Working with you (Steve Nehus) has truly been a wonderful experience. From the first day we met, you were very honest and down to earth. I felt no sales pressure whatsoever. You were able to answer all my questions and did not push anything on me. I really felt at ease knowing that you were just there trying to represent your company and your products and not pressuring me into anything. Your communication was also fantastic. Every phone call was answered and every email was answered in a timely manner. When it came time to sign the contract, you were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and most importantly, you were very honest and true to your word. Between the time of contract signing and when the project was supposed to begin, which was a couple of months, your communication was very open and you made sure to keep me in the loop. When it came time to meet with Mike, my Production Manager, he was also an extremely nice and down to earth guy. I could not have asked for a better person to work with. Mike listened to all my concerns and made sure that I was taken care of. What set him apart was actually feeling that he had my best interest at heart. After the installation was complete and we did the final walkthrough, we identified some issues both with the materials and the installation. Not once did Mike try to argue his way out of the issues. No matter how small, he took note of them and promised to address them. And that was what really set him apart; his kept promises. He addressed every concern I had and made sure that I was happy with the final result. Fence and Deck Connection is a company I wish every company would aspire to be. At the end of the day, customer satisfaction is your number one priority and it definitely shows. What makes a great company is the people that make up that company, and both you (Steve) and Mike were second to none.

Called to schedule a consultation and was told they don't build screened decks in PG County because of the permit process, however I only called because there was a recent review from a customer in PG County getting a screened in deck, so I went back to the website to make sure I called the correct number and although a different number the same person answered the phone, when I explained my confusion she basically said they were backed up and couldn't take any customers in this area for screened decks so very confusing and not the best first impression. So if you are in PG County try another company and don't waste your time.

My overall experience was awesome from beginning to end. Jimmy, my salesperson, was available to answer any questions in a timely manner and notified me promptly when we needed to make a change in the contract. Ben, the Project Manager, was superb in explaining the process in real time and kept me abreast of any changes with the deck and when the crew would be there. The crew was fantastic and hard working — they were very dedicated to the job and paid attention to details. I could not have hand picked a better team and they were approved by one of the most important family members, Adonis (the canine manager). My deck is beautiful, I could not have dreamed it would be this nice. The quality of care put into their work is unmatched. Thank you guys for an awesome job.

I am thrilled with my black estate fence! From initial contact to final installation, Fence and Deck Connection has been incredibly helpful and quick to respond throughout the project. I started with a request for a quote in May 2022. My HOA wouldn't approve. Jake was great about working on modifications to the original proposal to comply with our HOA guidelines and provided me paperwork to include in my 2nd and 3rd appeals to the HOA. I was finally approved in March. Stephen was great on the installation: getting the permit, contacting Miss Utility and overseeing the 2 man installation crew. They were happy to accommodate our schedule around the recent sod we had laid. The installers were careful to do minimal damage to the new sod and the garden beds. When the crew left, it looked as though the fence was always part of our landscaping. I am so grateful for the communication and expertise the Fence and Deck Connection team brought to our project! Cost wise - They were not the least expensive nor the most expensive of the estimates we had gotten...but their product was a bit thicker and better warrantied. I highly recommend Fence and Deck!!

The team Fence & Deck sent to install a fence in my backyard—an area measuring about 1/6th of an acre—were quick, efficient, and friendly. The first team member showed up just before 7:30 to start dismantling the old fence. By 8 AM, the rest of the team was hard at work. It was a quieter process than I thought, to be honest—which was great, as my neighbors work from home. They were finished by 2 PM; had cleaned up, packed up the old fence and their equipment and were gone. There were issues with installing the new fence: trees had grown into the fence path, most of them belonging to the neighbors. The team presented me with possible solutions at each point, so I could get the fence I wanted—or as close as was possible given the obstacles. It was a very low-stress construction day, and we—and our neighbors—really like the results.

