Our entire experience with Fence & Deck Connection was amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. Our estimator (Eddie) was so thorough in explaining our options and asking us lots of questions to ensure he understood all aspects of our project and what we were looking for. This experience contrasted sharply with the estimates from other contractors we received for the same project, where the estimator seemed like they were in a hurry and didn't give us any information about their company, material and construction options, etc. Eddie went through all of this information in great detail, so the estimate we received was exactly customized to our preferences, down to the style of pickets in the front yard. This really set the tone for the whole experience and was the reason we ultimately chose Fence & Deck Connection for this project. The estimate was very reasonable, especially considering the emphasis they obviously placed on craftsmanship, which was something no other company discussed - we knew they would do a quality job and take pride in their work. We decided to pull the permit ourselves to save a bit of money, and the process ended up being really difficult with the county due to some restrictions about our lot. The team at Fence & Deck Connection was so communicative, helpful, and patient during this time while we worked everything out. They gave us advice on how to proceed and provided us with new drawings of the project to satisfy the county's changes. They helped us sort out the changes in the estimate and financing. Even with Covid in full swing, we were able to start the project pretty quickly. Our production manager (Bill) was super communicative as he checked the placement of flags and scheduled our start date. The installers kept us in the loop throughout the whole installation process. They verified information, asked us questions, and answered ours - basically making sure everything was the way we wanted it. They even helped us replace our mailbox. After the project was completed, several members of the Fence & Deck Connection team reached out to make sure we were satisfied and didn't have any other concerns. A week or two later, we noticed one of the gate posts had shifted and needed to be adjusted, and they sent someone out quickly to fix it, no questions asked. This project was easily the most painless interaction I've ever had with a contractor, and I could not recommend Fence & Deck Connection more!

We love the fence. We have never been able to have flowers and have lost shrubs and trees to the deer. We back to the woods. The fence looks great. The sale, prep before installation and the installation itself went very smooth!

We just want to thank Fence and Deck Connection for doing an amazing job on our new fence. It is above amd beyond our expectations. Our salesman/design consultant, Joel Lewis, was amazing. We had some complications and he was incredibly patient and helpful. Their survey group, Cloverlea, was efficient and informative. Our project manager, Francisco, walked the perimeter with us and helped us tweak the design to give us exactly what we wanted. The construction crew was on time and incredibly efficient. They were in and out in one day. They were very polite and professional, willing to address all of our questions and concerns. They left the property neat and tidy. We had a contractor in the week before the fence was installed and in passing we mentioned that we were going to have a fence installed. Unsolicited, he urged us to contact Fence and Deck Connections as he really liked the work they did. He was absolutely right, the work Fence and Deck Connection did was amazing. Definitely a 5 star rating.

Everything was explained and laid out to us beforehand. It was a simple, quick, and easy process. We couldn’t be happier with the installation. The team of guys were hard working, friendly, and thorough. They did a great job and everything was complete on schedule. They came everyday around the same time and worked until dark (and even past dark) They were very conscious and considerate to our property. It was sooo cold out when they came to do our deck (week before Christmas) so I offered daily for them to eat their lunch in our basement but the head guy said they were dirty and they didn’t want to get dust in our house. I didn’t mind because I laid out blankets. I just felt bad they had to work in the cold and then take their lunch break in the cold. I wish they would have taken the offer but the thought on their end was noted. Everything was solidly put together. We couldn’t be happier. That crew was awesome and worked so hard! They were not like your average work crew, standing around talking, hanging out on their phone. From the second they showed up until they left (aside from lunch) they were NONSTOP. Take good care of them because workers like that are not easy to come by and they are worth every penny!

Fence and Deck is the only company we will ever use for these kinds of projects. We had a fence replaced some years ago and were happy with the work, product and customer service since that project was finished. We decide to go with Fence and Deck to replace our old deck that was really falling part. Everything from the initial appointment through project clean up was done completely professionally. The demolition crew caused a small problem with our electricity, but the project manager more than amply recompensed us for it. We had a separate company remove a backyard pool right before the deck replacement. The Fence and Deck project manager and other company reps kept in constant contact with us, and were unbelievably flexible when the first project was delayed several times. Fence and Deck really sets the standard for how companies can make customers very happy.

The most professional company I have ever hired. After several estimates from other companies/contractors we were pleasantly surprised with Fence & Deck Connection. The estimate was highly detailed, price was very fair, prep for our redeck project was great. Their attention to detail made me so happy and thankful I didn’t hire one of our previous estimates. EVERYONE was courteous and knowledgeable. I would hire again in a heartbeat!

After we had our rear fence removed to accommodate the installation of a parking pad, Fence & Deck Connection installed a brand new rear fenceline and gate at the new end of our yard. From the initial quote to the day the work was done, we had great communication with them. Price was well under the quoted price from one of the Big Fence Companies and a discrepancy with the quote/final billing was handled quickly and efficiently. We will definitely hire them again!

Our experience with Fence and Deck Connection was nothing short of exceptional. All aspects of the project exceeded our expectations and the final product was even better than we imagined. From contract signing with David, to the project design and approval process with Carl, Lennell, and the production team, and finally to the installation with Eddie and his crew, was seamless. Communication was constant and consistent, expectation management was set and most importantly we understood the intricate details of the entire project. But that is not where it ended, the production crew conducted a follow up and final inspection after the project was completed and ensured that there were no screws left unturned. The patience and time that each individual took to ensure optimal customer satisfaction is truly appreciated.

