It took longer than they initially told me to get to the job, but it was a very busy season with multiple storms in the area. They came out and got the job done with a capable crew. There were a few details that I was not happy with (more to do with the process than the work) and when I expressed my concerns to the company, the owner himself came out to my house to check everything and more than made up for anything I was dissatisfied with. After that was settled, Julie called me about my insurance claim and told me that what the insurance company had put together was inadequate and that we were owed more than they were planning to pay for the work they did. She went way above and beyond helping me work with the insurance company and get the compensation we were owed for the work. I would never have known how to navigate those technical details without her, and she did a lot of work that she really did not have to do. Very impressed with the owners' sincerity, kindness and professionalism.

We were very pleased with them from beginning to end. They kept us posted on every step of the process. Cleaned up very well, quick, efficient and got a 50 year warranty with the deal. We would recommend them to anyone.

The workers were very professional in demeanor. They took care in doing the removal and replacement. They cleaned up any debris that happened to hit the yard. I might add that there was little to clean up since a portable trash container was put on site for the old materials to be placed in as they were removed. The workers were efficient and the work was completed in about 5 hours, or in one day. My husband and I are completely happy with the work. Our home looks like it is almost brand new. We would recommend DryTech to all our friends and relatives.

Terry arrived promptly to give us the estimate for the work. He measured the roof, went up and inspected the conditions, and also went into our attic to view the roof from the underside. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all of the options to us about the different materials available, what it meant for the company (Dry Tech) to be Master Elite certified by GAF and the benefits to us in terms of materials, workmanship, and warranty. He broke down the pricing and explained when various payments would be due. Terry later answered our additional phone calls and questions within minutes! We had great confidence in him and the company and chose them from among the 6 estimates we had done. The job was planned for two days, but expected that it might be completed in one long day. After we made the initial deposit the work was scheduled and the materials ordered. On the morning of July 2nd, the dumpster arrived and was placed in the driveway and the materials were delivered. The workmen arrived about 7:30 am and began the tear off. When they were replacing some of the plywood, Terry arrived and consulted with them and it was found that more of the plywood needed to be replaced (about three times the amount originally expected) when water damage and separation was found after the tear off. All materials had to be hand carried to the roof due to overhead power lines and trees. Once the wood was replaced, a strip was cut out of the wood along the front and back for the smart vent and the installation of the new roof began. The drip edge, underlayment and the ice and water shield were installed and the shingling began. The "Smart Vent" was put in place as the shingles went on, as was the needed flashing. Due to the large number of sheets of plywood that needed to be replaced and the time and labor involved, it was necessary for the workmen to return the following day to finish. This had been allowed for in the original plans. Any areas not fully shingled by the first evening were covered with tarps and protected from the elements. (It did not rain overnight in any case.) Terry had gone to other job sites during the day but was available by phone and returned before the end of the day. Both he and his foreman were always ready to answer any of our questions and explain what was going on at various stages. The workmen returned the second morning, again around 7:30, and got straight to work. Terry came to the job site again to bring additional materials and check on things. Once the shingles were all in place, the ridge vent was installed. Clean up proceeded. All pieces of shingle, underlayment, ice and water shield, paper etc were removed and placed in the dumpster and the gutters were cleared of all debris. The workmen used large powerful magnets to sweep the yard repeatedly for any nails etc. and packed up their equipment and unused items. We were pleased with the clean up and did not find anything out of place. We were given a stack of shingles to keep against any future need also. The job was finished by early afternoon. I spoke with Terry by phone and he told me that the dumpster pick up would be done first thing on the morning of July 5th, as the dumpster company had released their employees for the 4th of July holiday on the afternoon of July 3rd, before our job was complete. As scheduled, the dumpster was removed on the morning of the 5th.

The narrative above ought to speak for itself. I have never worked with a faster or more professional contractor and crew. I live with trees, and have always feared an event like this. But now I know who to call if ever it should happen again. I cannot think of a single thing I would do to improve Dry Tech's performance. They were perfect. That storm wrecked our roof in just a few minutes. Andy's crew of 4 worked that first 12 hours like demons. They were something to behold. By mid-morning the next day, we had a completely new roof that looked and performed better than before. From shattered roof and giant branches and blue tarps, to a new and improved roof ... in 4 days. Wow.

