Stephen and Archangel did a beautiful job remodeling our two full bathrooms. Their workmanship is excellent. They also take a great deal of pride in their work. Stephen really wants all the details to be just right. They were here every day -- none of this starting a job, and then not coming back for a week as some contractors will do. Also, Stephen didn't pressure us to buy pricey materials (unlike the hard sell we were already getting from others during the estimate process). We bought what we liked, and Stephen and his crew did their magic. And very importantly, working with Stephen turned out to be far more affordable than the other estimates we got.

We were very. very pleased with the entire process from Stephen's expert advice during the planning stage to the excellent construction work of everyone on his team. Stephen was willing to go above and beyond to resolve the few problems that came up?we felt he cared as much about the final result as we did. I would highly recommend Archangel for any kitchen remodel.

We were very impressed from our first meeting with Stephen. He helped us in planning our remodel and worked with us throughout the entire process. The work on our kitchen began on Oct. 6, 2014 and was completed in eight days. Every one of the workers was polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. Andrew and Kenny did the majority of the work and they were terrific. They worked tirelessly and cleaned up each day. They are dedicated and skilled craftsmen. We will definitely hire Archangel Remodeling in the future and recommend them highly.

Used Archangel to tile my shower and redo the hardware. They also installed hardwood floors in the upper level and replaced all doors as well. Once again they were awesome!

Met with Stephen to go over the job but, he forgot his measuring tape. He asked to reschedule for the following Monday and he would call to coordinate a time. Monday came and went but, I did get a call on Tuesday. He wanted to meet between 6:30 & 7. So I got to the property, and at 6:50, he called and said he was too busy picking out stuff for another job.... Setting a bad precedence from the start. Not someone I want to "work with".

We were so pleased with the work that Archangel Remodeling did on the master bathroom at our residence that we hired them to remodel/upgrade the kitchen at a rental property in Potomac MD. They actually gave us the estimate while they were working on our master bathroom. Again Stephen and his crew were awesome and all the work was completed professionally and on time. Since the property was vacant I gave them a key and they were able to work on their own schedule, which allowed them to work on a local job in Anne Arundel County in the morning missing the morning commute traffic around the beltway and then work late at the Potomac property missing the evening commute home. The work done included, refinishing the cabinets, removing existing kitchen and laundry room floors (there were actually 4 layers of flooring to remove) and installing a new tile floor, Installing new appliances, granite countertop, sink, and custom backsplash, installing new deep sink in laundry room and painting kitchen and laundry room. Everything went smoothly, they even replaced the old plastic water line to the refrigerator with a new stainless steel one and relocated an outlet since the previous double stove was replaced with a single stove and microwave. It was great to have these professionals there while I was updating the rest of the house prior to putting it back on the market, their knowledge and assistance was very helpful with several DIY jobs I was completing throughout the house. I will most definitely hire them again for all my contracting needs.

Stephen Lorditch and his team at Archangel Remodeling did an excellent job! All team members are very professional, courteous and tidy. Stephen and Andy are exceptionally skilled contractors and Stephen is also a great designer and artist. The process started when Stephen and an assistant visited our home, took measurements and provided an estimate with detailed drawings. He recommended dealers for our tile and granite. We visited both of them and ordered our tile and granite based upon his recommendations. Stephen also accepted delivery of our vanity which we had ordered from Home Depot. The actual timeline for project completion was extended due to an unanticipated family emergency and the Thanksgiving holiday. Once the team was back on the job, they worked tirelessly to ensure the rennovation was completed to our expectations. Stephen and his crew always arrived on time and meticulously cleaned up prior to securing for the day. His work is top notch and very professional! We already have plans to engage them for another bathroom renovation at our home. I most strongly recommend you consider Archangel Remodeling when acquiring quotes for work in your home.

Removed carpet and installed hardwood floors in one day. Worked around my schedule to provide estimate and assisted me in picking out wood by visiting stores with me. Gave me all the options for underlayment as well as the benefits of each. Made recommendations that actually saved me money. This is the 1st of many projects I used Archangel for since purchasing a fixer upper in 2010.

This is the 2nd time I used Archangel to work on my home. I live in a split level home and the lower level was pretty cramped. To create more living space Archangel knocked down the existing wall, installed a new beam to support the structure, and built a new wall about 10 feet back. This added about 120 Sq Ft of living space to my lower level. They also installed new storage in the laundry room to make the smaller space even more functional than it was before. They also remodeled the powder room in the lower level. Installed tile flooring, new vanity, new mirror, new lighting fixture, new toilet. Even installed a really cool mini door that is the access to my crawl space (imaging a normal 6 panel door, just cut down to half the size). Archangel doesn't just do the job you ask for. They also take the time to think out other ways to improve your homes functionaliy within a budget. They are really great and easy to work with.

