I made an appointment for Friday Aug. 3, 2012 at 1PM. Ernie was able to come over earlier at 12:30PM and finished all three toilets, including disposing of the trash and the paperwork by by 1:15PM. He was, professional, pleasant and efficient. I had a followup issue later that afternoon (the chain got hung up on the flapper causing the toilet to flow continuously). I called Cobra Plumbing and they stayed on the phone with me to walk me through the solution. Toilets flush just fine. I would recommend Cobra Plumbing to anyone!

Overall, if I could give higher than an A on the scorecard I would. Ernie and his team were professional, no drama, or hidden charges. Of all the work we've had done on our house thus far, the plumbing work Cobra did for us is by far the best value, most thorough, and highest quality. Cobra was the third plumber to give me an estimate. Ernie's estimate was $1000 below the others. Including a higher quality water heater, and less digging through my front yard to replace the water main. Ernie was very professional and gave a line item of all services in his estimate. He was able to schedule the appointment with only a few days notice. Ernie and his crew arrived on time, completed the work without any issues or drama, and made a big point disrupt as little of the yard as possible.

Ernie and his staff were complete professionals. Not only did they complete the job quickly and efficiently, but they replaced the dirt and mulch in my flower bed! The landscaping looks completely undisturbed! I would definitely recomment Ernie and Cobra Plumbing!

I called Ernie and made an appointment and he was able to come out that week on a day I had off. He arrived on time as scheduled. He quoted me a price of $1150. He had to attach pipes that connected to the house's water line. He was very professional. His work was extremely neat and clean, no mess to clean up afterwards. He explained how everything would work as he went along. He answered all my questions. He recommended the water powered back up vs. a battery back up. Explaining that a battery back up would only be good for about 8 hours. With the water backup I will always have back up. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to others..

See above....The rating is based on the fact that this report was written almost six months after the work. Cobra had indicated I should have no more problems and I did this past June. Unclear, however, whether it was a county problem-right at the connection-or something that Cobra had done?

The plumbing work was very efficient and professional both inside and out. I was very pleased with the ourcome. Only a very small space was dug up in the front yard, and it was filled and the sod replaced. The only drawback to the whole experience was the replaced sod was left sitting very much on top of the ground and my Dog Guard invisible fence was cut which will require an additional expenditure of over $100. I realize the difficulty of avoiding the dog fence wiring, but I did warn the men doing the digging. Nevertheless, I remain very pleased with the plumbing repairs and the pleasant personnel who accomplished it. I have a few other repairs that need attention and plan to call Ernie to fix them.

Ernie is such a professional. He is responsive, punctual, and does terrific work. Today he checked out a leak under kitchen sink and replaced the crap bolts that come with the faucet with brass ones. Last year he replaced my sump pump with an immersible type. I've called Cobra on many occasions over the past couple of years and each time I've been thoroughly pleased with the results.

When I called Ernie, he was able to come within a few days of my phone call. He had to order the backup system but scheduled his return visit very quickly. He explained everything as he went along and also took the time to explain how the backup system worked. He was on time for both of his visits and was very professional. I would certainly recommend him and will call him again for any future plumbing needs.

Our kitchen sink started to back up and drain out very slowly after running the water for a few minutes. I attempted to clear the blockage myself but in the process disturbed an old pipe and poorly constructed trap under the sink which then started to leak. I called Cobra Plumbing and they were able to come out a few days later which was fine since this was not an emergency situation. The day of the appointment Ernie called to let me know he was able to come out a little earlier than expected. He was able to replace the leaking trap quickly and with a better system that includes a clean-out in case the drain needs to be snaked in the future. Unfortunately he did not have the large snake he would typically use to clear a drain with him that day. He did work very hard to clear the drain with the equipment that was available but was not able to clear the blockage. Ernie was apologetic and offered to come back the next morning to complete the work. He arrived the next morning with the additional equipment and quickly cleared the drain (which required running the large snack about 65ft into the pipe). Ernie was very professional and provided the service at what I consider to be a very reasonable price. I would definitely call Cobra Plumbing again and would recommend then to anyone without hesitation.

This experience was great, Ernie was very professional and tolerant of my barking dog. I would definitely use this company again.

We recently had a leaking pipe repaired by another plumber (friend). It didn't work out. I went on Angie's list looking for a local plumber and found Cobra Plumbling Services. The first thing I look at are the reviews and they (he has a lot of A's). I called and left a message on 5-27-12. Really, I didn't expect a phone call back until Tuesday, because of the Holiday. Ernie called me back within 10 minutes and said he could be here about 9:30 Monday morning. He even called Monday morning to let me know that he was running late and would be here at 10 am. He showed up at 10, very nice and professional. He took care of our leaking pipe in about 45 minutes. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for fas courteous and professional service. Even on a Holiday.

The experience was excellent. He phoned prior to his visit. He had an emergency arise at a house located close to my house. He called to explain the issue and stated he would be to my house in an hour. He arrived as promised within the hour. He was efficient with his time, professional and thorough.I will use him again.

