+ 0 morecontract between Myself and Deck N Things (Bill or Clara Meredith) will be terminated as of Tuesday 17 August 2010. As you know, we entered into a contract for a Deck Construction on 22 May 2010 with a project completion date of 29 June 2010. As of 16 July 2010 Deck N Things LLC (Bill and Clara Meredith) has only completed 25% of the deck project to date. In addition, Deck N Things LLC damaged existing property, (dry well) which must be repaired before deck can be completed. I have contacted Deck N Things LLC via mail, email, and telephone in an attempt to resolve the problems and complete the deck, but have been unsuccessful. I contacted Deck N Things (Bill and Clara Meredith) an informed the company they where in breach of contract. Therefore I am requesting that you grant me a full refund for all labor paid to this point ($2020.00) to repair the damages caused by Deck N Things and complete unfinished work to deck. If full refund is not received within 7 days, legal actions will be taken.
Description of Work: Deck-N-Things has not completed the contract services that were entered into on May 22, 2010 to complete a deck at my home located at , Waldorf MD. I have been in contact with your company on a daily to weekly basis concerning the progress and completion of the deck. To date, the installation has surpassed it contracted completion date (29 June 2010), by 8 weeks. During this time I have received conflicting reports concerning matters dealing with the deck. I have also been contacted (Charles County Government) on two occasions concerning violations that were incurred while attempting to install this deck one for no permit and a second one for damage of my stormwater Management System.
