After I paid $100.00 for another electrical company to come out and tell me my old Hunter Ceiling Fan could not be repaired. I called NB Electrical and Mr. C. Bullock came out and proved the other company wrong. He was very professional and polite. After troubleshooting fan and realize a part (control module) needed to be ordered I ordered the part and called him when the part came in and he immediately followed up and installed it. Going forward I know who to call We were very pleased with his service. JOB WELL DONE!!
Description of Work: Repaired an old Hunter Ceiling Fan in master bedroom. I was told by another electrical company that it could not be repaired, so I would have to purchase a new fan. That electrician made the assumption without taking fan apart. I decided to get a second opinion, so I called NB Electrical. Mr. Bullock came out took it apart and analysis what needed to be done. My ceiling fan & lights are working with a new remote. Extremely pleased with his service.

Mr. Bullock came three times to look at the electrical work I needed done. The work consisted of installing four Ring Flood Lights, Ring Doorbell, dimmer switch, install one outlet, repair to two outlets. He gave me a price that included a discount. On service day he came late. One of the outlets he assured me he could repair, he gave many reasons why he thought I shouldn’t get it repaired. I sensed he did not want to do the outlet. I told him not to do it, we can take it off the bill. He then said he was hungry and wanted to get something to eat. Before leaving, he asked what I had planned for the day. I told him, nothing other than getting the work done. He returned almost three hours later. During the time he was gone, he called from HomeDepot. He had to also get supplies because he didn’t have what was needed to do the work. Mr. Bullock later came in to tell me he had to do some unforeseen work (run wires for the Ring Lights and install electrical boxes for the lights) he was charging me more. I could give him the discount back and still pay him for the outlet he was not repairing. We went back and forth. He said because of the way his contract was written, he could charge me more. I agreed to give him the discount back to get this over. He did not have time to finish the doorbell nor start on the other outlet. I later thought about his business ethics and practice. I called him to let him know I didn’t want the other outlet done. After he finished the doorbell he informed me he expected all the money quoted that included giving him the discount back and the cost for the two outlets he didn’t do. I told him I would give him the discount back but wasn’t paying him for work he didn’t do. I offered to give him that payment. He refused it and said he would take me to court and charge me 10% for everyday he did not get payment. He proceeded in sending two invoices from Square in my email every day. He called me a week later. It was obvious he had me on speaker, asking if I received the invoices. I told him I was sending him a certified check for what I owed him and asked him not to email, call, or text me again. He said the invoices will keep coming until I pay him what he asked for. I sent him a certified check in the mail for what I felt I owed him, excluding the two outlets, including the discount.