Andy did a thorough job of going over my property, including looking in the attic, to determine what he believed needed to be replaced. He came up with an estimate which, compared with two other companies, was pretty high. I pointed out the price difference and he started into a long explanation about something they don't offer everyone, called a Target Program. You have to agree to have their sign in your yard for 30 days, not tell your neighbors the wonderful low low price they gave you, and of course to sign right then and there. There was another provision but I forget what it was. I said I wasn't ready to sign so suddenly he was able to wait until the following Monday after I would have gotten my last estimate. Today is Tuesday and I came home to a voicemail from Andy with yet another fantastic offer. They are doing a big job in Baltimore and he is trying to get a few residential customers 'bundled in' with the ordering in order to save us money. But I must sign as soon as possible in order to get in on the deal. In my world, if you can give me a good price, give me a good price. Don't play games. It's dishonest and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like many home owners, I have been taken advantage of too many times and I don't take kindly to these kinds of manipulative tactics. I am very surprised Desert Dry is using these sales techniques. I called them because of their high ratings. I had gotten an estimate from them a year ago and nothing like this happened. Desert Dry, if you are reading this, I hope you stop these obnoxious sales tactics. For such a successful company, you don't have to do such things.

Overall, this company exhibited a level of professionalism and pride in their work that is getting hard to find these days. The estimator took care to measure each individual window, accounting for the slight variations in window size.When the installer came to my home, he was careful to protect the home from damage. He perfomed an excellent installation of nine windows. During the installation, he took the time to explain the process, and was considerate of our property. I was impressed with his attention to detail, and took a lot of time to properly caulk all the windows. I was especially impressed with the clean-up after the job. Removal of the old windows generated a lot of debris, including small pieces of wood that fell into the mulched plant beds below the windows. The installer carefully removed all of the debris. The estimator arrived on time for the appointment; the installer arrived 30 minutes later than scheduled, but that was the only negative element of the experience.

The man who came to do the estimate was not a salesman. He was a man who stood behind his work. He felt like a real person and he went over everything that he was going to do and how he would be able to help me. He really knew what he was talking about. They were on time and told me when they would be there.

My experience with this company was very good. They were very helpful and upfront about the costs of replacing my roof, so there would be no hidden fees. When they came to do an estimate they actually went up into the attic to see if there was any damaged plywood. While other companies just looked at the roof from the outside. The DryTech representatives were very knowledgeable and worked with me to get a fair price for the amount of work I needed. On the day of the actual roof installation, I didn't need to be there. They left the yard and surrounding area so clean, I couldn't even tell they had been there. EXCELLENT WORK!!!

Tried to arrange an estimate for a roof job, but they were very slow to respond. By the time they did respond, we had already lined up several other roofers who were more responsive.

I had great experience with DryTech regarding price, quality of work and communication. In my opinion, this company has a very organized structure, therefore the client would always be informed at every stage, from getting quote, scheduling, installing to post-installation care. The crew had replaced the roof in one day. They also installed my new solar attic fan for no additional cost. In the past, my 2nd floor was very hot, but the new roof and the fan have kept my house, especially the 2nd floor cool this summer. The crew was professional, hard working and friendly. I highly recommend DryTech for roof service.

The salesman came out immediately and gave us an estimate that was reasonable compared to other estimates. They did take several months to begin the project which was fine since we were not in a hurry. They worked one full day and then returned the next day to clean up and finish. There were a couple of things that were damaged during the job but once they were identified they were more than repaired. I am very satisfied with the professionalism of the sales staff and how they made sure we were satisfied with the job. I would definitely recommend them.

They did a pretty good job with no problems. They came when they said they wanted to do it. I think the job was a little harder than they thought it would be because it had some valleys in it. So they stuck here one night to make sure it wasn't leaking until it got dark and then came back to finish the next day. They were pretty good. The workers cleaned up and everything; not a problem. Their price was a little higher than their competitors but their competitors never showed up. I will use them again in the future.

It went great. The estimator showed up on time and die a complete roof inspection by climbing up on the roof and by going into the attic to look at the roof sheathing. The job was scheduled and was actually completed a few weeks early because a scheduling prblem on another job left a crew available in my area. The work was done in one day and they mess was cleand up ond in the dumpster when I got home. The new roof looks great.

