This company appears to be a fraud/scam They take payment from you then never provide service or respond to incalls/emails/texts. They have also failed to respond to my BBB complaint and my banks fraud department. You will have an overgrown, uncut lawn with this companies services

I initially had landscaping done about 4 years ago and they did a nice job, with a one year warrantee on the trees they planted. I contacted them several months later to replace the two trees that didn't make it, and to change out three shrubs I didn't care for (I paid them extra for the changes). I'm still waiting for them to make these fixes. In the meantime, I signed up and paid for snow and leaf removal last year, but never got either of those services performed. I have called, and texted, left messages etc., with no response. For well over a year. My next stop will be to contact my credit card company to see if they can go after the firm to get some of my money back.

Required to prepay $269 in October 2019. As of February 2020, no service ever done, no requested refund received, no more responses received, they never answer phone. Definitely would not trust or recommend.

The company left a flyer at my door advertising its services. The ad stated that this company strictly provided services to townhomes for $10 a cut. The ad also stated that the lawn would be trimmed each cut and edged every other. The cutting would be done "as needed" every 7-9 days in the summer and 9-12 days in the spring and fall. The ad also noted that the lawn would be fertilized 4 times during the season. Once you enrolled, you paid the $240 up front. You could cancel at any time and get a refund for the cuts remaining. The grass cutting service was to begin in April; however, we decided to have sod laid and hired this company to perform this service. I was told it would be complete in 2-3 days once they started. It look over a week to get the sod installation completed. Weather played a small part in it taking so long. We have to live with mud once the top was stripped; not fun! Once the sod took (about 3 weeks), the lawn could be cut. The first cut was on May 3rd. I wasn't home during most cuts, but when I was, there were usually 4 guys cutting. They usually cut the front lawn with a trimmer rather than a mower; I did not care for this. I did have to contact the company during the summer about cutting the lawn because it was getting too long. I did not like having to call them to do their job. During the course of the contract, I did try to contact them by phone or email and usually did not get a response. I had to follow up to get a response. I contacted Mike to get a refund for the first four cuts since we didn't use the service due to the sod installation. He told me that I'd get a refund at the end of the season or I could use the money for other services they offered. I would have preferred getting a refund in May rather than waiting until Nov or Dec. I did peruse their website at one point during the season and saw that it now was cutting lawn for single family homes. I understand wanting to grow your business, but don't claim to only cut one type of home and then begin taking on new business during that season. I believe this contributed to their scheduling conflicts with maintaining my lawn. No fertilizer was ever spread on the lawn. This is disappointing. I was afraid to spread it myself and then if they were to come behind it might damage the lawn. I didn't contact them due to the prior lack of responsiveness. I recently sent an email to the company requesting my refund. It never responded. I contacted the company again one week later and it asked if I wanted a refund. This was a little confusing. Hopefully, I'll get my refund soon. On a positive note, the sod is nice and we have the best lawn on our street!! The service was a convenience to me, but the lack of responsiveness and misrepresentation of the services provided was a disappointment. Not sure if I'd use the company again.
Description of Work: Residential Lawn was contracted to cut and trim my lawn for the entire season (24 cuts) and fertilize 4 times for $240. It also installed sod in the front and back of my townhouse for $525; this included removing the old grass and prepping the soil for the new sod.

