My propane hot water heater broke and was leaking. Ernie arrived a little before the scheduled time. He brought a hot water heater but it was too large so he had to go out and get a smaller one. He was only gone a very short time. The space for my water heater is small but he got it in and had it running quickly. He also replaced the faucets on a cast iron clawfoot tub. Ernie is always very nice and very patient with my many questions. I found him on Angie's List and have been happy with all the plumbing he has done for me. I will call him again without hesitation!

I contracted Cobra Plumbing to remove my old one piece shower and replace it with a tiled shower stall. Ernie and the people he brough in were very professional and completed the job on time and on budget. The new shower is constructed of high quality Moen/Kohler products and it looks fantastic. I will definitely use the company in the future.

I called Ernie and made an appointment a week in advance when my husband would be on vacation to look at some of the old plumbing and look at a leak near well holding tank in basement. We had just purchased the home and were hoping to get it in shape and have the leak investigated. Ernie called three hours after he was supposed to be here and said he would not be coming, got tied up. We agreed he would come the next day at 4:00. He called at 5:00 and said he got tied up again. My husband told him to call me the next day to set up a time when I could take off to be here since my husband would be going back to work, his vacation was over. Ernie never called again. I am very disappointed in him and used him in my other home once and have even referred people to him. I will not use him again nor will I refer him..He had asked me the last time I used him to make sure I put in a good word on Angie's list and I did. It works both ways, and when anyone does a poor job or no job, a report should also be made..

A great experience. The project required the demo and temporary reinstallation of our existing sink (while a new countertop was being fabricated), the relocation of a dishwasher, and eventual reinstallation of a new sink. The work was done well and I even got a corroded j-pipe replaced free of charge. I have no reservations about recommending or using Cobra Pluming in the future.

I had originally called Cobra for replacement of my bathroom sink drain, but Ernie advised that it was almost the same price to completely replace the whole faucet assembly. We decided to go ahead, and and he replaced everything very quickly and professionally. I was left feeling like we got a whole new faucet for nothing, and he also did some quick work on the toilet for free while he was there. I couldn't imagine better service and value!

Ernie is now my new plumber. He was great: responsive, professional, courteous, pleasant. He did the work quickly and well and advised me about maintaining the system in the future. He was a pleasure to work with and I will be using him as my plumber in the future. I highly recommend him to all Angie's List users.

Excellent. I called Cobra Plumbing for two problems: (1) No water coming out of kitchen faucet and flooding underneath our cabinet. (2) Water running in toilet. He arrived on time, and found the problem with the kitchen faucet which was a broken part on the hose. He actually called the company who manufactured the faucet to inform them as to what the problem was. I received a brand new hose the next day, and Mr. Taylor returned promptly the same day to fix the problem. Problem with toilet was fixed and resolved. He also replaced filters in our water filtration unit. Would highly recommend Cobra Plumbing.

I received service the same day I called in the leaking water heater. Mr. Taylor arrived promptly with the correct water heater (a low-boy) to fit in a very small space in my utility room. He had to move my dryer in order to get through the opening to fit the water heater under my upstairs steps. He worked very hard to get everything to fit and did a very good job. Everything is working great and I have a dry floor and hot water! Today he installed a new kitchen faucet. The old one was rusted on very tightly and took some work to remove. He did a great job. The new faucet is installed and operating as it should. Mr. Taylor is very professional in his work and is obviously very skilled plumber. I would hire him again and be happy to refer friends to him.

I contacted Ernie on a wed or a thursday and made an appointment for him to come out for 2 different jobs at our house (our front spigot wasn't working after the winter and our kitchen faucet needed replacing). He answered the phone himself. He was polite, professional and responsive. We made an appointment for the following Monday, although he DID indicate he was available much sooner for emergencies, but since it wasn't, I went with the Monday appointment. The day of our appointment, he contacted us BEFORE he was due to let us know of a traffic problem (we understood as we have to travel the same stretch he was coming up for our job!) He called a second time before arriving and after apologizing again (totally nice and totally unnecessary, traffic is CRAZY!) he proceeded to find out more of the details of the job. So, when he arrived, he was able to jump right in. He moved from repairing the front spigot to the kitchen sink quickly and efficiently. He was personable, professional and a FANTASTIC find! I cannot wait to recommend him to others! We were VERY happy with his work!

I had decided that I could install a new sink myself, got about halfway through the project and realized that the supply lines I had already wouldn't work. At about noon on a Friday, I called Ernie, and he told me he could be out in a couple hours - at 2:30. At 2:30, he called and told me he was about 5 min away (this for an emergency call!). He went to the kitchen and got to work. He never laughed at me for what I messed up, and even complemented me on some things I had gotten done myself. He installed the new sink hardware, clipped the sink to the counter, and finished installing the garbage disposal. Throughout the process, he taught me more about the kitchen plumbing process, and was unfailingly kind and professional.