I had a water leak under the kitchen sink. I went on Angie's List and was looking for someone in my area that would respond in a timely manner and had received high marks for quality of work, price, etc. I called Cobra Plumbing on Monday morning, and spoke with Ernie (the owner). He came out late Monday afternoon and within seconds told me the problem was my old, rusted-out garbage disposal.He told me he didn't have a garbage disposal with him, but scheduled a return appointment for today, 5/17/2012. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Cobra Plumbing!

I will definitely use their services again. They also answered questions that I had. They were prompt. I would recommend them. They are the best I have ever dealt with. He notified me right away on the time he would arrive.

It was the first time I had used him. He replaced it. He was courteous. He was quick. He responded properly. He showed me the problem. He fixed it in the matter that I really appreciate. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

They were on time and professional. They worked very fast and did a good job. I have nothing bad to say about the service. The price was a little higher than I expected, but then I am not an expert in plumbing. The quality of work was excellent. I would use this provider again.

I contacted Cobra Plumbing via email and phone. Within 15 minutes, I received a call back from Ernie. Ernie is the owner, operator and performs all plumbing jobs. We discussed the replacement of an outdoor spigot and Ernie provide an estimate. I scheduled the job for 3 days later. Ernie showed up early and started promptly. During the change out of the spigots, he answered all of my questions and provided some insight as to the existing spigot install. He changed out the spigot with a new frost few spigot within a short time. I will recommend Cobra Plumbing to my friends and family.

(scroll down for final update) 5/08/2012: I got an answer to my call right away, and that an appointment was made swiftly for the same week for someone to come check things out. Makes me think that if I have an emergency tomorrow, I will be able to count on them. I was given the name of the plumber that was going to come (Ernie) and everything was handled swiftly and with professionalism. I shall post more after he comes on Friday, but so far, it's looking refreshingly good. Update on 5/11/2012: Ernie was here today as planned. He even called and asked if he could be here earlier, which was ok by me. He was very professional and knew exactly the whats and hows of what needed to be done. Because he wanted to be able to take his time in doing the job, he gave me an appointment for Monday (we are Friday), which is quick enough considering it's not an emergency or anything. He also gave me an honest estimate for the work to be performed. I've had enough work done in previous houses to know what to expect, and he was dead on what I thought it would cost me. He also didn't forget to apply the Angie's list discount on the estimate he provided. So far, two thumbs up. I'll update again on Monday after the work is done. FINAL UPDATE on 5/14/2012: Ernie came back yesterday and installed the pull out shower. He also changed the spout and replaced the valve under the tub. It was a really difficult job, with a really tiny access panel, under a vanity cabinet and with no visibility whatsoever as to what he was doing as he was doing it except by feel. He did an absolutely amazing job, without having to damage the cabinet by making a bigger access panel, which would have made his job a lot easier. Instead of that, he had to play contortionist for several hours, and spent a lot more time doing the job than he originally planned to. Despite that, the bill stayed the same as the estimate he gave me. I could not have asked for a better service and I plan to call him again should I need another plumbing job. I absolutely WILL refer him to my friends and neighbors.

I called Cobra Plumbing and spoke to Ernie Taylor and he came right out the next day to give me an estimate. He suggested that we remove the drywall below the toilet flange so he could replace the complete drain joint and make a prpoer repair. He checked the shower valve and suggested that we just buy a replacement cartridge from Home Depot and showed me how to replace it myself but we decided to go ahead and have him take care of it anyway. We set a date and Ernie showed up with a helper and got right to work on the list of projects. They were very careful to protect our property from any damage during their time here. Ernie and Scott worked together on a few of the jobs and independantly on a few but completed everything in a little over three hours. Everything works great, no leaks or problems. I will call them again the next time we need a good plumber !!!

He is great with giving advice and helping with any plumbing issues.

I looked at Angie's List and called Cobra Plumbing. Ernie is the sole owner of the business and he was corteous and professional over the phone. He told me right away that, since my basement is finished, he would probably have to cut a hole in the drywall to have access to the inside plumbing. He also told me upfront that he does not do drywall repairs. I appreciated his honesty. He came on time and was respectful and cheerful. He recommended to install a shutoff valve for the winter and to put an access panel in the hole, in case of future need. Ernie did an excellent job and charged me what he had said in our original phone call. He also honored his Angie's List 10% coupon even before I had a chance to mention it.I will definitely hire Ernie again should I need a plumber.

Two outdoor spigots were leaking, one very difficult to access. Quickly fixed one for no charge as it needed simple tightening and had to completely replace the other due to a cracked pipe. Worked in a small cramped space but expertly fit and replaced and ensuring all connections sound. Fixed showed head arm that had fallen off. Service was quick, explanations and questions allowed me to understand other possible risks in my water supply. Prompt, courteous, professional

We have used Ernie several times and he is always was prompt, efficient and effective. I trust him and value his opinion on plumbing services.

This is a fantastic company. My water heater leaked in the middle of the night and flooded my first floor. They responded right away the next day, replaced my water heater and were very honest. Very friendly, plus they gave an Angies List discount. Would recommend highly and will use for all future plumbing needs.
