Brad managed my project. Brad was wonderful to work with and kept me informed every day about the work to be accomplished that day. I am absolutely thrilled with the end result. Our single family home sits on a corner lot and required a major overhaul of garden, grass, ivy and bush/tree areas. For the Seasonal Clean Up, three men arrived early afternoon and basically got to work tidying and organizing our property for the next three hours. They removed debris, fertilized, mulched, applied weed control, and generally edged and shaped the gardens. Though expensive, the result was well worth the cost. Over the Spring and Summer, Stewart Lawn will mow and perform basic yard work on a bi-weekly basis. In order to initiate the contract, we paid for the first four mowings along with a 1/3 deposit on the Clean Up.

Excellent workmanship with stone wall, walk and river stone replacement. Plants are still thriving. Timely and responsive. Provided great planning and recommendations. Would use this company again.

Okay but we seemed to have more weeds than usual. They did respond to the call and came out to re-treat.

Other than the minimum charge for a visit being $150, I am very happy with the service.

The owner came out which was really nice and he walked us through everything so while he was drawing we were walking. It was really cool. We would absolutely use them if we were to go with anybody. His quote was for $8000.

I called Stewart to get an estimate on replacing a retaining wall which was made from landscaping ties and was rotting away. Ron came to my house for the estimate and immediately looked around and started offering suggestions on what could be done. I was so impressed with his creativity that I requested he design a makeover for the area. Within a few days I had his sketches and design. We met a few more times to solidify the design and I signed the contract. The crew showed up at the designated time and went about implementing the design. They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. The design called for three stacked stone walls terraced down to ground level, planting of various colorful plants, and stone veneer of an existing concrete wall as well as building a landing and steps. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Ron and his employees exemplify how all businesses should run. You can use Stewart Landscaping with complete confidence.

They gave a beautiful design to put stone on my porch, use tumbled pavers on the sidewalk and created a stone walkway all the way to my back patio. All was beautifully landscaped. I am very satisfied and have had many neighbors complement the design and job that was done. The work and cleanup was done in a very professional manner and under the estimated completion time. I would definitely use them again.

Ron came to discuss our plan and listened to our needs for landscaping our front and side yard. He made several suggestions for plantings to achieve the effects we were looking for within the price we were willing to pay: blending shrubbery across the front of our house with a sloping front yard and hiding our heat pump and trash can area on the side yard. The low part of the front garden was raised 2-feet with a slate stone border with a 12-foot diameter round area centered on an existing Japanese Dogwood Tree. The rest of the plantings fit in nicely with the existing garden. From the first meeting to the job completion took only 7 days. We were kept informed of work times and the workers were right on time. Cleanup of the work areas were such that you could not tell they had been here. Very impressed! We would definitely use Stewart Landscaping for future jobs.

I wasn't able to meet with an Account Manager due to my work schedule, but they were knowledgeable and knew EXACTLY what I needed. The price was on point and the Account Manager was responsive to the questions I had. The ladies in the office are super nice and helpful. The work was able to get scheduled sooner than I expected & when I came home from work. WOW! my yard never looked better. I'm looking forward to working with them next year as well.

Their estimator came our right away, the price was reasonable and they had room on their schedule to do the work soon. Due to recent weather landscapers in the area were pretty busy. I was hoping to get a new lawn started before it got cold and when they had a cancellation come up they were able to do the work within a few days. Their work was absolutely professional, every item was what we had agreed on, and at a very reasonable price. I cannot stress how impressed I was when I pulled in the driveway at the end of the day. So in early 2013 we got a generic letter from the county regarding ensuring residents with sprinkler systems are compliant with the County's Backflow protection regulations. This includes that all irrigation systems must be installed with a "backflow preventer." In addressing this to Stewart that the county indicated they had failed to do this all I got was a lot of excuses about how they used a "check valve" instead, which is not the same thing and trying to call it a "simple sprinkler system" instead of an irrigation system. Also found out from the county that they never pulled a permit as required. The company owner just made up lots of excuses like claiming I wanted a cheap system and then telling the BBB that we already fixed it (which we had not). We had a little difficulty getting them to come out for the first clean up due to rain. But once the rain let up, they came out and did the seasonal clean up. They did a great job as we had been out of town for 3 weeks and came back to a messy overgrown courtyard. They cleaned it up, mulched and weeded. Then they came the following day to mow. I guess they were two different crews. Since that first initial clean up we see them every two weeks, usually they arrive on a Tuesday (unless it's raining) and clean up the fallen leaves and debris, mow and pull the weeds. We live in Historic Annapolis, so it's a small courtyard, but requires more work than I can give to it at this time. They are so fast and efficient that it usually only takes them about 15 minutes. They also blow the leaves off of my front walk and porch before they head out on their way. We are very happy with their work. Also, one day it was alight drizzle and I wasn't expecting them to come, but they did. I'm glad the sprinkles didn't keep them away. As the weather turns cooler and the leaves fall we will need them even more! We are very happy with Stewart and will recommend them to other people.

