+ 0 moreScott was extremely friendly and professional, and most importantly, he was honest. We have a unique chimney structure and he admitted that the work would be extremely expensive and complex, then he recommended another service provider that could do it in a more cost effective manner.

+ 0 moreScott was prompt to return call and set up appointment and arrived right on schedule. He provided good insight about maintenance watch items like cracked/gapped mortar in the hearth area, etc. but wasn't aggressively trying to upsell either. Will definitely call them for future needs.

+ -1 moreResponsive to calls and very quick to schedule an appointment. Quoted a fair price and that’s what we paid. Prompt, courteous and left the place spotless. Also did a fire safety inspection throughout the house — he is/was a firefighter. Will use his services annually. Glad to have a great local option for this kind of service.

Description of Work: Called Scott, owner, Thursday morning. He took some of my information and said he would call back that evening to get more information and to make an appointment. No call that evening. Gave owner another chance and called him Friday morning (he lost the information from Thursday). We made an appointment for the next Monday at 9 am. Nobody showed up or called Monday at 9 am. I called owner's business number and cell phone number several times Monday morning and did not get a response. Owner called me Monday afternoon and said appointment was for Tuesday. Owner apologized for mistake but I told him I wanted to go with another company.

+ 0 moreHe was just amazing. The people who were in the house before we bought it did not bother to clean the chimneys. There was about an inch to inch and a half grease and the campfire was really strong in the house when we first took possession. He was just amazing every step of the way.
Description of Work: I used The Chimney Guy for chimney repair and chimney sweep. He cleaned it and he came thrice. He replaced the entire liner which had cracked.
