+ -1 moreI don’t think he was licensed so I chose to go with someone else. I don’t think he was insured or something. He didn’t come across as highly professional. He is just kind of rude actually. The price was good.
Description of Work: P M Ferris Land Clearing gave me an estimate to cut down a couple of trees.

+ -1 moreWe had a hiccup at the start because the wet snow set in just before our scheduled date and Phil Ferris advised against pulliing the heavy equipment on the lawn in wet conditions. After nearly a year I called back and he honored the prior estimate (and was happy to add some additional work at a reasonable price). Appointments were all on time, work was done cleanly and quickly, and he checked with me to make certain I was satisfied before moving his equipment. We couldn't be happier and Phil's card is on our refrigerator.
Description of Work: When a very large dead tree needed to be removed I collected estimates from the big tree-removal/landscapers in the area, then I decided to call Phil Ferris who we buy firewood from. His price to remove three trees and do substantial trimming and brush cleaning was on par or less than others. We've had Phil Ferris deliver our annual firewood for several years. Always prompt, good product, and reasonably priced for home delivery.
