Two guys showed up right on time and basically worked their tails off for 6 hours. They were careful considerate and utterly professional.

Ryan and his employees are amazing because they show up on time, work diligently and answer any questions or address concerns. Once work is done, they clean up and take trash with them. Can you believe that they even vacuum up dust? Their professionalism and work ethic are top- notch. All home service companies should adopt their business model. They are considerate, fast and efficient. Dynamite group!

It was AWESOME. The staff were very prompt, and professional. Very polite and courteous. I was amazed at their level of competence, expertise and knowledge of their craft. They came in, and were troubleshooting and knocking out issues faster than I could keep up with.. They finished all that I needed done, before my time expired. How incredible is that..?? I was truly impressed. I used them a second time, on another occasion, to install a ceiling fan, and once again, I was blown away by a phenomenal job. The technician put down tarp on the flooring to protect my beautiful hardwood flooring. Before feeding the wires thru the walls, he took care to cut nice, clean openings in the walls. (I appreciated the fact that he saved the perfectly cut pieces to be reinstall later... ) Upon completion, he did a superb job of vacuuming and cleaning up the area. He left my home as he found it. I would highly recommend Chesapeake Energy Solutions to anyone that needs proficient, lightening-bolt-speedy, service. Ryan and his crew are masters at what they do, and know their stuff.

Ryan came out a few months before to fix a lamp on the front lawn. Very professional and fixed problem quickly. More recently our house had a lightening strike, knocking our half the circuits. I sent Ryan an email at 11:00 PM and he responded in 15 minutes that he would be out the following day. He came right on time, repaired the issues that needed to be repaired. He did not have all the parts on his truck and asked if he could pick them up and finish up the following day. My family was heading out on vacation the next day and I told Ryan we could finish this up when we return. His response was "lets get this done before you leave". He went out, got the parts, returned in a hour and finished up the job. Ryan helped make a difficult time a little more manageable. Really appropriate it and highly recommend then!

Several emails back and forth to determine an available day/time but once that was resolved, everything was smooth. My appointment window was 1-3pm. Someone from Chesapeake called at 12:45pm to confirm that I was home and that the electrician was on his way. The electrician (Matt I think was his name) arrived around 1:15 and had my ceiling fan installed in about 50 minutes. He was courteous, professional, and wasn't fazed by my dogs' interest in him.:) Would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

Chesapeake Energy Solutions is my “go-to” electrical company. I was introduced to them when they assisted my kitchen contractor during a kitchen redo. I then contracted with Chesapeake to move 2 crystal chandeliers and also insert LED lighting into a built-in china cabinet. The LED lighting became a challenge for 3-way switches. I was impressed that Ryan researched different causes of the problem, which included calling the manufacturer of the lighting. Based on their good work, I had Chesapeake Energy Solutions also replace an electrical panel. Every time their work has been excellent and the men have been friendly and give clear explanations to my questions. I’m hiring them again for more work in the next few weeks.

tIt went great! Clinton Rose showed up exactly when scheduled. He was very professional & knowledgeable about all of the tasks I needed to have completed. My outdoor lights never worked in the 16years that we lived in our 29 year old house. He was very polite and helpful when I asked questions about the placement of the light over the existing escutcheon. He discussed the issues if we removed it. After replacing the 2 outdoor lamps, he fixed the outdoor outlet. He explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it and if that didn't work, he described an alternate fix. As it turned out, the outlet was screwed into foam installation. Clinton was able to fix it another way. He attempted to help me out with my unusual issue. We replaced out single oven stove with a double oven; however, I was not informed about the electrical outlet issue. In a nutshell, the stove wouldn't go completely up against the wall. The outlet on the floor was wider than the space in the back of the stove. Clinton thought through the problem and tried simpler solutions, but we realized the only solution was not doable for this service call. I will be calling them back to set up a separate call to fix this. Finally, he fixed the 3 broken dimmer switches in the basement. I was very impressed by the services from Chesapeake Energy Solutions, LLC, and I will be calling them back asap.

