I knew they would have to damage some sheetrock somewhere to do the wiring, and all they did was cut some small square holes in the ceiling, which were easy to patch. I would work with them again.

The outside electrical receptacles and lights on my house stopped working. They fixed the problem and replaced one fixture that I had purchased separately.

Weisman is are professionals, punctual and are known for providing good products. We bought an Onan generator which is not in their regular line of generators, however they were willing to accomodate us. They came for the quote and were punctual but after three weeks of not getting a quote we had to push to get one. At that time the quote was much more than another established provider. Weisman's staff were very professional, punctual and gave great detail on what they are providing. They make sure the job is done right. We were told that Weisman was trying to get answers from Onan and this was the delay. So our personal recommendation would be to consider getting the generator from them and using them or using another established firm. We are going with another firm who has yet to provide the contracted services. .

Prompt service. Successfully worked around a wiring problem. Very friendly and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

Arrived on time; Finished the work within an hour including trip to get replacement fan required. worked efficiently; clean; courteous; I was most pleased with the work done.

I orginally had a Briggs & Stratton generator installed in October 2005. It performed well in general. However in about May-June of 2009, the generator began to have a series of mechanical problems. Weisman technicians worked tirelessly trying to isolate the issue but each time they fixed something, shortly after that, another issue would pop up. After going through a series of these frustrating technical issues, to which Weisman was always very responsive, they identified a latent manufactures defect. They took it upon themselves to demand that the manufacturer provide a replacement generator at no cost to us. It was installed and has worked with no problem. I am very satisfied with the service that I have gotten from Weisman, not only in getting a reliable generator, but keeping it in reliable functioning condition.

I have a GE home generator that was installed by another electrical company. During the latest power outage the generator "died". I just starting calling down the list of "authorized" service companies listed on the GE site. Since I had no power, I had to get the list off my son's smart phone just in case you were wondering. The company that initially responded did come take a look, diagnosed the problem, left to get the failing part, and then I never heard from him again. Fortunately my power did come back the next day. Afterwards, I did my due diligence to see if anyone on the list was also listed on Angie's list. This is how I select Weisman Electric. They came out when the said they would be there. The electrician diagnosed the problem, obtained the part and made the fix. He performed several outside tests and also a failover test. He took time to explain to me how to reset the auto test function and things to lookout for. At my request a preventive maintenance (PM) was also performed. The support extended beyond the electrician. The business office explained how the annual PM works, how to monitor my generator, and when it would be appropriate to request a PM off cycle. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would/have recommended Weisman to friends and family.

I had 4 companies come out and they were the best. It's a one stop shop to get a whole house generator. It was absolutely the best price. They were professional, fast and precise. I recommend them to anyone, and I already have!

I thought the work was great. No complaints. And after the first year they will maintain the generator on a maintenance contract. They were less than the other bids but provided a better generator and seemed more competent. Would definitely recommend this group, however after waiting for a day for the electrical inspector to show up for the final inspection I called and somehow the electrical inspection never got scheduled after we agreed on the day so they rescheduled it. The inspector failed the system saying the wire was too small for the circuit breakers in the system. So the system needs to be reworked and then reinspected. Too bad they seemed so good when we started this project.

They were a great company. They come every year and service it. We have a service agreement with them, but the whole process of putting in the generator was very nice. They were really personable people and friendly. It has been a great experience. Their service was great. Their product was great. We had several estimates and I think they came in the middle, but they offered us exactly what we wanted. It wasn't the cheapest, but I think it was the best price for us. I would use them again in the future.

They were on time as indicated. Two days before they were scheduled completed work within one hour.

Two experienced electricians come and helped with issues resulting from hurricane power outage. Had used them on previous jobs and work has always been excellent.

The work turned out very good. They were prompt, professional and efficient. They knew what they were doing and got it done.

Management has a bad attitude, really don't stand behind their work, complain about having to redo what they'd done wrong

The work proceeded on schedule and both workers were exceptionally professional and personable. Although the work took a bit longer than anticipated, that was due to problems that were uncovered in our 1954 Rancher that had been "rehabbed" by a Do-It-Yourselfer (from whom we purchased the house). We are hoping to do some upgrades to the kitchen next Spring/Summer and I will gladly call Weisman to do that work, too.

I'm very impressed with the positive attitude these guys came in with. No job was too big or too small. There are definitely no egos involved in dealing with them. The job turned out excellent and I'm very happy with the outcome.
