We could not have been happier with the service from Jeff and his crew! They did a fantastic job! Jeff was very responsive to our initial inquiry and gave us a lot of great information on his first visit to our home. He came with lots of pictures, sample materials, and ideas. He provided helpful insight into design/structural considerations which was really helpful as we made decisions about the design of our deck (i.e., he advised us to consider not adding stairs at this time, and we are SO happy he suggested that!). Throughout the construction process Jeff remained very involved and came to the site many times to check on the status of the work that was being done. When work was complete, Jeff came out himself to check on the clean up of the work area and assist his crew with removing construction materials. He was very communicative and dependable, and also very friendly and a pleasure to work with! We are so happy with how our deck came out! It was done in a timely manner and is very solidly built. We look forward to using it and are so happy we went with Jeff and his team at Homecraft Builders. We strongly recommend them!

I chose Homecraft Builders to install my deck. I love my new deck! Jeff stopped by for my free estimate. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and prepared to work with me to ensure that I received the exact type of deck that I wanted. I considered several deck installers and received estimates. Homecraft provided the best estimate for what I wanted. The crew always arrived early and worked steadily throughout the day. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Do not hesitate to contact them; you will be pleased.

After interviewing several contractors for our deck project, we finally settled on Homecraft. They were extremely responsive during the bidding process, often responding to my emails within a few minutes. Jeff also did a good job providing sample photos and materials and helping us visualize various elements of the design. We had to iterate repeatedly as we searched for a balance of form, function, and cost. They were easy to work with, and would either offer suggestions or just do as we asked, depending on what we wanted. We finally settled on a 208 sq ft structure, with 192 sq ft of it screened and roofed. Most days a crew of 3 showed up, and they started early and worked steadily. My wife was very pleased with the crew - they were respectful of our property, and kept the language family friendly (which we appreciated because of our young children). They didn't rush and did things right, and it shows in the final product. All of the design elements we asked for were included. Every night I went over the work of the previous day to find any issues to discuss the next morning, but I only had to speak to them maybe twice, and those were easy fixes. Everything was built very solidly and neatly. They clearly know their trade. Cleanup was thorough - it took me several minutes to find any nails on the ground after completion, and I only found about 3. Not bad at all, considering the amount of materials involved in the project. They also went above and beyond by hauling away a small pile of concrete leftover from the previous deck. It wasn't a cheap project or a quick one - they probably committed about 400 man hours to it in the 3-4 weeks they were working - but we are just thrilled to have a space that is beautiful, practical, and low maintenance. Our home has been wonderfully enhanced, and Homecraft gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from us.

From initial contact to completion, Jeff was very responsive to calls/emails. He came over to do the initial inspection and quote, prices were competitive. Work was done very professionally and on time. New deck looks awesome!! Will recommend Jeff and his team to any body who wants a new deck.

I had my old wood deck replaced with a composite deck. All went very well with communications, arrangement for start and selection of deck type until the project was completed. I walked onto the deck and immediately noticed at my feet that there were multiple screws that were protruding from the decking - enough to catch your shoe or worse impale your bare foot. Inspecting the rest of the deck, most screws were not flush with the surface and the decking material was mushrooming around each screw. The screws themselves looked very cheap. The screw head seemed to me to be too small and flimsy for this kind of material (Fiberon composite). In addition, the color of most of the screws was coming off and was now showing an unappealing silver on brown decking. Overall, it was completely shoddy workmanship and obviously not even close to what I was expecting. I had looked at a million pictures online of composite decks and NONE looked like mine. The next day I sent an email to Jeff, the owner of the company I believe. He was the one I made all arrangements with, and described the unattractive and unsafe finishing of the deck floor. After 5 days I had not heard back from him so followed up with a txt message. I was totally taken aback by the reply! He told me that that was not something he could help with and that it was ?normal rough exterior construction and normal. We do the best we can?. And then mentioned that ?some people have started going with hidden fasteners?. I was in disbelief that he would consider the finished condition of my deck floor his best work ? with protruding screw heads, no screws even flush with the surface, mushroomIng of the decking material and obviously cheaply colored screws. If only I had been told what ?rough exterior construction? was going to look like, I would never have chosen this company! He never mentioned those words when discussing the project. I asked Jeff if there was anything that could be done to improve the look of the floor. He replied that he had ?thoroughly explained the benefit of hidden fasteners and the other choice of Cortex screw and plugs and you said you didn't need that ?. This is an absolute lie! We never had that conversation! If we had then why did he say in his reply to my first email that ?some people have started going with hidden fasteners? instead of reminding me that we had had the fastener/screw/plug conversation! He then told me he would come to see if the screws could be made ?a bit more flush?. I told him I could not be at the house but did not say no to this effort. In the end the screws are mostly planted well into the flooring but look like deep craters with sharp edges at the surface. There is still mushrooming and overall it looks just as bad if not worse. You will not be able to walk comfortably on it in bare feet. I asked him to follow up with me by email and not surprisingly he has not. He is unwilling to own up to a poorly done job. I have no recourse in terms of withholding payment because I stupidly made payment in full before I inspected the finished work! I am an over trusting person. But never again! This whole experience has made me so disgusted with the construction business. In the end, no one truly strives to do the best they can. No one pays attention to detail. No one tries to develop any sense of esthetics or perfection. They are all merely satisfied with mediocre and finishing the job only to get to the next. I could have done it better myself watching YouTube! Be wary of HomeCraft Builders.

Homecraft builders did a wonderful job on our new deck! We now have a beautiful composite deck. Any time I had a question, it was answered promptly. They had lots of pictures of previously built decks, to help me decide what I wanted. They were professional and got got the work done quickly. And they did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. I would definitely recommend them.

