Great communication and work. Driveway was replaced with in a week of contacting this company. Everything was communicated with clarity and they listened to what I wanted done and did it. The driveway and walk look great and would recommend and use them again.

I will never lose this number. Maryland Curbscape did a driveway and small steps in 2015. They did an excellent job then. Fast forward a couple of months ago. I had a water pipe replaced. With the sidewalk tore up I was rushing to find a concrete company. I could not find Maryland curbscapes phone number at the time couldn’t even remember the name exactly and ended up finding someone else. They replaced the sidewalk they did an ok job. This contractor talked a good game “I’ve been in the business for years”, they did stamped concrete. There were pictures on the website. I figured they were there, it would probably cost more to bring someone else in at this point. I had them replace my walkway and stairs to my front door, with stamped concrete. Well….. A month later this contractor still not finished, I was left with a crooked pattern on the walkway, drips down the front of the steps from the dye, which sat to long. There were holes in the side of the steps. I was left with a mess. I fired them March 26th. You get what you pay for. Don’t settle. I found Maryland Curbscape’s information within this time. I emailed them late about 7. Paul called me right away. I explained my mess. Paul met me at my house March 29th when I got home from work. We discussed the job. We went over some of the issues from the previous contractors work. April 1st I emailed Paul about adding grading my yard to the mix, we discussed a little of this and the schedule over the phone. April 3rd he and his crew were at my house ready to work (the same foreman he had in 2015). That Saturday, April 7th, I was able to walk on my steps and walkway and my yard was properly graded with grass seed. It looks great!!! Paul was quick, attentive, had suggestions. He knew I was vulnerable due to the work prior. He could have taken advantage of the fact that I was having the prior work removed, and wanted it replaced right away. Paul was fair and reasonable. Paul was available at anytime to answer questions, via text, email or phone. Paul treats every job like it’s his first. Paul, Juan-Carlos (foreman) and crew do a great job, every time! I will never lose this number, and would certainly recommend Maryland Curbscapes anytime.

This project was smaller than this company normally does and was fit in when they did another larger job in the area. I had a small portion of the garage floor near the overhead door that had become bare down to dirt. They filled in the area with cement and did a great job.

Our existing asphalt driveway was in bad shape. It definitely needed replacement. Mr. Joseph of All State Paving did a great job explaining the pros and cons of asphalt and concrete, so we decided to go with concrete. The work was done jointly by All State Paving and Maryland Curbscape. They did a terrific job! All State Paving did the demolition work. The crew was careful and professional, but also expeditious in cleaning out and preparing the worksite for the concrete crew. The next day, Maryland Curbscape came in and poured the new concrete driveway and then finished by pouring a concrete front walkway that was dyed and stamped to look like terracotta bricks. It looks great! We are very pleased. Communication was excellent. Both crews were professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing. We highly recommend both companies. The end product looks very nice. Our neighbors have complimented this needed change. It really cleaned up the curb appeal (and ease of use) for our home. The initial install of our new concrete front steps was out of scale and too close to a utility, so Maryland Curbscape quickly removed the concrete and corrected it with use of a stair drawing provided by our landscape architect. Now we are very happy with the outcome. Paul and his crew were very professional and responsive. It was good working with them.

The owner of MD Curbscape came out to discuss the driveway project on time. He listened to our request and made a few suggestions to improve the project. He supplied a quote within 2 days of our meeting. We set a timeframe for the driveway replacement and the length of time that the project would take to complete - 1 day. On the day of the project, he and his crew showed up on time. He went through the process with us and then gave us suggestions to help the concrete cure better. The project was completed in one day as promised. Plus he followed up with a phone call to ensure our satisfaction and reviewed care instructions. I would highly recommend Maryland Curbscape for your concrete needs.

Paul responded the day after I called with a proposal for the work, and we scheduled the work four days later. He was enthusiastic, professional, and responsive. His crew arrived on the job at precisely the time it was scheduled, and they were finished with the work within an hour. Everything went extremely smoothly.

