The owner rushed the order for my french doors (without charging me extra) in order to have the work completed before my holiday guests arrived. The guys who performed the work showed up on time everyday,worked hard and did a wonderful job. Honestly, you cannot tell that the door was not part of the original design, built with the house. No visible seems on the drywall work. They painted the wall the same exact color as the adjoining walls and hallway, so it blends in perfectly. I could not be more pleased. I will definitely use America's Best for future work and recommend to family, friends and coworkers. The owner came by after the job was complete to pick up materials left behind, to see if we needed anything else and to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We were! :-)

Look no further, America's Best is the contractor to hire. I've dealt with many contractors when building our house, and have never had such a positive experience. They won't be the cheapest contractor you'll find, but you sure get what you pay for, they do not compromise on quality. Their professionalism and attention to detail is astonishing. They went way over and beyond what they had to do. Travis tirelessly fought with our insurance company (who was trying to get away with a quote that was half what it would cost to do the work). Javier managed the job site and ensured that everything was up to his very high standards, and that we were happy. Several trees fell on our house in a storm, breaking the bay window, damaging the roof, and crushing the fascia around our turret entryway . The roof needed repair, the window needed to be replaced, the fascia rebuilt, and the ceiling patched and repainted. Our house is a challenge to work on. It is a steel frame house with stucco exterior, in English cottage style that includes very steep roof, round turret, and some odd ceiling angles. Repairing the roof was a challenge, with 45 degree roof angle and spray foam insulation that acts like glue. They did a great job. The fascia on the turret was a custom job, they matched the old fascia and made it look great. Fitting the new window into the frame was also a challenge because our previous contractors had not built the frame squarely, and Javier wants it to be absolutely perfect. The frame they were fitting it into is steel. They took a lot of time to contour the wood window to hide the imperfect frame so it looks nice and square. Every minor crack in the entire ceiling (great room with 20' ceilings) was meticulously patched before they painted it. They touched up our beams while they had all that scaffolding up, and offered to replace bulbs in the chandeliers. And every night they cleaned everything up before they left. Really, you can't do better than these guys. They are the best.

Overall it was an excellent experience. As I stated, Brian arrived according to our scheduled. He is an expert in carpentry work; he provided a sketch of the design and he followed up with me after working the cost estimate. This visit was basically a fact finding meeting. Because there was no contract involved, my request was satisfied.

When I reviewed the 5 estimates that I had received from other contractors on Angie's List, I decided to go with ABHI because of the in-dept explanation of the work they would be performing and because their estimate was in between the lowest and the highest. The work was completed in a timely, quality and professional manner. The painters were neat and cleaned up and put everything away when they left for the day. This was greatly appreciated as I was living in the house as they were painting. In addition to painting, I contracted ABHI to put casings around all of the windows in my house on the basement and main floor windows. They did an excellent job and the casings were perfect on all 11 windows. I believe the 2 guys who did the painting must have taken pictures of the items, furniture included, that they moved to paint because everything was put back in place exactly how they found them. Painting one of the downstairs bedroom closets was not included in my estimate. It took me a couple of days to realize that they had painted the closet by mistake because all of my clothes, shoes, bags and items in the closet had been placed back in their exact locations. They also removed and replaced several doors and door locks (not included in original price; had to pay extra). The doors fitted perfectly and the locks also worked perfectly. In addition, they had to move my king size bed out of the downstairs bedroom to paint. When they put the bed back in my bedroom they made up the bed. Can you believe it and did a great job making the bed back up. If you need a paint contractor who will respect your property as if it was their own, and if you plan to continue to live in your home while it is being painted, ABHI is the company for you. I was so pleased with the excellent quality of work that I have contracted them to gut and remodel both my 1954 kitchen and (pink) bathroom. Once that work is completed, I plan to submit a report to Angie's list as to how the remodel went.

They came out and looked at it. They never called me back so I was never able to get the work done. We have since spoken and I now have a better understanding of what took place.

They were very professional. They did quality craftsmanship and were easy to work with.

I didn't go with them because they don't carry the brand I became interested in. They do carry a variety of other brands and are pleasant to work with. His prices seemed fair as well. I'd like to commend Jim for helping me. He is the one who gave me my estimate and he helped me when I went to the show room.

I contacte this company on Monday, 9 July. Their representative came the next day. Inspected the work I wanted done, then showed me his samples. After agreeing on what materials I wanted, he provided me witha reasonable cost. I informed him I woluld get back to him after I had received another estimate.

He was very professional. Workers were prompt and did work in about a week. He was always available to talk with.