In the initial meeting Marc met with us and went through all the details of the replacement process and the materials that they would be using. Once they started they were here early every morning and worked every day they could to get it finished. The guys were very courteous and worked hard throughout the day. The deck turned out awesome!! We are very happy with the end result and would definitely hire them again. Marc was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process.

Homecraft Builders is purely exceptional!! We are so pleased with the work they did. Jeff came out to estimate the job and was the only builder to bring his insurance policies, detailed photos of previous jobs, and his Angies List certificates. He gave a good price and we went with his company and so glad we did. Jeff was on site everyday to oversee the progress and answer any questions we had. Jose, the main deck builder is a true professional and takes a lot of pride in his work which is evident by the custom cuts he has made to get a tight fit around the siding/corners. It blew me away at the small things he did without us asking (or even thinking about it for that matter). Daily, he and his assistant were on time and cleaned up before they left. When we had a question, Jose stopped what he was doing and addressed us. He is a definite asset to Homecraft Builders and if you're lucky, he will be the one assigned to your job. Also, due to a recent surgery and not being able to walk, upon completion of the deck, Jose and his partner were kind enough to move my double grill and table back onto the deck. Thank you all for the excellent work performed. I would definitely recommend your company to all.

We are extremely happy with the work that Jeff and his team did on our deck! Jeff created design for our new composite deck with simple but modern design replacing 30 year old deck that was falling apart. Jeff and his team worked incredibly quickly but with great attention to detail and fantastic quality. Our new deck is beautiful and we would happily recommend Jeff to anyone.

I can't say enough of how happy we are with Jeff and his team. The most professional people you will work with. Every email was answered within two to three hours of sending it. Jeff came every day to the work site and was hands on. He treated our project as if it was his own. You really don't need to shop around. The price, professionalism, and quality is outstanding!! We met some contractors and decided to go with Jeff to build a new wood deck at our townhouse. Jeff was professional and easy to communicate with. He and his team finished the desk very quick. We love his work and would recommend him to anyone who needs to build a deck.

The company was quick to respond in answering my questions about estimates, however,the company does not perform kitchen remodels which is what we need.

Homecraft did an OUTSTANDING job in building our deck. We asked for a quick timeline to have our deck built in time for our Son's birthday party. Jeff and his crew came through despite some bad weather and we had our deck in time for our Son's birthday in April. Jeff came out every day to inspect the job that his team was doing, and constantly checked the quality of the materials that were delivered. If there was a warped or bad piece of wood or material, Jeff immediately replaced it. The quality of the construction is outstanding, and after 3 months of use there are no warps or issues. I would highly recommend Homecraft to anyone, as a good friend of mine also had Homecraft build his deck last year and has had no issues!

From beginning to end, Homecraft Builders did an excellent job. Jeff was easy to work with, knowledgeable, experienced, and extremely prompt with all correspondence. The team he sent to build the deck was courteous and skilled. They did a beautiful job building our deck, and we've received many compliments on it. I would highly recommend Homecraft Builders!

I called him again in May to get a quote on the deck project (actually a simpler deck) and he said that he was in the area and would look at project and get right back to me. I told him that we wanted to move quickly. He never got back to me until I called and emailed him. He then sent me a curt email that he cannot do the project and take him off the list with no explanation. I am troubled by his response especially since he had been the top runner in 2013. If he's ill, then he should have said so. But he just seemed to be making a personal statement about not wanting to work for US.

Jeff and his team were great. Jeff is friendly and professional and his price was competitive. When he came over for a quote although it was rainy and muddy he really took his time with us to understand our vision and give us his advice on how to best achieve it. Jeff also even accommodated a small change we requested in the design after they started. The job would have taken about a week if not for a lot of rainy days. He was actually able to start before we expected so we still had a deck sooner than we thought we would. We are very satisfied with our new deck.

When opting to demo our old deck and put a new one on, I interviewed 4 companies. Jeff was the most competitive and responsive. Our deck took just over a week and a half to complete, partially due to rain. We are thrilled with the end product. We were able to maximize our space and at a good price point for the job. The workers were extremely professional, and cleaned up after themselves daily. We would recommend Jeff/team to others and will be looking to use them again in the future for some internal rennovations. I am confident that even though the job is complete, if we have questions/concerns Jeff will be as responsive and address our needs.

From the very begging Jeff was very professional!!! He came and explained everything plainly and in great detail. He came through with his workers and they completely removed my old deck and installed my new deck within two days. He even through in a gate on my fence that was broken down and that was free of charge. After the work was done, his team cleaned up completely and that was a great plus. I can't wait to recommend them to any of my friends and family members.

I interviewed several deck builders selected from Angie's List before I selected Homecraft Builders. Jeff came out and had some great ideas on how best to configure the deck to save me some money. He didn't try to upsell me on anything as he knew I was working within a tight budget. He took care of obtaining the building permit and all of the inspections. From start to finish, the deck took a little over three days to build. I did notice a little issue with the finish work on the fascia, but Jeff was very responsive and had his guys come back out and fix it the next day. The finished deck looks great. I'll definitely use Homecraft again if I decide to add stairs to the deck, and have recommended them to all of my friends.

I did recommend them. The service was great. The guys really knew what they were doing. They left the area clean.

The craftsmenship is beautiful. The carpenters paid wonderful attention to the details, so the finishings are perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We highly recommend Homecraft Builders. We were very impressed with their quality work. Once the project began, there were occasional delays due to bad weather. However, work continued in spite of this. Their immediate response to any new requests or small changes was very reassuring and the workmen were probably the most polite, accommodating crew we've ever had. We look forward to enjoying our new deck this spring and plan to have them back for additional work in 2015.

They showed up on time and finished on time. They cleaned up afterwards and I didnt have to be home while the work was done.