This company is horrible. I could kick myself for not looking on Angie's list first. They are liars and they cut corners. Their means of fixing my fence was to use a chain and to nail it into the vinyl with the chain still there. Also guess what the weeds are back as bad as ever. His idea of taking care of them was to pull them. The lirope that was to be planting along the front sidewalk did finally get planting after pointing it out to him , but they dug up some of it that they planted in the back and transplanted it out front. How cheap is that .$4000 down the drain. I guess I will never get my backyard like I wanted. I know for one thing,I will do my homework next time I have any work done. BUYER BEWARE OF RESIDENTIAL LAWN!!!!!!
Description of Work: He was to prune back all my bushes and tree out front. Also was to take out an existing flower bed and repair the fence that was pushing the fence toward my neighbors yard. He then was suppose to extent my paver patio to the fence. He was suppose to make a patio and walkway in the central part of my townhouse back yard. He was to fit together the pavers I bought. The pavers were to fit together like a puzzle, I had gotten them at Home Depot . My contract with him was written 5/1/13 and I was told that he would come within 2 weeks . He never contacted me, I contacted him a month later and was told 2 weeks, which never happened. I kept calling and was put off. I had given him a deposit for half the amount and he still did not come. Then one day I came home from work and the bushes were pruned right down to the ground and the pavers were scattered around the lawn with 2-3 feet between the pavers. He happened to call me that night and told me the work would be finished tomorrow. I told him I was not happy for it was not what we discussed. I was trying to make a cottage garden with as little maintenance as possible. I had had a really bad weed problem in the back and he knew all of this. I said with the pavers so far a part, I had increase chance of weeds. He kept assuring me that it would be ok for they would put down sand, dust, and stones on top to cut down on the weeds. They did not finish the job the next day, I heard nothing from them for weeks then July 4th they showed up at 10:00 am. I got busy and when I looked out at11:00 , there was no one there except their tools. I noticed the back gate was wide open, and had talked to them about leaving it open for I have dogs, and there I saw one of them laying on the hill taking a nap. All of them may have been there, but I could not see around the fence that far.i then had to leave so I don't know how long they worked.weeks later I came home and noticed that they had not extended my patio with the pavers but put down concrete slabs. I tried calling, but no response so I sent a text telling him I hated it and this was not what we discussed. He never got back to me at that time. Another day I came home and I noticed they had mulched but left many areas undone. Then I get a phone call from him wanting the other half of his money. I told him we needed to meet and go over things before that happened. We set up a time and he did not show up at the determined time and no phone call, so I left. That was not the first time that that had happened. Nowhere is finally calling and texting for he wants the rest of his money. We set up another date for which he should up. I showed him the stump that was suppose to be dug up was still there. Also showed him the area by the gate that small stones were put down only covering 20% of the area.also showed him the lack of mulch and he says to me "my guys would not done such a sloppy job, the rain must have washed it away. Told him that was not correct for I looked over the area the day they were finished. He insinuated that I did not know what I was talking about. I also mentioned to him that my understanding to decrease weeds was to place down 3-6 inches of mulch and not the sight covering I got. He said"that was a myth" I showed him the concrete slabs and he kept saying to continue the pavers would not work. There was a climbing hydrangea bush that they had not cut back at all, but he wanted to argue that they had cut it back, but yet it was still trailing on my neighbors shed. They did cut it later along the fence, but never bagged up the cuttings which is in my neighbors yard. The biggest thing was the space between the pavers. He said to me again that it would be fine.i reminded him of what he told me about putting down dust, sand and stones between the pavers and he said that was right. I bent down ant pushed the stones away and told him that was just dirt. He told me no it wasn't until he bent down and felt it. Then he said to me"they must have placed it under the pavers" I also pointed out that they did not extend the flower bed as large as it was suppose to be around the tree out front, nor did they put dirt around the tree, nor did they aerated the ground and plant grass seed. I did not have them prune the big tree out front after all, for I was afraid of what they would do. He was suppose to knock some off the final cost which he never did.

This company is horrible. I would like to think it is because the president of the company, Michael Buell, is young and doesn't quite know how paying customers are supposed to be treated. We hired this company to pressure wash the back of our townhouse and a small deck. The quote was for $190, which I thought was a little high, but the neighbors were also having their house done so we thought it would be easy to do both houses at the same time. The company never communicated with us when they planned to arrive to perform the work. They happen to show up the day I was home recovering from an outpatient surgical procedure and woke me up with the noise of spraying water. They weren't out there very long and then they were off to the neighbors house. I did not go out to check their work until a few days later and realized they only sprayed to where they could reach from the deck and that is it. They didn't clean under the windows, along the doors, nothing. I spoke to the neighbor and they had did the same thing at her house. So, we wrote Michael and he said he would come take care of it ASAP. In the meantime, the company's ladder sat on the neighbors grass for over a month and killed their grass. Michael's ASAP was approximately a month later. Again, no communication to say they were coming. The only reason I knew someone had come was because I came back from work and couldn't get out of the back door because they pushed all the furniture against the french doors. I could see the deck was wet so I knew they had come out. They did an ok job this second time around, but I still saw dirt around the windows and on the deck and along the gutter line. I was tired of messing around with the company so I paid them so I could be done with them. Then just recently (End of June), I was away for vacation for two weeks and was told by a neighbor that two other neighbors were having pressure washing done by Michael's company. They tried to hook up to the water at those two houses and realized their water was turned off. So instead, they hook their equipment up to the water at the back of my house and get ready to start spraying the neighbors house. One of the neighbors saw it and asked them what they were doing and they said they couldn't get any water from the neighbors house so they went to our house. She told them that that wasn't our problem and that they could not use our water. They then asked her to use her water. She again said no so they ended up leaving for the day. This company is so unprofessional. They advertise that they cut grass for $10 in townhome communities. They should stick to what they know. I would never hire this company or recommend them for any work not even $10 grass cutting. I don't know what kind of contractor thinks it is appropriate to just show up at people's home without warning and to use a neighbors water supply to clean another house in the neighborhood. Water is not free and I don't appreciate the attempt. Luckily our neighbor was home or we would have had one large water bill!
Description of Work: The provider was to pressure wash the siding on the back of the house from the ground to the roof top and pressure wash a small deck on the back of the house.
