Perfect, the tech was very professional, took the time to explain the way the system worked since we were not familiar with the system.

Rich has been my heating and cooling guy for four years. I was traveling and my wife called to let me know that our water heater had just failed and there was water leaking all over our basement. It was 9:00 at night. I called Rich and he picked up within two rings, immediately told me what I needed to tell her to do, and made arrangements to replace the water heater by mid-day the next day. I can't say enough great things about Rich and his company. The gentleman who showed up (not Rich) was right on time and completely professional throughout. I highly recommend this company.

They performed a high-quality installation over several days. Everyone was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The installation included work in the attic and basement, as well as outside. No disruption to us. It was a pleasure to have them in the house - always friendly.

It is very difficult to find a company to service oil fired heating and hot water equipment without having to start a full service contract to buy oil. I called several companies and never got a call back. One company that did answer the phone, gave me a price of $700 to perform the service for both. I understand oil is messy which is why most companies don't want to deal with it. I was tempted to just start a full service contract because I wouldn't find any one. I am getting prices on other things around my house and (3) other companies recommended Palmieri Mechanical. I called and Rich answered my call. Rich was able to send out his guy Mike the same day to perform the service which worked out great. Mike took his time and was very thorough with the cleaning/service. He did not rush through it like some other companies do. He answered all of my questions. He did a very good job cleaning up once he was finished. He even used mastic to seal around where the vent pipes go into the chimney. The last service company didn't do that so I had to do it. The receipt he left was very detailed and easy to read. They even left the print out from the efficiency test. Will definitely use them going forward for all maintenance and service needs.

Rich has done it again. He came in first thing in the morning and installed a new indirect water heater. We'd been suffering inconsistent water temps with our previous system which took hot water directly from our boiler. The system that Rich has installed has provided us with storage for hot water and has managed to save us energy in the process of providing plenty of piping hot water. I can't thank him enough: he's our go-to heating guy.

This was my first attempt in finishing a basement. I had a contractor working on the framing, but needed someone to install the heating, A/C, and air ventilation system. I had a few people come out and give me their opinion and give me a quote... and they were all over the place. Then i had Rich come over; and he was clearly a god send!! He was honest about what would work and what wouldn't; and was the first one to ask me what my budget was. I gave him my budget and he came back to me with my options. I hired Rich to the basement and he took care of all the permits required by the town. He finished the job in a timely manner and always showed up on time. The basement unit was installed 2 years ago; but i have gotten in touch with Rich concerning other issues in the house and he has always been nothing but helpful. I highly recommend Rich to anyone looking for a respectful, honest and efficient person to help them with their projects/repairs.

Rich Palmieri provided all the necessary equipment, removed the old equipment, and installed and tested everything. He was cheaper than many quotes and worked alongside my plumber. Overall an excellent job.

I can't say enough good things about Rich and his team. His sticker was on the boiler in the home that my wife and I just purchased and I called him to ask him to come by and walk me through the system. He came over several days later and spent well over an hour talking to me about how the system worked, and then offered to scope out a major overhaul. We have an old house with a fieldstone foundation which is constantly leaking warm air. The original plumbing for all of the radiators involved 2.5and quot;-3and quot; steel piping that ran from one radiator to the next, so we were paying a lot of money to heat our basement, and couldn't service any of the radiators individually, and we had some that never got warm due to the layout. Rich came up with a plan that added a zone to the house, and placed each radiator on its own (very small) piping resulting in an ability to control the flow of water to every radiator in the house. The upgrade is likely to save us at least 35% of our oil bill because we're no longer heating the basement before the rest of the house. Plus, the new manifold looks REALLY cool. Rich's team was in and out in 2.5 days (he'd originally spec'd it out for three), and the house has never felt warmer. He also managed to heat a bedroom addition that never got hot in the previous configuration, saving us electricity as well since we're not running space heaters anymore. Rich was available by phone or text as I had questions going over the proposal, and he even came over on a Saturday to walk my wife through the upgrade. I couldn't be more pleased. He's the consummate professional.

I called Rich when I had a leak with the air handler in my attic. He came over that day, diagnosed the problem and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. I called him a second time when my A/C unit stopped spinning. He answered the phone on vacation but had his employee here the next day to fix the problem. I was very satisfied with him and will happily refer people to him in the future

Rich arrived (on time) to review the job. We wanted to replace our old oil fired boiler, oil tank and add some radiant under floor heating in a bathroom and in our kitchen. I had been studying boilers and installation possibilities for about 2 years prior to the decision to go forward with the project. I had many questions about how certain things would be done and specific details. Probably much more than the typical customer. Rich never hesitated or rushed through the answers. He is a very friendly, well informed, professional gentleman. He answered all of my questions completely and satisfactorily. He quoted the job for just the boiler and a second quote for the radiant. I found his price to be about 20% more than the absolute least expensive pricing that I'd heard about or thought I could get, but the quality of his workmanship, reputation and his informative and non rushed manner all weighed our decision to go with him for the job. We decided to do all the work that we had discussed. Given that it was the end of December we couldn't be without heat for very long, but it wasn't a problem at all. Rich started at about 8AM on the day planned and he finished a little after 6 PM having completely removed the old boiler, rearranged the old plumbing, installed the new boiler, hot water tank and installed a beautiful new zone manifold all very clean and neat in one day. On additional days he installed the under floor radiant tubing for a bathroom and our kitchen (which worked out very well, both rooms are very comfortable). He also supervised the removal of my old oil tank, the transfer of oil to the new tank and took care of getting the permits needed and arranging the inspection. All in all, I think the whole job took him about 26 hours or so to complete which were spread out over about 4 days. I had a few questions after the installation and Rich always answered my call or got back to me very quickly. We are very satisfied with the quality of workmanship and the quality of the products installed. It was a pleasure doing business with Rich. I absolutely recommend him as an honest, hardworking businessman that will give you great value for your money!!!!

We called in Rich from a recommendation, our upstairs furnace had several visits form other HVAC companies but nobody could fix it. Rich found the problem in 5 minutes. I had wanted to replace the basement boiler and had Rich look at it as well. His quote was very reasonable so we committed. Rich's work is impeccable and he went beyond what we asked for with the same price. When we replace the upstairs furnace we will definitely have him back.