I purchased a $99.00 deal for 1 electrician for two hours and Angies List also gave me $10.00 off. Ryan came to our home and he was punctual and very professional. He was ontime and went right to work. After he finished the lights in the garage he said I still had time left on the agreement so he got his extension ladder and replaced both of my second story outside flood lamps. I could not have been happier with his service and what i received for my money. I would recommend his group anytime and will use them again. Thanks Angie's List

I called Chesapeake Energy Solutions and spoke with the owner, Ryan, who tried to walk me through some simple fixes, but he could tell the problem couldn't be fixed over the phone. We scheduled an appointment 2 days out with a two hour window. Ryan personally came out to identify the problem and explained it thoroughly. The issue required a part he didn't have on the truck, but he quickly retrieved it and came back to fix the issue in the allotted time. Ryan was very professional, honest, and efficient with his work. Thankful to have found an electrician in the area for future projects.

I purchased an Angie's List voucher for $99 for two hours of work. The owner called me the same day to setup the appointment. Ryan, the owner, arrived right on time and was ready to work. I started by showing him an outlet that was sticking out of our wall. He promptly put the proper fixture behind it to reseat back into the wall and while doing this explained what he was doing and why. We then moved on to my upstairs closet that had an original porcelain light fixture and was shorting out whenever we turned it on. As he took it apart it pretty much fell apart in his hand. No worries. He had a brand new light fixture in his truck that was ready to be used for a small additional cost. This required a new light switch to be put in and that was done very simply with a trip to the attic and a bit of drilling and new switch was put in. The last job was to replace a ceiling light in our bathroom. I had purchased a light previously and it was installed with ease. While he was doing all of these jobs, he kept me in the know as to what he was doing and why. With the light switch drilling in the wall there was some wood and drywall shavings on the carpet. No worries! Ryan brought his own portable vacuum cleaner and cleaned it all up! He finished all of these projects on time. Ryan was wonderful to work with and I would definitely use him again for future electrical needs.

Ryan was amazing. He was on time to the point, and he went straight to work, after reviewing my list of things needing to be done. My mother was here when he arrived and I arrived later. He was respectful to take his shoes off before coming into the house, and he cleaned up before he left with his own vacuum. He had all the tools and supplies to do the job. I was so excited to have the work done he was the perfect person to do the job. I couldn't have been happier and would recommend him to my friends, family, co-workers or to anyone who would every need an electrician. This was the first time I have used Angie's List. I was delighted all went well.

I initially called another electrician who was booked for the next two days, but that electrician recommended his brother Ryan Deshaies, owner of Chesapeake Energy Solutions. I called Ryan and left a message; he called back with 5 minutes to help me with my electrical problem. We made a same-day appointment for 1pm on the day of work. Ryan called to confirm we were still on for the appointment and indicated his crew would be at my home between 1-1:15 pm and provided details on their current location and ETA. At 1:25pm his crew had not yet arrived, however, when I called Ryan, he provided an updated and indicated their starting location was farther away than anticipated (keep in mind the roads may have been impacted by snow as well). He assured me they should pull up any minute...they did in the next three minutes. Clinton and John were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to the problem and starting troubleshooting immediately. Not only did they fix the original problems I had given them to repair, they found an additional problem on the horizon and corrected it as well. Specifically, they checked all the breakers in the box to ensure all worked properly. They did; at that point, they started at the first problem point and worked backward. The first switch was an easy fix. The second switches not so easy. They thoroughly checked all points that could be problematic and could not find the issue with the main problem switches. Clinton indicated the likely culprit was something direct between the switch and the breaker box, and to find it would mean tearing up the walls -- which he said he didn't have to do because he had a more plausible solution. He and John fixed it up, rewired to a different breaker to ensure it would work, and the problem was resolved. While here, Clinton was reassuring and answered all my questions, including how to replace a light switch if I ever needed to on my own. Between Ryan and his crew, I was more than satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship. They cleaned up any mess they made and it was like they were never here! I will definitely use them again when I need an electrician.

Everything went better than expected. I hired the guys at Chesapeake Energy based on a recommendation from one of my neighbors. They showed up on time, they wore boot covers, they were knowledgeable, efficient, and they beat the competitions prices. Can't ask for too much more than that.
