The process went extremely well. Pressure washing only took half a day. A few days later, a painting crew completed all the work in three days. The three man crew was very careful and detail oriented. There was not a piece of trash or a spot of paint anywhere when they left. The house and steps look great. They prepared all the surfaces very carefully. they even washed some of the windows and doors! They removed all the downspouts, and painted behind them, which was never done before. I am very happy with their service, and would use them again in the future.

Perfect! They were able to begin within a couple of days and were punctual. Finished the job within a week. This was a pleasant experience compared to what my experience has been in the past with contractors. Painters, foreman and supervisor worked as a team and did what we wanted without question. We will probably need some interior painting completed in the future and I would hire them in a minute!

We just closed on our new home and wanted some painting done before we moved in. Annapolis Painting provided the best quote for our time constraints. The wallpaper removal was done promptly and professionally. They were able to get a painting crew in after that and take care of the rest of the work. Overall we're very happy with the work done.

I had a bathroom and a bedroom painted. All the painting was very professional and they were prompt and professional. I loved the bathroom but the bedroom paint color I hated! My own fault but I didn't think the paint was quite well matched to the swatch I had used.

We had a few bumps along the road but they seemed to be resolved satisfactorily along the way. Since the estimate was lower than the other painters' estimates and they have positive comments on Angie's List, I decided to hire them. The jury is still out for me as to whether or not I would hire the company again. I will keep you posted. There were some minor communications issues that were resolved and a minor issue or two involving the powerwashing. But, overall, I was pleased with how well the house looked when the power washing was completed. My main concern is how well the paint job will hold up over time. However, Rob, the owner, assured me there is a 5 year warranty on the workmanship against peeling. My main concern is that the house was painted approximately one month ago and there are already signs of peeling and cracking of the paint in the front of the house by the front door, which is most visible to me whenever I am entering my home. Unfortunately, my home was painted during our very hot spell...high temperatures and relatively high humidity,I.e., 88 degrees and 70% humidity. The manufacturers recommendations indicate optimal conditions are from 40 to 80 degrees. Also, the paint should be allowed to dry for a minimum of 4 hours between coats...longer when more humid conditions exist. My painters did two coats on the entire house in 4 hours, so it is obvious the manufacturer's recommendations were not followed. In addition, they sprayed the house rather than brush or roll the stain on. Although spraying is an acceptable practice, both the manufacturer's recommendations, and other painters' blogs, indicate that if the paint is going to be sprayed, then the painters MUST back brush the sprayed area to ensure proper permeation and adhesion of the stain into the wood. Since I was home during the entire process, I can unequivocally say that was not done. I did bring this concern up to Rob, the owner, who told me not to be concerned, they are only recommendations and I have a 5 year warranty. Personally, I got the impression he wanted his painters to get the job done and move on to the next customer rather than ensure the painting was done properly and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and in accordance with the industry's best practices. I believe my house needed more prep work than anticipated, so that caused some delay. Also, there had been delays because of weather. But, I was not in a hurry...I just wanted the job done right. Other than that, I was very satisfied. The painters particularly were very professional and respectful of me and my property.

They showed up on time and they were professional. They also cleaned up very well after the job was complete. They were able to get the job done in a timely manner. They were here every day for 2 weeks working. I am very happy with the outcome of the job. The Kitchen, dining room, 1 bedrooms, 2 bathroom all had wallpaper removed and painted. Which was quite a job because the wallpaper had been glued on. Basically all those rooms took 4 coats of paint. They also repainted my foundation around the outside of my home, repaired some wood on the porch and repainted the entry at my back door. I am quite happy with all their work and will use them again in the future.

We had scheduled our work to be done on July 22. However, we got a call early on Wednesday (July 10) saying they would have a crew out the next day to do the work. We said OK and a three person crew arrived on time the next day. After showing them what walls needed to be touched up with plaster (due to cracks in the wall from ageing) the plasterer got to work and one of the other workers began prepping the areas to be painted. They did not have the paint when they arrived and the third worker left to get the paint. During this time the plasterer did an excellent job of patching up the cracks and helping to prepare the area for painting. Once the paint arrived, it did not take long to paint the bedroom and the three walls of the living room. Not only did they do a great job of painting/plastering, but after picking up all their drop cloths and plastic coverings, they vacuumed the entire work area and left us the remaining paint. The overall grade of "B" is because we did have some communication problems between the company and us at the beginning of this project, and the fact that the painters did not have the paint when they arrived.

We needed the work done asap. Patrick responded to our voicemail quickly, arriving to do an estimate the next day. The prices were very fair, and the estimate included different levels of work, depending on our final decisions regarding how much was necessary. We scheduled the painting and wash for early the following week. Ivar, the interior painter, was terrific: professional and careful, and he worked at a pace that allowed us to finish it all on schedule. The power wash cleaned up bricks and siding beautifully; even the windows ended up clean. Initially, there was some confusion about the final invoice and billing, probably because I had revised the final job at the last minute. Both Patrick and Rob (the owner) responded to phone calls, and the problem was resolved immediately.

Victor's crew was here for about a week. They were very careful and professional -- I would ask for them the next time I want some interior painting. I am very pleased with the results.

It went very well. It took a while to get our quote initially, but they worked with us on the price and scheduled the work quickly.

They're going to do another job for me. I was very pleased with them. Their prices were reasonable. Their workman was clean, neat, prompt and on time. He did a very good job. I would give them a very high rating. They were upfront with me on everything. We had a little complication but they told me in advance what it would cost to take care of it. They took care of it. It was a little more than I thought it would be but it wasn't their fault. It was just a slow process. I accepted their estimate and what they did. They did a very good quality job. They were very responsive. I was very pleased with the work that they did. I would recommend them.

I have used Annapolis Painting for quite a few jobs of all sorts (painting, carpentry, tiling), both interior and exterior, for many years and have always been pleased. I feel I can rely on them to do good work, on both large and small jobs, at a reasonable price.

They are a great company. I really liked when the estimator came out, he gave me a price and offered a $200 discount because I am a returning customer. They prices are fair and consistent. They also try to send the same worker out for each additional job to build a relationship with the painter. I am very pleased with their service.

Very pleased with APS! I was in a situation where my previous painter got sick/MIA and my house was 1/2 prepped/painted and in complete disarray. Since I didn't know if or when the original painter would return I joined Angie's List and looked for a review of painters in my area. After reading several positive review of APS, I called them mid-day Friday, Rob Bontempo came out to my house that afternoon, gave me a quote which I accepted, and the crew showed up on Monday morning. He sent an additional crew and by Tuesday afternoon the job was completed! They did a professional job and I would hire them again. Using the Angie's List 10% coupon made the experience all the better.

The finished work required repainting the entire bathroom. The work was done on time and the team of painters were careful on that wet day to protect the carpet and clean up neatly and more than expected including the water stains running down the shower wall. I really valued that they had a knowledgeable and caring person to answer calls and questions. I would use them and recommend them.

It went excellent. My mom is 100% satisfied and would recommend them everyone.

After living for several weeks with the color on the bench/step that runs the length of the living room, i decided that it just didn't work. APS ended up painting the bench 3 times until we arrived at just the right color. I'm sure this must have been frustrating for them, but you would never have known it by their demeanor. Professional and courteous all the way. Thanks guys!

I find this company to be really good ! They seriously care about the quality of their work. I've had 5 of their painters here, and they were all professionals. They are very concerned about keeping the job site straight, and thoroughly cleaning up after every day's work. I'm going to have them paint my garage next week, and I feel certain they'll do an excellent job.