The landscaping they did here at one time, they did terrific job.

We received a postcard in the mail and requested Stewart's Landscaping come out and give us a quote. They provided a quote for seasonal clean up and ongoing lawn maintenance services. We have been using Stewart's about four months. They did a great job on the seasonal clean up though it was scheduled for one day but ran into two days. Not a problem becuase I have a flexible work schedule, but if I didn't I would have been in a pickle. The majority of the issues arose from the weekly lawn maintenance. The issues we encountered were: - Mowing in the rain leaving mower tire tracks in the grass - we had to call to say, don't mow if it's raining. Really?! - Mowing and weeding were part of the contract - weeding was only done when I called to ask that the beds be weeded -Pruning shrubs - only some shrubs were pruned. Shrubs that clearly needed some attention were somehow overlooked. We then called our account rep to alert him of the situation and they came out and cut the side of the shrubs and not the tops leaving a non uniform appearance. - Staff stepped on a sprinkler head and broke it. Some notification would have been nice. But we'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that since it was in the flowering beds. ?Used a weed eater in several spots in our back yard instead of a mower. The grass was cut too low; thus causing several dead spots. Stewart's had a service manager come out on four occasions to look at the lawn and he agreed that it was not acceptable or a good representation of their ususal work. He apologized and had a crew come out the next day to address our concerns. The crew did just that - show up. We then called to speak with the owner and this is what really stunned us, a service manager took the call, used unprofessional language and spoke derogatorily about his employees using culturally insensitive remarks in reference to them. Taken aback, we asked to speak with the owner, Ron Stewart, and was meet with a cavalier and condescending attitude. Wow! They did give us a statement credit for the broken sprinkler head, but in the end that could never pay for the attitude displayed to these customers. I read the ratings, but it was no where close to our experience. Thanks but no thanks, we will take our business elsewhere.

They do really good work. They will work within our budget. They are reliable and extremely professional. They stand behind their plants and hardscape. The owner, who is also the designer, is absolutely wonderful!

We are thrilled with the landscaping and the pavers. I couldn't believe how nice and neat it all looked. We have gotten compliments every day since we have had this work done and we are very happy with the way it all turned out. I can't wait for everything to be in full bloom! Austin was fantastic and we really appreciated the added to drain to keep the pavers in good shape. We are now waiting for info from Austin on a seasonal contract! I highly recommend Stewart Lawn & Landscape and will definitely use them again next year when we start on our backyard!

We were extremely pleased with the way the project turned out and our family/friends who are aware of the before and after were quite surprised at how the look of the back of our house had improved.

The guy that came out he had to come back three or four times. because he didn't understand what I wanted. there was a lot of mis communication. I had a quote only. He re attach to cap that came off.

They did very well. They were great guys.

We called them to late in the season, so the told us we probably shouldn't have the work done at the time. They were very friendly and informative. We appreciated their honesty, and we will consider using them in the future.

The designs Ron submitted for our porch and walkway as well as landscaping materials complimented our house beautifully. He listened to what ideas I had and turned out a design that was better than I anticipated. His pricing, which included a fully landscaped front bed, was extremely competitive. The work was done efficiently and there were no problems with cleanup. I arrived home to a "new" front yard and we are very pleased. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them for future work.
