Great, as usual! Chesapeake Painting Services has been our go-to for a number of years now for all our exterior and interior painting & staining, repair work and minor carpentry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had walls, ceilings and trim painted in our Master Bedroom, Walk-in Closet, Master Bath, Living Room, Dining Room. Also, trim only in entrance hall and 2nd floor hall. Chesapeake Painting Services was one of 3 estimates we obtained. The estimator was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. The proposal was very professional and the estimator was very responsive about tweaking it based on my feedback. The pricing was very competitive, especially once a winter discount was factored in. (They are much less busy from December thru February.) The actual job went extremely well. The painters were friendly, professional, and respectful of my house. They were perfectionists who wanted to be sure the job was done RIGHT. The company president stopped by twice to be sure we were satisfied. The final results showed that obsession with quality: beautiful all around! Excellent experience.

Chesapeake Painting was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. From the time I requested a quote to the end of the project was two weeks. Even though it was a relatively small job they treated us as though we were million dollar clients. We will definitely be using them again.

I can't say enough nice things about Chesapeake Painting Services! James and Josh and Jennifer are absolutely wonderful to deal with. So friendly and very knowledgeable and they really make you feel that your job is as important to them as it is to you. The painters I've had in my home have been first rate. Very pleasant and respectful of the space (they wore booties over their shoes an thoroughly cleaned the area before they left) The front room of my house is paneled in knotty pine. Hello, 1970's! The painters carefully primed the walls, filled in holes and 50 years of scratches and painted over the whole thing. They also did a great job painting the brick fireplace and It looks like a whole new room! I wish I'd called them years ago! As long as I live in this area, I will never use another company for my painting needs.

I cannot day enough incredible things about the work that Chesapeake Painting did. They showed up everyday on time or early ready to work. They were polite, courteous and extremely respectful of my home and working around me while I was there as well. Their attention to detail is unparalleled to anyone I have ever used before and they put everything back in place when they were done EXACTLY like I had it. They cleaned up so well when they were done it felt as if I’d had a cleaning service come out! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work to be done. I have already called them to come out and give me an estimate on painting my deck and foyer!

Following a fire, they painted 80% of my home. It was a really big job. Their pricing was competitive, and Chris, my salesman/project manager, was very was very knowledgeable and helpful during the estimate process. A true professional and an all around nice person. Angel led my paint crew and he was hands down the nicest, most talented service professional ever to work in my home. The paint job was perfection and thanks to him, my home looks brand new! Trust me when I say the man’s an artist. I would recommend Cessapeake to anyone looking for similar results.

They go beyond the call of duty providing excellent service. The actual painting was superb. They are not messy painters. Immaculate painters.They make sure you're satisfied. The entire experience was extremely professional and positive. The quote was detailed and I felt a very fair price. The work was done exactly as scheduled. We were actually away on vacation when the gentlemen worked their magic, and came home to a "new house". Clean up was immaculate. I was beyond pleased. Would love to work with this crew again and will do so.

Everything went great. Chesapeake was very responsive with their bid and worked with us to find replacement trim. The painter also cleaned the gutter beneath the window gratis.

I cannot recommend Josh and Chesapeake Painting Services highly enough! They were spectacular from start to finish. Jennifer in the office was so friendly and responsive, and helped us get set up right away. Josh was so great when he came for the estimate, that it felt like we knew him already. He was so committed to making sure that everything was exactly right, and we were happy with everything - he checked in several times throughout the week we had the work done, and was extremely responsive. I never had to chase him down, he proactively contacted me to make sure we were happy with the work done each day! The house looks absolutely beautiful - the paint job was fantastic, and the electrical work looks incredible. They did such a great job on every detail of our project, and I was so impressed with both how quick, efficient, and thorough the guys were, and especially how responsive and great the customer service was from Josh. They went above and beyond for us, going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I can't say enough about how thrilled we are with the service! Would use them again in a heartbeat.

"Good Enough"??!!! The job took longer than expected with many return trips. Returns to correct paint they applied joint compound (which they applied to point ups), runs of paint on the walls (it was latex), debris painted into and over the walls (including wallpaper), touch ups that were noticeable "patches", paint that bled on our new wood floors and shoe moulding, etc. They even painted over a screw in the wall through priming and 3 finish coats. We made a final payment with an agreement to an additional discount. I simply just wanted it to end. We were doing better doing it ourselves at this point. The discount was much less than the time and expense we have, and continue to have to correct the poor workmanship. To which the owner replies to me "That was on you". Yes, while the company offered multiple times to come out and correct. And the did come out, However, the corrections made some areas worse or they were not addressed at all. We had issues with EVERY room. This prevented us from moving in and we are today a month behind. We could have kept having them come out and make corrections. Our confidence in their ability to do so was lost. And the attitude and unprofessional nature of the owner secured our thoughts. He just wanted his money. I just wanted what I was told I would have at the end of our contract. Just today the latest correction they made in one of the bathrooms is now bubbling. We have not even moved in I am sure this will continue to be a nightmare as time goes on. Especially in the bathrooms. I anticipate steam bringing the paint off the walls. To which they will blame the semi-gloss paint. This experience has been a nightmare. The pictures attached are just examples. Not everything. We recently changed out mirrors and light fixtures in both of our baths. Because of the mess the installer made when putting in the original fixtures, we needed the pros from Chesapeake Painting Services. We have used James and his associates for other projects. With James and his team you never have to worry, they strive to please the customer in every way. We highly recommend them for any project from complete whole house painting, to a complete kitchen remodel, they are simply the best. They are very competitive on price and use the best products on the market to assure your satisfaction.

This is the 2nd time we've had them out to complete painting work and both times have been very pleased with the quality of the work and fair prices for a job well done. They were willing to work with a tight timeline we had and were professional at every step of the job.

Very impressed and pleased with the quality, speed, and cost of the service. In preparation for putting our house on the market, we needed most of the interior repainted. Chesapeake did an amazing job, and the process was so much easier and less expensive than we anticipated that we're kicking ourselves for not doing this years ago.

Experience was very positive from original quotes, options, and clarity of process. Kevin was thoughtful in understanding our objectives. He noted a premium materials and work / premium price aspect of their services model. The 2 painters arrived on time, put in nearly 3 full days and stayed well into a snow-storm to finish the work. We had some quality concerns after taking a weekend to review in various lighting. Josh and Kevin returned quickly to address the questions and displayed superior customer service skills including listening, explaining, clarifying and re-iterating commitment to "make it right". One of the painters returned between Christmas and New Years and did, in fact, correct the concerns. We did ask about the fact that while replacing pictures and TV, the walls seemed susceptible to marks. We later learned from a Sherwin Williams store manager that most of their latex takes 1 to 2 weeks to cure.

We just completed our second project with Chesapeake and again, are very satisfied with the end product. From the quote to the last clean up, it was an entirely professional experience. The quote came quickly, the painters arrived on time everyday (5 days), worked hard and carefully, and finished in the estimated time frame. The walls look great! The hole in the wall punched by an out of control door is repaired and undetectable. We have 2 walls very high (up 3 stories) and they completed them without hesitation. In the first job they did for us, they painted our kitchen cabinets. Awesome job! They also cut out center panels in 3 cabinet doors and installed glass with no problem. I highly recommend this company. I will use them in the future.
