I am very pleased with the project. I thought the crew was great. They completed the project efficiently and according to plan in one day. All aspects of the project were handled professionally. I would definitely hire again if needed.

They did a fantastic job. They used great quality wood and had fantastic gate designs. The crew was quick and cleaned up after them, you can't even tell they were here. I can't say enough good things about them!

We were able to adjust our plans to a 5-foot paddock fence with deck board and 2"x4" coated wire fencing with one double-gate, one single-gate, and one side of aluminum fencing and gate. The first crew of 5 came with the required building permit. They laid the posts and some of the fencing. The second day we only had a crew of two, which added an additional day of install, but the work was outstanding. The crew worked hard in very warm weather and consulted with me when there was a question or concern. They even called in to replace a fencing roll that was muddy and time-consuming to clean, rather than just install it.

It was a little rocky at the beginning with scheduling the work. Jeff quickly rectified the situation and provided a discount for my inconvenience. The workers were professional arrived on time. The work was finished quickly and beyond my expectations.

I am very happy with the work this company performed for us. They installed a paddock-style fence for our backyard, and were patient with us when it took several months to get our HOA to approve the fence lines we wanted. There was a small mishap the day of the installation, when they hit a gas line while digging. The explanation was that the contractor who came out to mark the gas lines in advance did not do a very accurate job. Regardless, they managed the repair to the gas line with the fire department and we didn't have to worry about it. About six months after the fence went in there was a storm that knocked down our neighbor's tree onto our fence. There were a few sections of fence damaged. We called the company, they came out to inspect the damage, and then the best part--since it was relatively minor they fixed it for free!!

They were prompt during all stages of the project, as well as very professional. The initial consult was thorough; I felt the information and resources given me informed my decision. The work was done on time and afterwards an inspector came out to make sure everything was perfect. A representative also followed up by phone to make sure I was completely satisfied. I see why this company gets such high marks for customer satisfaction.

Everything, from first inquiry through quote and installation, was spectacular. The salesman did a great job giving us the most for our budget and giving good recommendations on what would look best. The installation crew was very fast and built a beautiful fence from scratch that feels very solid. I would definitely use them again.

After getting an estimate from a company we've used many times in the past (Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence) for anywhere between $2500 and $4000 for a simple handrail, we decided to look elsewhere. We called Deck and Fence Connection, got a prompt estimate of between $350 and $500. Big difference for the same product. The rail was installed several weeks later-some delay due to all the rain we've been having. The men were professional and the railing is beautiful and very sturdy. We are very pleased!

It went very well...the fence section was up in an hour or two as was the new gate. Today's fix of the latch took only a few minutes. The fence fell last October after a wind storm; I don't remember the exact date. Today, April 26, 2016, they came out again to fix the gate latch.

This guys did a great job building my fence and my deck. Andrew (the salesman) was very helpful along the process. Great customer service from each representative of the company.

I was very happy with the crew and the job that they did. They were very courteous and picked up after themselves. If I have more fencing work, I will call them again. They had more people come out then I thought. They were very hands on.

Within a few hours of requesting an estimate through Angies List, we were called by a bubbly young lady who set us up for a few days later. Then that was followed up by a confirmation email. The day before the estimate was given, the estimator called to confirm. He was supposed to arrive at 10:00 am (with a two hour window) and called to say that he was running early. WOW!! He arrived at 9:30 am. This was great!! The estimator was knowledgeable and inspected the existing deck and prepared a drawing and written estimate in a nice folder packet explaining the ins and outs for their proposal. It was neatly packaged to say the least. Once he left, I received an email from the general manager asking how it went with certain criteria. This also was pretty cool I thought. The only concern was that the estimator was interested in laying the new decking diagonally as I wanted the Herringbone style install. He insisted on diagonal and quoted such. The only reason I went with another deck builder was due to the pricing which couldn't be beat. This company has exceptional customer service and follow up when scheduling estimates.

The installation team did a great job. Fence & Deck Connection is professional and their craftsmanship totally exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking get a fence.

Everybody did a great job...While the were working the cable and internet went out, not sure if this happened because when they plug obe of the machines or what...However, the supervisor was really nice to help my boyfriend to look for the issue...My boyfriend spoke little English, but he was really patience to help him out....They did a great job, and I already have given their phone number as reference to couple of people...Thanks

We had our deck replaced and a new fence installed around our property from Fence & Deck Connection, and we couldn't be happier with the results or the process. The sales consultant met us at our home and took the time to listen to what our end goals were from the two projects. He then took the time to measure everything out and go over all the options for each project individually. There was no pressure to select more expensive materials and he really made sure that we'd be happy with the look and feel of each component. There were absolutely times where more expensive options could have been recommended and we probably wouldn't have realized, but the real goal was to make sure we were 100% satisfied. While the price was slightly higher than other quotes we had received, when we looked through the breakdown provided by the consultant, it was clear that they were doing a much more thorough job to ensure the fence and deck especially would last for a very long time. The installation process for both projects went very smoothly. The workers were professional, punctual, and worked very efficiently. They made sure to minimize any inconveniences to us - there were certainly times where we could have forgotten they were even there. About a week after each installation, they sent out a representative to inspect the work and make sure we were happy with the product. For the few small problems that we found, they were very responsive to correct them immediately. At each step, people went above and beyond our expectations to give us a fantastic deck and fence.