When the shingles dropped on my car, there were about 20 scratches on the trunk of my car. Most of the workers did not speak any English. The worker who was driving the truck spoke a little English, they told me that he would have his boss call me in 5 days. I have never heard from them. I called them and set up an appointment for them to come out and do an estimate. I showed the contractor, Andy, and I showed him pictures of the back of my car. He told me he would talk to his boss Terry Clara and get back with me. I talked with Terry, finally, and he told me he would not pay for any of the damages to the car. He said he did not believe that he had to pay because they were not working on my roof. He then hung up the phone. I called them back and told them I was going to file a negative report on Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau and he never called me back.

The DriTech work crew arriived within three minutes of the scheduled start time on the appointed day. They wasted no time getting on the roof and starting to strip off shingles. A short time later, a dumpster arrived to receive the stripping debris, Not long after that, a truck arrived with the shingles, underlayment, ice barrier, and other supplies. A compressor and air lines were made ready and a backup compressor was also made available, just in case. The crew's work effort was impressive; two men of the four-man crew had been with the company for eight years and displayed comenserate levels of skill and speed. The entire roof was covered in a single day and the finishing touches were completed within two hours on the scond day. Amazingly, finishing touches included painting metal parts to match the color of the shingles. Crew members performed a thorough cleanup around the house, which included picking up nails and other metalic parts with a four-foot magnet. In a very short time our house and yard looked like new. Finally, the supervisor arrived to inspect the quality of work and thoroughness of the cleanup. He even used a magnetic wand to probe into corners where the large magnetic devise might have missed some. He then sat down with us and confirmed completion of each contract item and the correctness of the billing. I can state, without reservation, that DriTech's roofing job was the best quality work that has ever been performed on our house.

I knew I needed a new roof and hoped to hold off for a few more months but when a two day deluge in March revealed a couple leaks I phoned three companies for estimates on a roof replacement. Even with the recent storms, DryTech returned my phone call within a few hours and was able to send someone out for a look the next afternoon. Despite my wariness at signing up with one company before hearing back from any others, DryTech made a strong case and I was especially impressed with their thorough explanation of the overall process, what costs are factored into the "per square" cost and especially seeing other company's quotes and doing the math to show that DryTech's prices are definitely in line with other local companies. I was glad I did sign on that day, as I didn't receive a call back from one of the other companies at all and only a bottom-line quote by mail two weeks later from another. Yes, there is a bit of "sell", the company does want your business, but I didn't feel pressured or harassed at all. My roof was installed in one day (small house) within the estimated time frame of 2-3 weeks and I received a follow-up call from the supervisor to be sure the clean-up was as I had expected. I would definitely recommend DryTech and have let my neighborhood association know about my experience too, as there are frequently others in the area looking for plumbing, roofing, landscape etc references.

DryTech Roofing did a good professional job but the price was high.

My roof was so old the moss and lichen growing on it may have been the only things holding it together. I contracted with the company to install a new roof, but due to weather problems there were some delays. Tropical Storm Nicole was one of the weather systems that intervened, and caused water damage in almost all of the rooms in my house right before the new roof installation. Of course. When the weather finally cooperated, the job was completed in less than two days. There were some nails and other debris I needed to clean up, but nothing really major. The company was not the cheapest or the most expensive, but they were the only company of the six or seven I contacted that responded and then pursued the job- two other companies submitted quotes, and one was going to follow up with a written quote, but I never heard anything further from that one. And the roof looks great, so I'd use this company again. Just wish I'd done it before hurricane season.

We are very pleased with the job that was done by DryTech Roofing. The crew completed the job from start to finish in three days and never left the job until it was done. One thing I was really pleased with is that they never stripped off more of the old roofing than they could completely re-cover in the same day, so the bare roof sheathing was never left uncovered over night and exposed to the weather. The crew made every effort to keep the jobsite clean while they worked and also completely cleaned up their equipment and tools at the end of each day leaving the yard neat and orderly. The completed roof looks great and completely transformed the look of our house.

Overall job went great! The contract was very straightforward and simple to understand, the workmen showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. Also, they were conscientious about taking care not to destroy nearby landscaping. We are very pleased with both the workmanship and the price.
