They were fantastic. They were great guys, honest and genuine. They did great work and I will absolutely use them again. They were on time and were also very skilled. The price was great and it was overall a great experience.

The communication was excellent. The crew arrived when they promised. The crew was a pleasure to work with. They did a fantastic job, worked very hard, exceeded expectations. The deck is very well built and solid.

Jeff Slutzker was prompt in returning my inquiry with a phone call. He gave me some insight over the phone as to what would be involved and answered every one of my questions. He was prompt-exactly on the dot when he met with my husband and me and came up with a few scenarios of what would work. He did not try to high-pressure sales us; we SO appreciated this!!! The work started exactly when we had hoped and he kept us in the loop every step of the way!! He also was able to give us a very decent and competitive rate since we had the work completed in the off-season. Our deck looks beautiful and I can't stop looking outside to see how great it looks!!! These guys are great!! If you need any kind of deck work done-use them!!!

Jeff and his team removed and installed our new deck. They did a great job, even with all the HOA and county demands. It was finished in a timely manner, and Jeff was readily available for any questions we had during the installation. We will be using him again to install pavers under our deck.

Marc and his crew were excellent! The work was done quickly and well, the results are gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism. The crew cleaned up everything, and even offered to haul away some other debris I had! Great guys, and I am already planning to go to them for other work.

Jeff and his crew were very professional, timely, neat, and very hard workers. They came when they were supposed to and finished ahead of time on both decks. It was a pleasurable experience and I would highly recommend them.

When we signed the contract in mid-July I was expecting a start date of August 1. However, they showed up and got started several days early and were finished in two days.

Jeff came right away to view property and talk about various options for the new deck - size, board positioning, stair width, etc. He got right back to me with an estimate. He was upfront about the timetable and pretty accurate about the start date. His crew was very hard working, rarely took a break. They even offered to work on a Saturday to finish the job in order that I could use the backyard for my dogs again. Jeff was very available by cellphone. The deck was done in record time. Cleanup was very thorough. The deck is beautiful!

I emailed Homecraft one evening and I got a call the very next day from Jeff, the co-owner, and he set up an appointment for an estimate with the other co-owner, Marc. Marc arrived right on time for the estimate and I found that he was very easy to talk to was very helpful in giving me suggestions for my new deck. I told him the general idea of what I wanted and he really helped me with his ideas. I knew that I wanted composite decking and he had all the samples with him so that I could choose a color. He measured everything and gave me an estimate right on the spot. I was pleased with the estimate so I signed a contract that night. Marc told me that it would be about three weeks until they could start the job and I told him if he had any cancellations that he was free to start at any time and to my surprise, he emailed me two weeks later to tell me that they would be starting my project on that Thursday. His crew arrived on time and began to tear down the old deck and awning. The crew was very nice and they cleaned up and hauled everything away. The next day they came and put up the framing for the deck. As promised by Marc, they were there every day working on my deck until it was completed and Marc was on the job site everyday. When they were finished the deck, the men cleaned everything up and my deck was ready to use. The concrete men showed up on Monday morning and were finished by that afternoon. They were also very nice and cleaned everything up. To my surprise when I arrived home today I found one of Marc's workers out back on his hands and knees scrubbing down my deck, he said that it had gotten dirty from the digging for the concrete and he wanted it cleaned up. He also planted grass seed in my yard. I was very impressed with this. All of the workers seemed to take pride in their work and were very professional. Marc also came to me and suggested that he put lattice up around the deck to make it look nice, at no additional charge. The result is a wonderful deck that I will enjoy for years to come, everyone that see's it love's it. They did a great job and I am already getting another estimate from Marc to replace some siding on my house.

Jeff was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. He provided an estimate the day he looked at my place. After obtaining the HOA approval and permit, the work itself took about 2 days with part of a 3rd for cleanup/inspection. I've happy with the work done and am now looking forward to getting deck furniture and a grill!