He started on a Monday morning and was finished by Friday night. Unbelievable! He even installed the microwave above the stove for me and repaired some drywall damage I had from a previous plumbing problem. I have never dealt with a contractor that did what he said he was going to do and in the time he said he would do it. That says it all!

They were supposed to come to my home for an evaluation and then an estimate. I waited the whole day for them. I could not get a hold of them all day. They even offered to be here earlier than I needed them to be and they still did not show. They were also unprofessional on the phone with me.

ABHI inc was excellent. They treated me with respect and were clear and concise about what they were doing to my home. After an excellent job with the siding and the windows for my home I needed to have my bathroom remodeled and after several disappointing and stressfull visits from other contractors I decided to go with ABHI inc again. They went above and beyond and made me feel like i had made the correct decision. I plan on using them again.

Best company I have used to date. Will use again.

I called Javier at ABHI because I had worked with him in the past. Back in 2007 Javier worked for America's Best Kitchen and Bath which has now become America's Best Home Improvement. In 2007 Javier Hernandez and his partner Marlon Duran remodelled my kitchen, they were the best contractors I have ever spoken with! I still love the work done on my kitchen. Recently I recommended them to a friend and thus found out that Marlon has left ABHI and that ABHI now did much more than kitchens. My friend had Javier lead a large renovation at her house and also loved working with them so I called him about my doors. The work took 2 and a half days. The guys put plastic sheeting or tarps down in all work areas and cleaned up when they left each day. Most of the time Javier was not on site but he left Herbert in charge and Herbert was also very good to work with, he listened to my comments and questions and answered everything right away or as soon as he could get an answer if he had to check with someone else. The team stayed late the second night to try and finish in 2 days but was unable to complete the job due to some faulty parts. By the time we discovered that the front door lock was defective the home improvement store was closed so 2 of the guys came by on Sunday with a new piece and installed that in and hour on Sunday.

Javier and Travis by far, are the most honest, professional, meticulous, detail-oriented, talented, knowledgeable, and cooperative folks in the field. Our home renovation took approximately two months, and we were so impressed with how easy they were to work with, how well they treated their crew, and how smart and organized they were about everything. Both Javier and Travis were on-site and accessible throughout the entire project. Their crew was respectful and extremely accomodating since we lived at home during the renovation. Javier and Travis have excellent/creative design ideas, and helped us with color schemes and the tilework in the kitchens and bathrooms. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship were superior. Our house looks brand new as opposed to a renovation, and we are pleased and happy to refer America's Best Home Improvement.

He and Javier were meticulous in their preparation and completely professional in their contact with me as a client, and it's obvious they take great pride in their work. The itemized their entire estimate so we could see where the money would be going exactly. Alas, my family decided to go with a contractor we have used in the past, mainly due to price. However, I fully believe that these guys would have done an amazing job--one major benefit is that they're able to do everything, from plumbing to electrical to exterior to carpet, which means that you're cutting out the middle men, not forced to hire a million contractors. Call these guys. I don't think you'll be disappointed in getting their opinion.

We received estimates from a few window companies and decided to go with America's Best Home Improvement. Travis was great to work with, he worked around our schedule and matched or beat the price of other window companies and best of all we were not pressured in any way. We knew we were not financially able to get the windows for another 2 to 3 months so we made our initial deposit, the windows were ordered and custom made and Americas Best waited to do the installation when we were ready. They requested a 30% deposit which was impossible for us to pay. I told Travis I could not afford that much of a deposit and then told him what I could put down. Thankfully, this did not cause a problem and we put down a deposit that was financially feasible for us. We got a call when the windows were in so we could schedule the installation date. I scheduled the installation for three weeks later. Americas Best worked with us to achieve our goal of putting energy efficient triple pane windows in our home and we are incredibly pleased with the whole experience. The windows look wonderful!!!!

We did not have any complaints and we had them do two more handyman jobs later. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and did everything you expected out of them.

Absolutely wonderful experience dealing with ABHI. Started when their sales representatives came out to visit. They were very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and what were the best roof shingles to install on our roof. On installation day the installers thoroughly explained what the process was and then they stripped off the old shingles and installed the new ones all in one day. They then did a superb job cleaning up my yard and deck almost to the point that you wouldn't have even known they were there that day. The icing on the cake was when the President Javier came out to inspect the job. Anytime you can get the President of the company to come out and do the final inspection you know you are dealing with a caring contractor. I would highly recommend ABHI for your home improvement jobs. If you are a member of the military please let them know and they will take care of you.
