Description of Work: 500 square foot stone paver patio, design consultation, landscaping and kid play zone. Ron, Austin, and Chris did an excellent job. Their crew was punctual, fast and did and excellent job. Could not have asked for a better company. Not the cheapest, but the best overall design and a great experience.

Description of Work: Additional pavers were added attaching to the existing patio. Built steps and excavated for a 3'x 25' walkway and the attachment to the existing. This is the second time that I have used Stewart's. Recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Created patio and walkway. Beautiful work. Lots of compliments. There was difficulty with scheduling, and I think they were overpriced but, because I had already paid for an Angie's list coupon, I didn't want to do the work of starting over with someone else.

Description of Work: Stewart L&L came out promptly to assess the job, was very accommodating and easygoing about aspects outside the Big Deal I bought, which was for $1,499 for a square patio. Extending here and there and adding a curved border was not a problem and only a little more cost. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

Description of Work: I have a sprinkler system and Stewart was very reasonable in price and did an excellent job installing. I am very happy.

Description of Work: I purchased a complete landscape makeover for $899. Stewert Landscaping first provided me with a plan for about $5000 that was more involved than what I wanted. After emphasizing that I just wanted the Angie's List Deal they provided two more plans both of which would cost an additional $500 minimum. It became apparent that they had no intention of honoring the Angie's List Deal and just wanted access to push a more expensive job. I cancelled the deal and did it myself.

Description of Work: This was the second job we hired them for, via Angie's list. We had communication issues with the first job, as the crew began working before Miss Utilities marked the area, and a cable was cut during the excavation. Had I not spotted the cable cut and taken pictures of it, we wouldn't have known, as no one mentioned it. Now that the plants are growing, we can see just how bad of a job they did... We've had perennials popping up in the middle of the area we had sodded, and the peonies that were supposed to have been moved to another area are now growing up in the middle of the new bushes that were planted in the old beds. It also appears they didn't put any landscaping fabric down before mulching, as we have large weeds growing up through the mulch. | As far as their paver work, right now everything still looks good-- including both jobs. However, due to their lack of attention with regard to the plantings and communication issues during the process, we won't be using this company again. We've had a number of email exchanges with various members of the company, and they don't seem to communicate well with each other, let alone their customers. My telephone experiences have been 'uncomfortable', in that conversations frequently become debates.

Description of Work: It took several calls on my part to get the work done. I'd call & someone was to call back the next day, but was often a week later. However everyone I spoke to was very polite & professional. The pathway they installed has a very clean, professional look, more formal than my liking, but none-the-less, a job well done. However I was not pleased with the disposition of the dirt/sand they dug up. 1 or 2 wheelbarrel-full was dumped in a pile in my front/side yard. Now my husband with a bad hip, & I with bad knees have to go move it. They also dumped 4 or 5 more loads at the edge of the woods, making it harder for us to get trough there. We'd asked them to dump it further in the woods, out of the way. But for the most part, they did a very good job and I would recommend their services. Oh, 1 more thing, I received an invoice for payment due that I had to straighten out, after they had been paid by Angie's List. |

Description of Work: Installed a pathway from the drive way to the front door, and the front landing. And they removed the existing concrete path.

Description of Work: I contacted Stewart Lawn and Landscaping to prepare a design to help with a drainage problem in my backyard. They put in a patio, built up the ground around the patio, and added boulders, river rock, and a stepping stone walkway. They did a fantastic job. I am extremely happy with the job that was done and the staff was wonderful to work with.

Description of Work: Demolished concrete stairs and installed pavers under my deck

Description of Work: They removed the old cement sidewalk and front steps, replacing it with pavers, landscaped, and resodded the front yard. Unfortunately, the work was done before Miss Utilities came out to mark the location of underground wires, and a cable was cut. Had I not spotted the cut cable and taken pictures, we wouldn't have known, as no one mentioned this for a week after the work was done. However, after contacting the contractor and providing pictures of the cable, they agreed to reduce the cost of installation (per our request).

Description of Work: Clean up landscaping and mowing service

Description of Work: Replaced a narrow brick side walk with a wider paver side walk. Used the brick which was removed to install a patio for a picnic table.