Jeff came out and met with my husband and I and listened to all of our concerns. He recommended making the deck bigger, recommended the deck color, and even where we should locate the stairs. All of his recommendations were perfect. He knew exactly what we wanted. From start to finish the construction of the deck was completely professional. As soon as Jeff received the work permit, he and his team were out tearing down the old and putting the new one up. From start to finish it took Jeff and his team 3 days to finish the job. Our new deck is fabulous. Everyone that sees it loves it and speaks highly of the skill that went into building the deck. As soon as my husband and I figure out what we want, we will be having Jeff and his team build a patio for us.

We first met with Jeff to discuss our plans and for him to provide estimate and work on a time schedule on May 26th. Jeff was very professional, vsaw what we wanted to do and showed us MANY options and choices of what would work best for our space. Jeff understood that we were on a tight schedule and worked with us. Jeff's crew arrived on June 12th as promised. They tore down and removed our existing deck and began framing the new one. They came back on the 13th and completed the structure. On the 14th, they returned and installed the underdecking. As Jeff explained, they came back two weeks later and poured our new patio under the deck. Everything was as agreed upon and in the timeframe that was discussed. Jef & his crew did fantastic work and I would recommend them anytime. Communication was constant and also greatly appreciated. Jeff kept us informed every step of the way and worked to meet our tight deadline.

Jeff and his crew were superb. His suggestions in the planning stage were spot on. The construction was professional and timely. Little touches like trimming support beams really helped the the appearance of the deck. The vinyl rails and aluminum stanchions are striking. To ice the cake I ran my lawn tracker into the trim gouging out a chunk a year after the deck was built. I asked Jeff if he could fix it and to give me an estimate. To my surprise he just came by, replaced the trim and then didn't charge me. Homecraft is one of the good old fashion companies that provides excellent service. A true pleasure to deal with.

Everything went smoothly from the initial estimate until the job was complete. Homecraft was on time for the estimate and provided design ideas for the deck. They required a minimal deposit. The installers worked long days and the project was finished quickly.

I wanted to add a deck to a house I was getting ready to put on the market, so I didn't want anything too fancy or too expensive. Jeff gave me a great price for a simple treated wood deck and made some suggestions of additional little things he could do for no cost to make the deck look a little classier. Although he was traveling the furthest of all the contractors who gave me prices, his price was the best. His workers showed up one morning and were done by mid-day the next day. All permit inspections were completed with no issues, and the deck looks great.

We were very pleased with our experience with Homecraft Builders, Inc., in replacing our old deck. From the initial discussions of our options with Mark to the completion of the project, all aspects of the work were highly professional. Mark thoroughly explained what we could expect at each phase, including all the construction steps and all the inspections, and kept us informed along the way. Crew members Gary, Joe, and Mike were polite, considerate, and a pleasure to work with. They answered all our questions as their work progressed and went out of their way to carry out the design to our specific requests. All work was done in a timely manner. Site-specific needs were accommodated, such as hand railings configured to extend down our diagonally-placed stairs and the placement of siding we provided to create a seamless look against the house at the height we wanted. Icing on the cake is a moveable bench the crew constructed for us out of the same materials as the deck. The outcome is truly beautiful. Even the inspector noted ?Nice job? on his final review. We couldn?t agree more.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Homecraft was the 3rd of three companies we called for estimates. When I explained to Jeff via email what we were looking for, he understood it completely, which is something the other two couldn't visualize. Jeff came to our house a couple days later to give us an estimate. We went over everything we wanted and he offered some suggestions which were things we never would have thought of but now we couldn't imagine it being any differently. He drew up a sketch to scale right on the spot, again, something we had to wait for from the other companies. With the Angies List customer discount, HomeCraft's pricing came in under the other two companies (also offering discounts) AND we ended up with a better design. We thought on it for a day or two and then had Jeff come back to sign the contract and give a deposit. The only deposit required was the amount to cover the county permits, all of which Jeff took care of for us. He told us at that time it would be 4-6 weeks until they got started, which we were fine with knowing that we were getting a late start on the season. Amazingly, two weeks later, Jeff called saying they were ready to get started. 7 weekdays later they were done! It would have been 6 but it rained on what would have been their last day. And that's 7 days of only a little work on certain days because of the order of inspections for the county. Overall, we are extremely happy with the deck and the entire experience of working with HomeCraft. We'd recommend them to anyone. I feel like we got so much more design from this company than we would have from anyone else at this price.

