It was awful. The design she gave was nothing like the picture. It was totally unprofessional. It was an astronomically disastrous design and nothing like the pictures she gave me. She claimed it would develop into something lush. It's been 5 years and it looks barren. It doesn't resemble the instructions I gave her. Most of plants she gave me died immediately. There's nothing artistic about the design at all. It looks puny compared to the size of the house and it looks inappropriate to the design. There is no contrast in the color, design or plants to make it an interesting design. I specified that I wanted plants that are deer resistant. The plants were eaten that winter by the deer. She doesn't understanding anything about plants. What I had before from the builder was very basic but better. She even cut down the trees, she convinced me to do that, and replaced it with puny bushes. The company that she recommend to do the work was horrific. The company irresponsible. The plants that they choice ended up dying and they were very difficult to work with. They didn't understand anything about plants at all. Don't get near and DO NOT do business with her. What she describes is NOTHING like the result you'll get.

I don t remember what she charged us for the completed blueprints, but I do remember it was very reasonable. She is a fantastic architect and very detail oriented. The work she did had to include the tearing down of an old farm house and grading the ground all the while working within the area s very strict environmental laws. She did this perfectly for us and we were very happy to have used her services. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her for anything we might need to do in the future.