I just want to let you all at Fence and Deck Connection know what a pleasure it was working with you. The entire experience was outstanding, from David King the salesperson to Tim Dennis the Project Manager to the amazing Crew/Artist that did the work! Absolutely Outstanding! I will refer Fence and Deck Connection to any family member or friends with confidence that they will be well taken care of!

Fence looks great! County was slow with permits but our agent kept us updated and installed within a week of getting permit.

I received several estimates and Fence & Deck Connection, after a very professional examination of the situation and a very clear explanation of the replacement plan, presented me with the lowest bid. Another fence company's bid was three times the cost! After choosing Fence & Deck Connection, I had two more visits from their personnel to plan the installation. When the crew arrived to install they were fully aware of what needed to be done. In one morning they installed a beautiful fence that was even more than I had hoped for. I will certainly use this company for future fencing projects.

The work is very good. Everything is done good. They followed all the rules that i requested. It was excellent from the beginning to the end. They have to come and inspect everything. It was excellent.

The Fence and Deck Connection total experience completely exceeded expectations! From the initial contact to request a meeting; meeting with David King to discuss our ideas and creating design plans; receiving CAD drawing of the design; meeting with Anthony (AJ) Jean-Louis to discuss production plans and quickly answering questions along the way; the production team did a great job on the work site everyday - from start to finish; and meeting with AJ for final walkthrough. The complete process was done with professionalism; an enjoyable experience for such a major project. We are so glad that we selected Fence and Deck Connection for our deck and fence replacement projects. We look forward to enjoying our deck for many years to come!

It went well, even during a pandemic! Everyone involved listened and helped with the project from start to finish. The deck met all our expectations. The crew was phenomenal!

If I could give zero stars I would. I contracted this company to build a $50k plus fence and gate on my property. Absolutely worst customer service and treatment I have ever received on such a large purchase. Ignored calls, emails, missed deadlines, and flat out lies written into my "account file" about who talked to me when, etc. are just the small issues. They sold me an automatic gate and keypad that they can't service and "will have to figure out who would work on that" after the gate has broken numerous times. I have had to contract gate repair companies separately after "they would check into it" and never called back. Standard fencing product is beyond cheap and breaks easily. But if you want it repaired or replaced it takes 4-5 months. Really blown away by how badly I was treated by this company. The funny thing is I need a brand new deck, screened in porch, pool patio, etc. down the road and had they handled ALL of the project with me differently they could have received my continued business. I have never regretted such a large purchase before and will tell everyone I know to not use this company!

I’d definitely recommend Fence and Deck in the future. Our experience was great from the initial proposal visit to completion of the project. Although your company was very busy, Fence and Deck met each schedule milestone and completed the work on time. I appreciated the visit by the job foreman who talked me through each step of the job and worked with me on the final configuration. On construction day the crew showed up on time, removed the old fencing, completed the new fence, and cleaned up bits and pieces of debris before leaving. We are very satisfied with the work and the neighbors are happy too.

Just wanted to let you know that we are so happy with the deck. Everyone at Fence & Deck Connection was so easy to work with. This was the easiest home improvement/repair we've ever gone through. Conducted walk-through with me to ensure I was satisfied with the install. Cleaned up before departing. Cheryl Taylorson: Delivered great news that the install was moved up from Oct 29th to Oct 21st. I was impressed that someone delivered earlier than expected during these COVID-19 times. I’ve experienced delays with most of my other projects.

Great professional service all around. Crew did an excellent job removing the old fence and installing the new fence! Had to buy and install a different gate latch as I wanted one that could be padlocked shut. Highly recommended!

Twenty years ago Fence & Deck Connection installed a long fence (about 1,000 feet) around my backyard. Twenty years later five of the hundred or so vertical posts had rotted and were sagging, and I was worried they wouldn't last another winter. When I called Fence & Deck Connection to repair the fence, I didn't even remember that they provided a lifetime warranty on it. But of their own accord they reminded me of that fact and came out and did the needed repairs. It is very rare that I have ever used a product’s warranty and never have I used one twenty years after I made a purchase. Providing that warranty and then honoring it the way they did: That was amazing service!