I can't begin to say enough great things about Homecraft Inc. Their punctuality, dedication, and craftsmanship is superior. Even though my project was relatively small, Jeff and his staff made my wife and I feel like high valued customers, and they were very responsive to our requests. They came when they said they would and treated my home with the utmost care and respect. In fact they finished well ahead of schedule, so I was able to enjoy my deck by the weekend. I would definitely recommend Homecraft for any home project, if my deck is any indication of their quality of work. I definitely plan to use them in the future. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and the price beat all of our other estimates. Jeff was very flexible in balancing our design needs with cost. Homecraft definitely lives up to its phenomenal reputation.

Getting an estimate from Homecraft Builders was a smooth process. Jeff provided his expertise and discussed some customizations we wanted with his partner to ensure he was giving us correct information regarding available materials and code requirements. He came across as knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, and his estimate was competitive. Ultimately, we went with another provider, as Homecraft would not have been able to start for a few weeks due to other jobs they had already committed to. We would have had no reservations with going with Homecraft had our schedules worked.

I got 3 estimates to have my deck rebuilt. This was not only the lowest of the three, but I actually felt like Homecraft genuinely wanted my business. (The other 2 companies had a take-it-or-leave-it attitude.) They showed up when they said they would, kept me in the loop on their progress (since I was at work when they were building), and did a fantastic job. Unlike the other companies I talked to, Homecraft handled the permitting for me and required only a modest deposit to begin the work. I would definitely recommend them to others and would use them again.

From start to finish, Homecraft did an excellent job. Jeff was on time for the estimate and provided a few options for building the deck. Jeff was very knowledgable, professional, and took the time to explain everything. He also stopped by everyday while the deck was being built. The three gentlemen who built the deck were very professional and they did everything in 3 days. They did an excellent job with the clean up. We are extremely happy that we chose Homecraft. We will be using their services in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I recently decided to have our old deck removed and a new deck put on our home. After having two estimates done by other contractors, we were honestly beginning to wonder if we would ever be able to have a new deck that was reasonably priced and using high quality materials. The third estimate we had done was with Homecraft Builders Inc., and hope was restored! Jeff Slutzker came to our home on a Saturday to do the estimate in order to accommodate our schedule. Jeff didn?t just glance at the old deck and then start in on a sales pitch; he took thorough measurements, listened to all of our desires for the new deck, and answered all of our many questions. He brought samples of all of the decking and railing materials he uses so we could actually see the product and make an informed decision on what we wanted (something one contractor had not done). The price Jeff gave us was very reasonable and competitive. We also wanted to have the deck completed by June 10, 2012 due to a scheduled visit from family. Jeff was very accommodating on that as well, fitting us into his schedule with an estimated start date of May 29, 2012. Today is May 11, 2012, and the new deck is already on our home! Jeff and his team started working Tuesday morning on taking down the old deck and putting in the footings, and the deck was completed (including a bench matching the deck) Wednesday afternoon, and that?s with an inspection being done in accordance with the permit. To say we were surprised to come home to a gorgeous completed deck on Wednesday is an understatement. Jeff and his team were not only fast, their work is absolutely amazing. The only evidence they were there was a new deck; they cleaned up absolutely everything from the construction. We chose AZEK Cobre decking with white vinyl rails and black banisters, and the finished deck is beautiful- there wasn?t so much as a fingerprint on the finished deck, much less any flaws in the construction or finished look. Jeff and his team were obviously very careful to not scratch any of the materials during construction and paid very close attention to even the smallest details in order to ensure the finished deck was perfect. My wife and I have been telling everyone we know about the new deck, and HIGHLY recommending Homecraft Builders. We cannot thank Jeff and his team enough for their professionalism, speed, and beautiful work, and will continue to recommend Homecraft Builders to anyone in need of a new deck or any of their other services. I emailed Homecraft Inc. asking for a quote on a deck for our above ground pool. Jeff was prompt in getting back to me via email and was on time for the appointment. However, when he got here he indicated that he didn't know we were looking for a deck for our pool, although that is specifically what we asked him to price. He spent about 5-10 minutes here taking some measurements, then left saying he'd get back to us with a quote. We haven't heard from him since then.
