I have used Chesapeake in the past to repaint my house. After struggling to find a contractor that was willing to work with us on a shorter timeline, hard to exist without a kitchen, I decided to give James a ring. He sent over a member of his kitchen remodel team. They sized up the job and once we had a confirmed date on the cabinet delivery, they went to work. Along the way, the kitchen team made suggestions that made the remodel even better than it was drawn up. And it was completed in way less time than other folks that quoted told us. They also have excellent plumbing, painting, electrical and tile professionals, all with the proper credentials, who do outstanding work. Not to mention the best painters in the area, who really are "gentlemen". In my opinion if you are looking for someone who is honest, gives fair pricing, and delivers a finished product beyond your expectations, you won't go wrong in calling James!

Working with Chesapeake Painting Company was a smooth process from start to finish. Responses were timely and professional. I was able to get an estimate and set up a date for the work within days. Payment was processed without a problem. They arrived according to schedule and completed the work without any problems or need for attention. It is evident that this business has an efficient system of operations, professional standards, and sound ethical values.

We are nothing short of extremely satisfied. The team we had Ted, Steve and Paco worked to be certain they delivered a wonderful job. Keeping us informed each day at the beginning, middle and end of the progress made that work day. The home needed a a great amount of drywall work and when you look at it know, it isn't the same place. They take care to be be certain that your property is respected in every way. The pricing is extremely fair. Without a doubt, we will hire James and his team as plan future renovations in the home.

Excellent! Even after we changed the color of one room after they started painting it, they managed to finish on the original schedule. Of course they charged us a bit more for tbe extra work and the extra paint, but the additional charge was more than reasonable. The quality of the job was very good as well.

James came out and gave me a very fair quote with additional 5% Angieslist discount. We had he come three days and complete the job. Very happy with the whole process. I even had them fix a railing that was loose.

Quite well. They responded quickly (and pleasantly) when contacted, and the price was much lower than the other estimate we received. When their first attempt at painting the family room ceiling did not result in hiding the spots (they told us to wait a few weeks for the spots to fade -- we did, and the spots did not go away), they came back quickly and re-did the work -- and that effort was immediately perfect. When they worked on our front door, one of their products "cleaned" two spots on our concrete steps extremely effectively -- so that the two spots still remain today, months after the work was done. (also - not sure that we received an Angie's List discount?)

Chesapeake painting did an amazing job on our home. We had painting, power washing, dry wall repair and electrical work completed. The team that came to our home was friendly and professional. The management team stopped over several times to review work and provide feedback to the team. We are in the process of selling our home and James was able to squeeze in some additional work to get us on the market quickly! We will ALWAYS use Chesapeake Painting for our home improvement needs.

Scheduling was easy, the workers arrived promptly at the appointed time and began work quickly thereafter. They managed to remove the wallpaper from two bathrooms and a powder room within the 8 hours of work that I purchased as a special offer. The guys were courteous, efficient, and professional.

Excellent work. Completed earlier than estimated, professional crew, started early each morning and put in full days. Lowest of two estimates obtained by about $4,500, and final bill came in slightly below estimate. Would definitely recommend.

Job went very extremely well. Chris was very helpful and organized the work around another company doing replacement of gutters. The painter assigned to our work was great. Painting was done carefully and area around house cleaned up well each night. We had squirrel damage near the roof line that required replacing some wood fascia and crown modeling. All the work was done well. We would strongly recommend this team to others.

Great Job, start to finish. Excellent workers arrived on time and worked diligently all day on the prep work, first and second coats. They cleaned up each day and covered plants and brick work as they painted. It took only two full days to complete with the 5 person crew.

They were excellent with the process, their timing was spot on, the team was highly professional, they fixed things when we weren't happy with them, the pricing was more than reasonable especially considering how often we changed the scope of work, and the space was completely transformed according to our original specs, which they helped us define so we could save money on architects and interior designers. I can't say enough really. James and the Chesapeake Painting team are the best contractors I've worked with, period.

Their estimate was significantly lower than some others I received, but James was very thorough in his estimate, so I had confidence that all the things I needed done were included. I specified the exact brand and type of painted (stain) I wanted used, they had no issues. They arrived promptly and power washed the house the first day, then after waiting a few days for the rain to pass, they started on the painting. It was a big job, but they were careful to prep every area, caulk where needed, and then painted each area with the correct color (house has three colors). When I pointed out a couple things along the way, they were corrected immediately. They always checked with me along the way to make sure my concerns were addressed and cleaned up at the end of each day. Job took 6 days, and the house looks fabulous. I also had them paint a couple rooms inside (walls and trim) and they did a wonderful job there as well. Would not hesitate to use them again (probably will soon).

Chesapeake painting did an outstanding job. The most challenging part of the job was prepping the stair woodwork. I wasn't fully satisfied with the initial work, and James sent his team back to correct the problem to my satisfaction. The quality of painting, the professionalism of the painters and their supervisors, and James' responsiveness were second to none. I plan to use Chesapeake Painting for future projects.
