The first initial meet was great but everything after that was terrible. I asked for different quotes and they gave me a runaround and they did not send me any quotes or even talk to the owner. He did not want to let me in when he did send me one quote which said one price no detail quote. It did not say what is included and what is not included. When I asked for a more detail quote I never got it. I had like 12 e-mails asking for it repeatedly. The owner even responded back saying that he will contact the other employee and makes sure it gets done. It is never been done. I wanted a more detailed quote on the different sizes and the guy did not seem bothered by it. Their quote was for $7300.

I got the feeling that this contractor really didn't want the job. They took about 10 days to come out to the house then another 8 or 9 days to provide an estimate. The estimate was a one-liner e-mail with no break-out of costs (though they offered to write up a contract if I wanted to go ahead with the job). The estimate was way higher than our other estimates so we aren't going with them.

Their sales rep was at my house within two days of requesting a quote. Kyle was very knowledgable and professional and walked me around the property to explain what would be done. He flagged our lot and requested the fence be built ASAP because we have small children. A week later, the fence was built while I was at work. It looks great. The crew cleaned up as if they had never been there. I would definitely use this company again. Thank you to Kyle and Ben!

Over the years we have self-installed 2 different privacy fences in our back yard. We realized that we needed to have a professionally installed fence put in and started looking for a contractor. We checked Angies List and decided to contact several companies for a quote. Kyle responded from Fence & Deck Connection and promptly set an appointment. He arrived on time, had brochures to share and gave us a complete quote, along with a copy of the written guarentee. We found Kyle to be friendly, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. After signing the contract, we received a call to schedule the installation within a few days. The materials and installation team arrived on time and quickly began work. They removed the old fence, dug the holes for the new fence posts and started installing the fence. They finished the job in a day and a half. They did an excellent job cleaning up our yard, raking back the ground and hauling away all of the debris. The team supervisor and all of the installers were very polite and very interested in providing us with a quality product.The fence looks great and we are very pleased with the entire job from start to finish. We will certainly be a repeat customer.

The gentlemen provided a honest quote and professional work. They provided an estimate in Nov 12 and did the work for the same price in Jan 13. The workers were professional and did an excellent job. The fence was expanded and is more secure now. I just wish I had use them to install the fence originally.

Kyle worked with us the whole time, he was very personable and professional, we liked him right away when he came out to measure for an estimate. Friendly and knowledgeable, he made me feel at ease and explained all of our choices and the benefits and drawbacks of each. We got estimates from two other businesses and Fence and Deck was the best priced, with an awesome "lifetime" warranty that states they will come out and repair panels or make adjustments for as long as you own the home. This enabled us to pick the wood fence over the vinyl and save a little money, since we were assured they would repair any damage the fence may receive through normal wear and tear. The work is done and the fence looks great, it is very sturdy and custom built on site to fit perfectly against the house and up to the other fences. We plan to use them again in the future to replace the chain link fence between us and the neighbors.

Fence and Deck Connections sent out a sales representative within a week of our request. We gave F&D the contract on June 4th, and asked to schedule the work in July because we would be out of town. The work was scheduled according to our wishes. Once the crew came in, they completed the job in less than 2 days. The fence and gates are exceptionally high quality, including the hardware. We even needed to have an adjustment made to one of the gates because the wood had swelled. F&D was out within 48 hours, made the adjustment, and it works perfectly again. We are very happy with the fence and have used our yard more this summer than any of the previous 18 years we have lived in this house!

The team showed up at the appointed time, perform the work in the exact time frame they estimated and left me with a great end product.

The estimator arrived on time and did the estimate on putting up 150' of vinyl fence in my yard. The estimate was very high compared to other companies in the are. He asked if we had received other estimates, and he actually guessed the other company's quote exactly. He said he would talk to his boss about the quote, and that was the last I heard from him/them.

He was nice enough, but his price was higher than everyone else. He was going to charge us $2850.00. We ended up using someone else. He also bad mouthed every other company in the area and he didn't seem very professional. I felt that he knew what he was doing and he would have done a good job though, he was knowledgeable.

