+ -1 moreAfter two months, 14 trees had died. The owner informed me first it was because of the drainiage of my yard, then it was due to the poor quality of the soil - but he repeatedly assured me in writing that we would have the trees replaced in the fall. In late august I invited him over to discuss the replacement plan. He informed me under no circumstances would he replace them as I was at fault for "over watering them". The reality is he planted them initially in as he (in writing) referred to "pools of water" - they literally were killed the day he planted them and eventually just rotted away. I triedto reason with him and split the difference of my loss. He refused. I am taking him to court and am in the process of spending more than $ 7,000 to replace what he destroyed in my yard.
Description of Work: I contracted with Bru Mar gardens to plant 28 trees on my property (6 Japanese Maples, 22 Arborvitae). I selected Bru Mar over other vendors due to their stated 1 year warranty.