My experience with Maryland Curbscape was excellent. They installed a stamped concrete patio in my back yard on October 9, 2017. The patio was approximately 450 square feet. Overall, I was very pleased with the process and how the patio turned out. The pattern and color were as expected. The crew was efficient and courteous. The owner Paul was clear and responsive throughout. He always responded to emails, texts, and phone calls within hours. Paul worked with me to install the patio within the date window that I requested. It was raining hard in the morning on the day of the install, but looking at the weather forecast, we both agreed to gamble that the weather would clear up before the concrete needed to be poured, which it did. Paul was onsite for about an hour in the morning to go over the layout details and to get the job started. He left after that, but stayed in contact during the day as the job progressed. The 6 man crew made quick work (in the pouring rain) of removing an existing paver patio and excavating some additional turf/dirt for the new patio. The patio was poured and stamped in one day as promised. They came back the next day for a couple of hours to wash, seal, and cut expansion joints. The crew did a good job of cleaning up, but it is messy work. The grass immediately around the patio gets trampled pretty good, and it gets covered with powder that is used during the stamping process. Maryland Curbscape does not backfill with dirt or replant grass seed around the edge of the patio, so be prepared to address that on your own afterwards if necessary. I would use Maryland Curbscape again, and would definitely recommend Maryland Curbscape to anyone considering a stamped concrete patio. All of my expectations for the project, from the process to the finished product, were met or exceeded.

Paul was extremely friendly and professional. I had several deck and paver patio estimates conducted. By far, Maryland Curbscape provided the best quality for the best price. I am new to stamped concrete but I am so gad someone recommended it to me.. The final product was amazing and the quality of service was great. Would defiantly recommend to friends in the future.

Paul at Maryland curbscape is a pleasure to work with. He is honest and has great communication. His crew is also wonderful. They arrived on time and was ready to start work right away. I had a 300 square foot stamped patio on a sloped yard installed with stairs. The whole process took 2 days. My wife and I are very satisfied with the work and highly recommend him. He will give you a great deal and we also plan to use his company for another project.

I originally wanted 3 quotes for this job. I contacted Paul from Maryland Curbscape for a quote. He was there the same day I talked with him, to look at job site and produced a verbal quote. One of the other companies didn't really do "stamped" concrete, they sub-contracted out. The other company never responded, after 2 calls, saying they would have somebody call to set appt, nothing happened. Paul got the nod for the job, he seemed to know exactly what I wanted done, and answered all my questions, in fact, when I would have additional questions about the job, he always called back within a few hours, very easy to talk with and very accessible. Since we were adding a new roof to house, Paul opted to start job after roof was completed, this avoided roofers dropping old shingles on new patio. We worked together on start date, as we did have a rain wash out day, but work began the next day. Paul met with me the morning of the job and we went over all aspects of the job. His forman, Juan Carlos, was instructed about the job, and everything exceeded my expectations. Juan's team had the deck down( 15 x 16 wooden deck with fencing) in less than 1 hour. They began to form up patio. Concrete truck was scheduled to be there between 11 and 12, they were right on time. Everything went like clockwork...90% of the job was completed on Wednesday, and the finishing touches on Thursday. OMG.....the transformation was incredible. This was my Mom's house, who recently turned 91, she was amazed at what "stamped" concrete was all about. Juan's suggestion for a small ramp on one side of patio, instead of step, was right on. The new patio will make life so much easier for her, she already notices how easy it is to get to her car, she will be spending more time on her new , beautiful patio.....Thanks soooo much Paul, to you and your team. I highly recommend this company. I did a lot of research and got 4 estimates, all within $750 of each other so prices were quite comparable. Maryland Curbscape provided professional, timely service. Paul was easy to communicate with and if he needed to explain something or discuss a detail he didn't hesitate to pick up the phone and talk to me directly. The crew was on time each day and worked steadily until the job was done. They were friendly and took great care of the gardens that they were working around. The finished product is beautiful.