We were considering a tankless LPG water heater, but Cobra recommended the high efficiency LPG water heater. The costs were similar and research on Consumer Reports proved that Cobra's recommendation was the better way for us to go. The work was completed on time, neatly, and correctly. We have plenty of hot water for our large household with the new 50 gal storage tank. It's a big improvement over the 80 gal electric water heater that came with the house.

The work was done quickly, on time and for a reasonable price. I will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.

I think he did an excellent job. He was very courteous, understood I was upset about the backup, patient with me, and did a thorough job. I appreciate his conscientiousness and would highly recommend him!

I called Ernie after I'd had a really bad experience with another company. I called the other company to check out my non-functioning gas water heater. They came on a Tuesday, said I needed a new part and asked if I wanted to find it myself??? I said no, I'd prefer they get it and come back and install it. After two days I called to see if the part was in and to reschedule service. I was told at that point that no they didn't have the part and I'd have to call someone else! I called Ernie and he said he'd call me back in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later he called me back, with the part in hand and said he'd meet me at my house in 30 minutes! Thirty minutes later he arrived, and installed the part - but told me there was a problem, the other company had done some irreparable damage to the unit when trying to diagnose the problem. The part he'd purchased and installed (because that's what I was told from the other company that I needed) did not work. We discussed continuing to try to remedy the unit or just installing a new one. After thinking it through, I opted to replace the unit instead of sinking more money in to. We scheduled an appointment for a time that worked for me and Ernie arrived on time, and ready to go. He did an amazing job, quick and tidy, and didn't charge me for the first time he'd come out, the original part he'd purchased or for the increase in the size of the water heater. Honestly, there's not a single plumber out there I'd trust to come do anything out my house except for Cobra plumbing. He's really straightforward, honest, and extremely accommodating.

It went very well. I was reluctant to call since it was during the holidays but Ernie assured me that he was willing to do the job, He arrived on New Year's Eve and got the job done quickly. He and his assistant were very easy to get along with and knew exactly what to do. It was a very pleasant experience. I will have him back again. He will be my plumber from this point on. My house is about 65 years old so plumbing repairs are an ongoing thing. It gives me peace of mind to know that I now have a reliable plumber.

I selected Cobra from Angie's List because of all of the positive reviews. I called Ernie Taylor to give me a quote on a polybutelene pipe replacement. He called me within one half hour after I left a message and came out the next day to give me a quote. He arrived exactly on time and priced the job at 1900.00. ( which is exactly what I paid after it was over). The price was about 1000.00 less than my neighbor who used a "name" plumber who advertises on telelvision quite a bit, and alot less than we expected. The day work was scheduled he and his crew arrived early and started work right away and finished in less than three hours, an hour of which was spent waiting for county inspectors to arrive to approve the completed job, which of course was in fact approved with no issues. Ernie and his crew were respectful of our home and did an exceptionally professional job. We have dealt with many contractors and repairmen over the years, good and bad and Ernie's company is one of the best.

Was on time, polite, courteous and explained what was needed. Cleaned up and took away old parts. Would recommend and hire again.

The plumber was okay and seemed to be competent. There were a couple of things he couldn't do that the handyman was able to do so it is a little concerning if a handyman could do something that a plumber says he can't but he was alright. He has been here twice and fixed one of the problems I think fine. What he did, he did fine but he didn't do everything that I asked him. He said he was unable to do some of the things that I asked him to do that other people were able to do so I don't know if I can give him an A or a B on quality. What he did was an A. The problems I had were to do with valve, fixing a leaking faucet valve and a problem in toilet. The handyman came and did all that very easily. But, he was okay. He did a big job that only a plumber could do and I think he did that well. I think he is competent but I probably won't use him again.

Excellent experience. Ernie provided an extremely competetive quote and replaced the tubing while we were on vacation. He took care of all BGE compliance issues to make sure there would be no complications in the future. He even came back for a second visit to adjust a water pressure issue at no charge. Ernie is my plumber for life!

We scheduled the appointment for the morning of the same day that we called. Ernie showed up on schedule and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was very courteous and professional. We will definitely call him again for plumbing problems.

They were great. They guy came out the next morning after I called them because I had company and wanted the problem fixed quickly. They did a great job and I would use them again.

Ernie could not have been any easier to work with. He was there went he promised. He explained everything he was doing as he did it. I was very pleased with his work and he stood behind it, coming out to tighten a leak when he should have been home with his wife. (The leak was not something he did but rather the fault of the faucet manufacturer.) He cleaned up afterwards and made sure that I was happy with his work. I WILL be having him do more work for me!!!!

The representative did an excellent job. He called me right back. We set up an appointment and he came out. He was very timely and friendly. He got to work quickly. I appreciated the work he did. I was pleased with him.