I purchased a 3 bed, 1.5 bath in 2010 with the plan to always add an en-suite bathroom to the master at some point. Over the years I saved up enough money, partially due to the money Archangel has saved me in other projects, to finally complete the job. Archangel took an existing walk in closet and turned it into an awesome master bath. In addition, they removed and rebuilt a couple walls to steal space from a large 2nd bedroom to create a new walk in closet for the master. They also build a new closet for the 2nd bedroom without making that room seem any smaller. My home is now a 3 bed, 2.5 bath and this 12K investment improved my homes value by almost 30K. It improved my homes value so much that after a new appraisal I was able to have the PMI removed from my loan saving me almost $150 per month. Entire project took about 5 days, Mon-Fri to complete.

Once again went above and beyond in assisting me with ideas for my kitchen. They installed tile, new backsplash, and installed new granite. They also helped me search for great deals on stainless steel appliances. Took about 3 days from start to finish. Couldn't be happier with the results. Received multiple quotes for the exact same project from other contractors and Archangel was $1,000-$2,500 less. Won't even both getting other quotes from anyone but Archangel anymore.

Stephen the owner of the business came out to give us a quote a month before we had the work done. He went personally to Lumber Liquidators and took pictures of different flooring and emailed them to us to help make it easier for us to pick out the exact flooring that we liked. We had to special order the flooring so once it came in his workers delivered it to our house and carefully placed all 35 boxes of wood in our house. From start to finish it took a total of 5 days for them to install the wood flooring. They were thorough and did a very good job. They made sure the installation was done to perfection and Stephen was with the workers the whole time they were here helping out with the job. We plan on using this company in the future!

I am extremely pleased with their service. They did a fantastic job. They were professional and prompt. They took a 1970s bathroom and turned it into something extrordinary. They are skillful craftsman and I would definately recommend them. My husband was also very happy and he is definately hard to please.

Steven Lorditch and crew were wonderful. They took ownership of the job and made great suggestions when I faltered in what I really wanted. They were punctual, very meticulous about leaving my home as they found it every day; they completed the job when they said they would at the price agreed upon. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them this winter at my beach home. A great find!

Front to back the job went smoothly. They were courteus, efficient, and I can now say after several months, the roof has been properly repaired. No more leaks. They did a thorough job cleaning up. Definitely would hire them again.

Archangel remodeling made the quote and design process very easy for us. We were planning on a budget and honestly were not sure exactly what we wanted. They helped us pick out our tile and other material for the job and kept us within our budget. During the renovation their crew showed up on time every day. They made it a height priority to keep our house clean during the renovation. Including tarps over our floors before they started each day. As far as the finish product, everything turned out better than we could of ever expected. We loved their attention to detail, we plan on using their services again, and we would recommend them to anyone.

Archangel Remodeling is outstanding. The crew was professional and courteous. They cleaned-up after themselves everyday and they did a great job.

The owner came to give us an estimate and gave us a folder with his licensing and insurance information. He worked up an estimate and an approximate start date. On the start date they arrived promptly at 8 am and began laying tarps to protect the rest of my floors. The project took 4 days to complete which was the estimate. Each day they cleaned up at the end of the day and arrived promptly the next morning. They were very detail oriented and because we were having tile floors put in, they helped us to come up with a pattern that was pleasing and looked beautiful. When unexpected things came up as they do with this sort of project, they were explained in detail and taken care of. The work was completed on time and was beautifully done. We could not be happier with the service we were provided and we will definitely be recommending them to our friends and neighbors as well as using them again in the future.

I cannot say one thing that I do not like about Archangel Remodeling. They're on time, courteous and they clean up. He considers any suggestions that we talked about prior to the project but he may think of a better idea or something that may look better, I like that he takes his time or even changes out materials if it's something that we talked about that he feels will look better. He's never taken a shortcut. For example, we were two boards short after a measurement for a 15x15 deck. He could have cut it 6 inches shorter at the end. But, we wanted 15x15 and the railings would have been off a couple of inches. I think another contractor would have done that and said, "To heck with the owner, she'll never know." But now we ordered another two boards to get it done right. I had not found anything that he's dishonest about. Obviously materials are really expensive, and of course, labor is too, no matter where you're at. He's always followed through with every step of the way. If he feels that maybe this will be better or what have you, either I take his advice or don't take his advice, he'll still give it. He gives me an idea of a different aspect when I look at things. I think other contractors would say: "This is what you like, this is what you're going to get. I'm not going to waste time talking to a customer to talk to her about changing things. I just want to get the job over with." I feel with him, he stops and looks. It's not just a deck. He's done two of my bathrooms and he also did some work in my basement. This is his fourth job within a year. His price is in line with everyone else. He's not any higher, but he's not lower.

The quote was for $6,000. He was really nice and everything was very professional. But I had a member of my family that was pretty much able to do it at cost so I went with them.

He was referred to us by a neighbor and he did a great job. He did an excellent job in the tile work. We had a surround with our tub, with our shower and with the decorative tile. Even the people who came over to my house complimented on his tile work. I am extremely happy with it. It was him and another helper that they introduced me to and I felt comfortable enough to leave my house and run an errand. I didn't have to watch over them all the time. I felt, after a while, of course not the first day or two, but after a week, comfortable enough to unlock the house for them and run a couple errands and then come back.