Fence and Deck Connection, far exceeded our expectations. Not only in price, but timeline as well. From our first phone call to the final follow up call, we knew we were in good hands. When Steve Nehus arrived I thought I knew what we wanted in a porch. Steve immediately made some suggestions that not only change the look of the porch from, nice to wow and the price didn’t increase! We were given a bid on the spot! (Which was better than we had hoped) Steve was easy to talk to and easy to work with. Any questions I had from roof color to work schedule to questions about parking in our driveway were quickly and professionally answered by both Carl Schmidt and TJ Farley. TJ sent beautiful 3D drawings of what the porch would look like. The crew were such hard workers! Arriving early and staying late! Always polite and cleaning up at the end of the day. And when we threw a curve by asking for a gate on the porch, the one gentleman hand built it on site!!! We are very pleased with the quality and the price of our new porch. We have and will continue to recommend Fence and Deck Connection to family and friends.

I am very happy with the job. The salesperson, Kevin, was on time and knowledgeable without being pushy or overbearing. He gave me the Angieslist discount, too, which actually made the price a little bit less that the other 2 quotes I had received. Due to all the recent bad weather, they were backed up a little bit on installations, and it might be 3 or 4 weeks before they could get to me. He was right on the mark - installation was exactly 4 weeks later! While I wish it could have been sooner, it's not the company's fault the weather's been so awful. Kevin measured and marked where our new fence would be, and about 2 weeks later one of the foremen came out to double check the markings. Very thorough. I found the office staff to be friendly and considerate. Dottie called to schedule installation a week ahead, and I picked one day, only to realize a few minutes later that I needed a different day, so I called back to switch, and she was more than happy to accommodate me. On installation day, the crew arrived about 45 minutes earlier than scheduled, which to some may be an inconvenience, but I loved it, because it meant my fence would be done sooner! Jason and Daniel were A+. They were both extremely polite and communication was excellent during the install. They were efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. They even cleaned up the extra dirt from digging for the new poles. There was a third man here for part of the morning (he delivered the new fencing supplies and hauled away the old), but unfortunately I didn't get his name, or I'd give him a shout out, too. There was a small glitch in that I had ordered and paid for an upgraded gate latch but only received a standard latch. They could not replace the latch that day, because they didn't have one with them, but I said as long as I wasn't charged for the upgraded latch I didn't get, I was fine with the one they installed. Jason said he would alert the office, but also said I should call, so I did. Once again, staff was very polite. They took my information, and then a few minutes later, Francisco called. He apologized for the error and said they would adjust my bill. I received a corrected contract from Kevin a few hours later, but he said they will send me an invoice for the corrected amount (so I didn't even have to pay the balance that same day!) It was nice to deal with such an efficient, honest, polite company, and the new fence looks fabulous. I would definitely use Fence & Deck Connection again.

I obtained three estimates for a new deck, including removal of our old one (it wasn't build to code). Fence and Deck Connection was clearly the most experienced and well-organized operation, with many material choices, professional brochures, and still a competitive bid. Andrew was knowledgeable about the design of our deck and gave several insights which in the end turned out to be valuable in helping us make the best design decisions. The crew was professional and the detail in craftsmanship was excellent. Everything was very precisely measured and cut, and the seams with existing structure of the house are very tight. They were prompt to come back to fix a small detail that I found was not done properly and made it right. Also, the old deck was open underneath, whereas the new one has skirting around the base so that it made an enclosed space under the deck. There were some pavers under there that had been removed in the process of putting in the new footers, and even though it wasn't visible from the outside, they also replaced those pavers that had been removed so that's its a smooth surface for my recycling and trash cans under there. Overall, am very pleased with how things turned out, and would not hesitate to choose them again for any other projects. They really seek to make their customers 100% satisfied. Highly recommended.

Received answers to all my questions and they had ideas for things I was not sure about. Was on time and professional. Unfortunately, a few other things popped up before we could decide what we wanted exactly so the project has been put on hold for a bit but when we are ready again, we will use them!

Overall work done was outstanding, however, the sales experience was stereotypical. Chris H. was the ultimate professional; courteous and responsive....then I signed the contract. Then it was like a bad first date; don't return phone calls or emails. Wanted to have a dog run built while I was replacing 370 linear feet of fencing, and was concerned with the quality of fence because my dog is a terror. Rather than bring/show a sample, Chris just kept reiterating they used 9 gauge fencing, which may mean something to him, but nothing to me. The young lady that worked the permitting was a delight, professional and courteous. The crew was also outstanding, all in all satisfied with project just disappointed that a salesman will probably receive an undeserved commission.

This is the second time we have used Fence and Deck Connection for a fencing project. Andrew and the entire team at Fence and Deck Connection make the process smooth and seamless. They are prompt, courteous, and hands down provide the best customer service around.

F&D was responsive to my initial email request and followed-up in less than a day. Office staff were friendly and courteous. The estimator arrived on time for a assessment of job and was knowledgeable--answering all the questions I had. The written quote was received in a timely manner and adequately described job elements. The price was a bit more than I expected given the length of fence, but was not too high. Compared to other service providers in this area I contacted via Angie's List, F&D was more responsive in bidding; I really didn't have the time or inclination to constantly follow-up. Job was scheduled by office staff and installation team arrived on appointed day on time and finished the job same day as promised. I was very pleased with the quality of the materials used and the competence of installation technicians. The project was completed on time and within budget.

My sales rep was at the house on time, walked me step by step through the project and the permit that I would need. I had three companies come out and quote the project and F&D C had the best pricing and most helpful of them all. I highly suggest using this vendor.

This fence was installed on a condo unit. Joel took into consideration the condo requirements and helped with the condo forms we had to fill out. He described the different fence types and materials and pros and cons of each type of fencing. Also listened to our needs for a fence our little escape artist dog could not squeeze through. As soon as our condo approved, an appt. was made. He arrived the day before to look over the site and mark things off. It was installed and completed the next day. Very clean and neat looking. Can't wait until it gets warmer.