the good , the bad, the ugly...... The Good, Paul from Maryland concrete was extremely responsive in returning calls, answering questions and getting back to me in general. his crew was very polite and worked very neatly in the yard. the bad, when they performed the job it seemed rushed. they didn't have enough wire reinforcement on hand, when I asked the forman he told me he wasn't left with enough. there is a hardware store right around the corner, not sure why he just didn't send someone to go get $40 worth of wire. a couple of spots in the concrete look like the stamping was pulled up incorrectly, leaving additional cracks and an uneven surface. and the final part to make me feel like job was rushed, we asked that they stain some of them be stained to give a tiled affect. They started putting the stain down with water still pooled up on the concrete, left over from rinsing. this causes to the stain to bleed out and dilute the color. the ugly, understanding that we didn't ask Paul to build us the statue of David and it is just a sidewalk. and none of the contractors warrantied against cracks. if I look past the issues above, I still have a major issue with how the concrete came out. all throughout the walk are dark spots. Paul and I examined them at he finish of the job. he assured me they would cure out, and we should wait 30+ days. after 30 days, more of the spots became visible. and the sidewalk also took on the look of being 2 different tones, like it wasn't sealed properly. Paul was very responsive, coming out to look at the issues after the fact. he had no idea what was causing the spots in the concrete, and hadn't seen something like that happen before. he offered to come out and reseal the patio join the fall, but stated that might make the spotting more visible. but offered no resolution for all the spots. Maryland curbside was one of the more expensive quotes we had, but we went with Paul because we felt like we would be dealing with someone who stood behind their work. I understand that it might be unreasonable for us to ask for the job to be done again, but there is obviously something wrong with the concrete when Paul doesn't know what is causing the issue. and in speaking with another contractor after the fact, there could have been something defective with the concrete. I asked for what was a fair adjustment, still leaving the price on the finished contract well above 2 other quotes. he offered to apply another coat of sealer. given how the entire job went, we are happy we picked Paul because of his responsiveness. I would recommend him to someone, with HUGE reservations. taking into account I maybe a customer who is asking too much of concrete, I am also a customer who picked a more expensive contractor in hopes of getting a quality patio I would be happy with. instead, we have a patio that looks better than the walk we had for about 5 minutes. and when we spend 30 minutes sitting on the patio, we think how disappointed we are.

My neighbor had used Maryland Curbscape a couple years ago and I was impressed with their work. I sent an email on a Sunday, not expecting an answer, but got one back within a couple hours. Paul, the owner, came out a couple days later for a site inspection and quote. He was very professional and helpful with making some recommendations. He sent a contract proposal the next morning. Work was started 2 days later and completed in less than 6 hours. Paul and the work crew arrived early in the morning and went straight to work. The crew was very professional and worked quickly, efficiently and with great skill in their craft. The crew cleaned up after themselves and repaired the yard and work area. If I knew it was this easy, we would have done it many years ago.

Paul and his crew did an excellent job with all of the work at a significantly lower price than other businesses quoted me. Paul's communication and timeliness were exceptional - he reached me by phone, text, or email depending on how I could communicate at the moment (major plus!). I initially got a quote in late January, and instead of pouring the concrete as soon as possible, Paul told me he was going to schedule for March because the warmer weather is better for the concrete. I was very impressed by his focus on giving me the best result instead of taking a check as soon as someone would write it. I had three main tasks: remove yard waste, grade/sod back yard, and grade/pour a driveway. Paul's team filled a 30' dumpster full of yard waste in a day and graded the backyard and driveway. The next day, he laid the sod. On the final day, he poured the concrete (we had to wait due to rain). The backyard looks amazing and the sod has done extremely well. I find myself just gazing at my nearly-flawless yard, and I love walking through it barefoot. The driveway was crushed rock before and would scrape the bottom of my long sedan whenever I drove up or down it. I was very worried that the grading would still be too steep after it was finished, but after a month of using my new driveway, I have yet to scrape it. Paul was always on time when arriving to my house, and he always kept me in the loop about scheduling - due to the rain we had to reschedule a couple times. He required minimal instruction to understand exactly what I wanted to be done, and he delivered a beautiful result. I couldn't be happier.

Everything went well. The crew came on time. They were friendly and professional. They received the concrete early, so they were able to start the work early and finish early as well. I was very pleased with the results. I recommend this company very highly!
