Ernie came the same day we called, was on time, immediately diagnosed the problems and corrected them. He was knowledgeable and efficient and we were very pleased with his service. Would definitely hire again.

Had another plumber come to clean my drain. He said my main line had collapsed and he would need to dig up the line under my basement floor and replace the line. Next, I called Cobra Plumbing. Ernie from Cobra arrived, checked out the backflow preventor valve which he said was often the cause of backups (the first plumber didn't check it), but that checked OK. Then Ernie snaked the line. It took over an hour before he managed to get it clear. I had trouble again that night. Ernie came back out, snaked the line again. It has been 2 weeks without any issues now and I'm very satisfied.

Great! From the beginning, Ernie's quote was fair (unlike some of the other providers in the area), so we hired him -- the job was done professionally. I would hire again, and I have recommended Cobra to multiple friends.

They came and fix my Hot Water Heater and they did very will and a reasonable price. I do not know when they came and fixed the Hot Water Heat. All I know they did an excellent job!!!

I gave him a B for responsiveness due to him being late in the day and having to leave without doing the work cause he had to go get his kid from school.Which is not a big deal to us. He works very fast and does good work.

I didn't have the service performed. I managed to clear the line. The pipe is made of terracotta and Ernie the business owner said that the line could collapse if I had the service done.

I called to have a representative of Cobra come to my house to give me a written estimate for plumbing damage created by a package delivery company truck (again, not to be named here) so that I could submit the estimate to the package delivery company to get the work done. Upon arrival and evaluation of damage, the person from Cobra not only wouldn't give my wife a written estimate, but -- when finding out that we weren't going to have the work done RIGHT THEN AND THERE -- demanded that she give him $30 to cover "his gas expenses" (?!?). No quality company out there DEMANDS money when they don't get the job on the spot...don't disrespect your "potential" customer, Cobra .... and get with the program -- in this day and age, no customer out there does work ON THE SPOT just because you show up, give a verbal estimate, and expect immediate work! Would NEVER call this company for ANYTHING again...

I've used Ernie at Cobra plumbing on various occasions. He has also performed plumbing work for friends and family members who I have recommended to him. All of us have always been happy with his work.

Called Cobra at 11:45 am and by 2:00 pm had a service guy at my door! Super fast. The fellow assessed the drain issue with two drains (including shower), cleaned out the yucky gunk and everything is back to normal. Super good price $70 for first drain and $40 for second. I was quoted $250 by another Angies list plumber that morning. Service guy even looked at third drain and used his tools to make sure it was fine and didn't charge me for that one. Highly recommended! A++

Job was completed in one day, despite delay in locating sewer line. Ambiguous readings on location meter necessitated digging a second trench, when the first one was inaccurate. No adjustment to the cost was added due to the extra work involved. While I lost my lawn, the slope of the property was carefully preserved as the soil was replaced. I also appreciated the effort to save bushes adjacent to my house by "digging underneath" to reach the connection, and doing the same to preserve the sidewalk in front of my house to reach the city connection.

The bathtub was very clogged and the toilet flushed itself. Ernie came out on time and completed the job as the professional he is.

I had a water line break in my front yard. I received an estimate from another plumber that was over $5,000 and would take a week to schedule. I called Cobra Plumbing at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Ernie answered and said he would come by my house on his way home and look at the problem and give me an estimate. He arrived by 6:30 p.m., assessed the problem, explained everything thoroughly and provided me a reasonable estimate. In addition, he said he would be able to complete the job the very next day! Despite the 2" snowfall during the night, the crew arrived the next morning on time, were very professional, covered the entry way, steps, and basement floor with tarp to keep from tracking mud in my house and replaced the water line (without having to dig up my driveway!). Ernie was able to finish the job about 1 1/2 hours earlier than anticipated and did a great job!

I used this company before to install and repair several toilets in my home. Well, I recently noticed the pipe to my expansion tank was about to break. I called Cobra, and they came to the house the same day. I trust this company for all my plumbing. It is hard to find honest and affordable companies, and this company is honest and affordable. I rate them A plus for honest, integrity, affordability, and overall great customer service.

Last night we discovered water in our basement and a small but aggressive leak in our overhead copper piping. On/off for water to house was also dripping. I called Ernie first thing this morning to inquire if he could provide same day service. When I let him know I have 18 month twins and am 6 months pregnant, and that being without water was going to be a real struggle, he indicated that he didn't live far and would make us his first appointment of the day. He arrived shortly after, took him about 45 minutes to remove the corroded section of pipe and the connection that wasn't up to code and had failed (thanks previous homeowners!). He attached a new section and T, tightened the leaking area of the main supply that was dripping, and was finished. He was very pleasant to work with and I appreciated his explanation of the problem and very much his rapid response. I would absolutely call him again if we need work in the future.

Cobra Plumbing delivered exceptional service and we will use them again for our future plumbing needs. We contacted Cobra Plumbing for an estimate to replace bathroom sink piping and shut off valves which had been improperly installed by a prior occupant. Mr. Taylor met with us within a few days of being contacted. He was prompt and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and provided a fair and reasonable estimate. He was able to return approximately a week later for the service. Once again he arrived promptly and got to work right away. He completed the work so quickly we didn't even realize he had made the repair, cleaned up the mess, and packed up his tools to leave. Part of the repair required disassembling the bathroom vanity to install the fixture. He reassembled the vanity and it actually looks better than before the repair. The sink works perfectly now. The new fixture looks great and there are no leaks, misaligned pipes, or other issues. We look forward to using Cobra Plumbing for our next plumbing project!

Sent email request thru Angie's on 8/14 to have two faucets replaced. Called their offices on 8/18 when no response was received from my email and left a voice mail asking for a call back. A few days later, still without any response, I cancelled the service request and hired another contractor.

At first Ernie showed up on time for our appointment and went right to work. I had a lot done and he was breezing through it. At the end of all the work I asked if he remembered the garbage disposal. He said we never spoke of it however I had asked him to do it on the phone and knew the exact price he quoted for it. No problem we would just schedule another time. That is when it didn't go as well. I set another appointment with him for it that I had to cancel because other work was being done that would interfere. The next time I called him and he said he would call me back in a little. He never called. I then emailed him and usually he responds quickly be he never responded after this. I got the feeling I was being blown off for cancelling our prior appointment. Not very professional.

The service was super fast and headache free. Ernie did excellent work. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, punctuality, and quality of the workmanship.