It went great! I called several company, this was the most professional company I ever work with. I felt very comfortable with them.

This is the 2nd time we used Fence and Deck Connection and both jobs went well. Their price wasn't the absolute lowest of the estimates we got but it was very competitive. They worked around our schedule to remove and stack the previous fence so that we were able to sell it. The fence was installed on schedule exactly as planned. The installers were friendly and professional. It really could not have gone any better.

The sales guy answered all my questions. They were the only company that didn't try to pressure me into another type of material or doing something I didn't ask. They were the only company that did what I asked.

The salesman showed up as scheduled, though it was odd that I had to sit there while he made several sets of calculations for the estimates (almost an hour, with various options in the fence). Appreciate the quick turn around for the estimate, but I'm not sure of the intention of having me watch while the salesman did the calculations. Contract was signed, and I was called with a scheduled date. They confirmed that it would be a one-day install, beginning around 8am Wednesday. Crew showed up around 9:45am, saying the "materials weren't ready." I discussed with the crew lead the outline of the fence project. I wanted to match existing fences, but with new cedar, so I showed him want I wanted. He said, "just like that?" and I said "yes." Unfortunately, that's not what I got. The existing fence is 6" dog ears with 3 inch spacing. I got 1-inch spacing on those boards. I was home and saw the error about half way through the long stretch of fence. When I told the crew chief that was wrong, he said he could take it out, but he would have to reuse the materials -- with all of the existing holes. I let the crew continue working with the alternate pattern, not wanting to start the fence with damaged materials. This design means I also get to see the metal hangers with the gap between the post and the first pickets. The foreman told me at 3:30pm that they would come back tomorrow. I told him that I was assured this was a one-day job, and I had to be at work the next day. He suggested they work without me home, which I declined. He said he'd call the office. After discussions all around, the crew stayed. At 6:30pm, the foreman told me he was out of material, so he he would need to return the following day. Again, I told him that would be impossible, and we would have to rescheduled. We agreed he would arrive at 8am Friday, and he estimated it would take only 90 minutes to finish. I received no confirmation from the office of this arrangement until I called the office late Thursday. The crew didn't show up until 8:30pm on Friday. I was assured they would be done "soon." It was almost noon before they left - which caused me to miss scheduled early afternoon meetings at work. I couldn't seem to get a straight answer from the foreman about why this variance in the agreed fence style on Wednesday. Pressing him on Friday, he said that it would not otherwise pass inspection. My fence didn't require a permit (no pool, etc.), so I'm not sure what inspection he was referring to. I can't find why he would say the originally agreed upon style wouldn't work, and, if he was right, I don't know why the salesman didn't mention it. I've also got knots of up to 4 inches, splits in the 2x4's within a week. The fence was to "follow the ground" but in one gate, with an admittedly difficult ground grade, I've got as much as 4 inches of clearance between the bottom of the gate and the ground. When asked, I was told that the pickets were only 6' tall, so the gap had to be somewhere. Again they said they could rip it out, but they would reuse the materials. On the positive side, they did clean up well after the job.

Requested a quote for a 48" picket fence with one gate. Kevin came out and measured everything up and gave us the information we needed. No hardcore sales pitch, just bottom line up front. The linear footage cameout to about 126'. Because of winter, we got what I believe was a steepdiscount.

It went good. They did a good job. They got it done the way I wanted it. The professionalism, service and clean up were all good. It’s perfect as to how I expected it to be. The price was good. I will use them again if I needed one.

They were in the ballpark with other estimates I had received. The man who I dealt with was very nice. When I initially spoke with them last fall, I explained to them that I wanted to clean out the wooded yard area before having them do the work. They later followed up with me to see if I was ready for the work in January. I had not yet had the yard clearing completed, and they offered to complete that work for me so that they could install the fence.They completed the job in about two days and the fence looks great! They are an excellent company and I highly recommend them to others.

Prompt and punctual in providing the free estimate and quote. A little slower answering follow up questions. Project start date took longer than anticipated due to two cancellations. One was because a foreman called in sick so they cancelled my installation and the next scheduled date they were a no show. I called the office to report this and they quickly sent out the crew the same day to do the job. However, it was already 5:30 pm and looked like it was going to rain so I asked them to come back the next day. I didn't want a tired crew working on my project. The next day they crew was there on time and finished the job agreed to in a timely manner. The foreman was knowledgeable and professional. Price was not the lowest. Quality is good and their warranty appears to be among the best we were offered (I haven't had to use it yet). Overall, we are satisfied with the outcome.
