PKA Painting

Job was supposed to take three days and took five. He didn't show up at all on the second day leaving my house a mess and no work getting done. After job was finished and paid for I noticed that when just a little bit of water splashed on the wall from the sink that the paint started running. No cleaning chemicals or scrubbing. Just plain splashes of water. When I called back to ask why this was happening and if he could fix it I was told that he didn't know and couldn't do anything about it. After I kept pressing and said I would complain to the BBB he finally agreed to make an appointment to come back to the house and look at the problem. Our appointment was scheduled for the following Saturday at noon. He never showed up for the appointment. My husband and I both called and left messages to reschedule the appointment and he never returned our calls. His price was the best out of everyone I got quotes from but this is a clear case of getting what I paid for.

Contracted Kenny Abrams for interior painting in my home. The contract specifically stated that the deposit of $250.00 could be refunded within 72 hours of contract being signed. Within the 72 hour window, I attempted to cancel the contract, and Mr. Abrams would not refund the deposit. I filed a case against Mr. Abrams in the District Court of Maryland and was awarded a judgment of $250.00. To date, the deposit has not been refunded.