Contacted Fence and Deck Connection in late March for an estimate for a vinyl fence. Salesman was over an hour and a half late for the appointment, but he did contact us to let us know that he was going to be late. When he showed up, he was apologetic and extremely professional. He measured our existing fence and gave us a good idea of what vinyl fencing would entail. He answered all of our questions and promised to get a final estimate to us within a day. We did receive the estimate before 24 hours had expired and it was in line with what we expected. We signed the contract to have the old fence removed and hauled away and to install a new fence with two gates. The installation manager called us within a week and we were able to schedule the installation for the next day. The installation crew was professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. The time estimate was two to three days to complete the entire job, but they were done by the early afternoon of the second day. We have a pretty steep grade in part of our backyard, but the crew seamlessly installed the fence to follow the slope. They cleaned up the entire work area and left no trash, screws or other work materials behind. The crew manager even asked us if we were happy with the hardware that was provided, because it is black while the fence is white. He offered to go back to the office to get matching white hardware for us. We are extremely happy with the quality of the product and the work by the company's representatives.

The representative was nice when he came out, but when I questioned him for more quotes - he was rude and never checked back. His prices, which were supposedly 20% off, were much higher than the four other bids we got.

The workers were so dedicated. They were experts in what they did and knew what they were doing. It was like they were doing their own deck, I was so impressed with them. Their customer service was great and even the inspectors who came out even commented on what a good job they did. I would highly recommend them.

They actually put up our fence for in record time at a reasonable cost. They got it done in 2 days and it's about a half acre. They built our Florida room. We had a boxed in room that wasn't finished, they made it into a Florida room, and we use it all the time. I give them high ratings and will use them again in the future.

The experience was good and their prices were reasonable. The problems we had with them were related to the foreman who spent most of his time on the phone and not paying attention to his workers; but the workers did a good job. They were here when they said they would be and I will use them again in the future.

Called company for estimate. Salesman came out the next day. He was very professional and courteous. Answered all my questions and concerns. He had a lot of examples of previous work and product samples. A proposal was drawn up at that time. I got other estimates and this one was about middle of the road. The company has been around for a long time and has a good reputation and backs their work. When I called to accept the proposal. Plans were drawn up by an architect and the company took care of all the permit and legal stuff. The work was started about 2 weeks later. The construction crew was very professional and efficient. The work was completed in 2 days time. An inspector from the company came out to check on the completed project about a week later. There was one minor issue with the trim work that I didn't like. After talking to the project manager, the trim was fixed to my satisfaction. Great job. We have enjoyed the deck and haven't had any issues.

They were very responsive to my request to come out and quote and their quote was reasonable compared to others. I will use them again in the future.

Long aluminum fence, over 200 feet. Almost finished in 1 day. Came out to finish the work in torrential downpour on the second day. They worked through it though and did a great job.

called them for an estimate to remove an old concrete landing in the front of our house, and then build a brand new wooden deck leading to the front door. A gentleman named Dan came out at the scheduled time to meet me and look at the project. He was nice and had some good suggestions, he told me he would put together an estimate, took my contact information and gave me his business card and...I never heard from him again. Called him later and left a few messages but heard nothing...unprofessional

Salesman was to come out and look at property and give estimate. Appointment was scheduled for 2:00 p.m., I took day off work in anticipation of visit. At 1:30 p.m. I received a call from gentleman at company stating that the salesperson had called out that day so would not be coming. I did not reschedule because I felt that I should have been notified that morning that salesman had called out that day, not 30 minutes before appointment time. Showed lack of responsibility and professionalism.

No descrepencies. Am pretty proud of the work done.

Got of to a shaky start because the sales rep initially provided an inaccurate estimate because he relied on the measurments taken by another company rather than take his own. However, once that was straightened out, I was very pleased. The crew who installed the fence had obviously done this a few times before. Not only did they work quickly, but the quality of their workmanship and the material they used, was very high.

They gave us the best price and a great guarantee. It was completed in the exact time that was promised. One section we wanted a little different and in 2 days they came back and fixed it. I would recommend this company.
