I called American Chem Dry and was given an appointment within a few days. The window was from 12:00pm-3:00pm, and the serviceman (Patrick) showed up a little after 1:00. He was done by 3:00, and did not require much oversight. He moved furniture around when it was reasonable to do so, but the most important thing to me was to get the obvious soil out of the high-travel areas, and he did that. It took a few hours to dry, and the carpeting looks better than it has in years. There was some residue on my driveway afterward; I assume their vacuum hose discharges outside (I didn't go out to see this in person while he was cleaning), but the first rain washed a lot of that away, so it doesn't seem to be a concern. Patrick was very personable and seemed like a guy that you could trust to be in your house. I will use American Chem Dry again.

WOW. I am so impressed with the work completed today. I had some tough stained areas that a regular store-bought carpet cleaner was never able to get out. I had a regular cleaning and sanitation done. The work was done by a father and son team. They were so polite and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I also appreciate that there is no overpowering scent of chemicals after the cleaning.

I also aske h im to clean t he carpeting on the stairs. I left him with my husband while I went shopping. He sanitized and applied a stain fighter. Upon my return I noticed a pleasant smell . The stains were pretty much gone in the bedroom. The stair carpeting looked new. We are very satisfied with this company's workmanship. Reasonable price ,too.

They were excellent and I work with them every 6 months. The carpets dry in a matter of 3 months and they don't use water; they use chemicals that dry. It is all very efficient and the people that do it are wonderful. It is a family owned operation and is just great. I will use them again in the future.

They are always very prompt, polite, and they always do a good job. The couch looks remarkable!

2 young men showed up. They were quick, polite and efficient. I did not need to go over anything with them. I didn't specifically point out the stains, but luckily, I didn't need to. The stains and carpet were nicely cleaned. I was worried that the stains would come back, but a month later, they haven't.

I have been using this company since March of 1998; 12 years! Not only do I get quality cleaning, I can fully count on them to be reliable, professional and very friendly. The cleaning process they use dries relatively quickly. They also do area rugs and a lot of these companies do not. They must be great to work for also because for 12 years I talk to the same office staff and I can count on the same guy to come to do the work.

They contacted me in advance of the prescheduled date, were very flexible about my rescheduling with them. The man came on time, we talked about precisely what he was going to go. He answered my questions. He did the job quickly and with a minimum of disruption to me. He seemed to do a good job. He gave me the bill, I paid him with a check, and he left. It took less than 2 hours.

The serviceman was very helpful. He was very thorough. They were on time and they got it done in a very timely manner. They were very respectful about being inside my house.

We had scheduled last spring. They sent me a reminder postcard, and I called to confirm the time and date. I had to go out during part of the period when they might come, so I called the office. They said to leave them a note. I left a note telling them the key was hidden and where to find it. When I returned, Bob had completed the office and waiting room and was working on the two area rugs. At the end, he pointed out a stain on one of the area rugs. He left all furniture under the carpets on plastic boosters to allow the carpets to dry. I gave him a check when he was through and we rescheduled for next spring.

I was actually pretty pleased with the way my carpets turned out. I can say that they turned out looking a whole lot better than I would have thought they would originally. I mean, I did go with the special additional treatments they will do for you for a few extra dollars when they come, so I don't know if that made the difference or they're just really good at what they do. Either way, I'd use them again.

I was happy because I had some spots on my carpeting that had been left from my cat. Someone told me that rather than replacing that carpeting, I should try having this company come and clean it. I was surprised to find that their cleaning did remove the spots, which saved me from having to go and get new carpeting put down in those rooms. That would have cost me a lot more. They also cleaned two small throw rugs as well and didn't charge me any money for them. They just did it to be nice. I fully plan to use them again in the future and I may even have them come out once a year to do carpet cleaning for me from now on.

I called another company before, but American Chem Dry could do it faster and cheaper. I liked them because they did what they said they would for the price. The date and time of pick up and delivery were also on target with what they said.

Lori was wonderful on the phone - scheduled pickup and delivery which was adhered to perfectly. Rugs look (and smell) great.

The woman who answered the phone was very nice. She quoted me $75 for the cleaning and said they could do the work on Thursday. I found someone else who could do same day service so I went with them instead.

Excellent service. They arrived on time, and were very professional. They could not get water stains out of the carpet, but they explained why.

BECAUSE WE CLEANED ALL THE CARPETS BEFORE WE MOVED IN OUR FURNITURE, WE RECEIVED A 20% DISCOUNT, WHICH HELPED A LOT BECAUSE IT WAS PRETTY EXPENSIVE. BECAUSE OF THE DISCOUNT, WE GAVE THEM A ''B'' FOR PRICE INSTEAD OF A ''C''. (IF YOU HAVE FURNITURE IN YOUR HOUSE BUT WANT TO CLEAN THE CARPETS, YOU CAN FIND A COUPON FOR A DISCOUNT IN THOSE VALUE PAKS THEY MAIL TO HOUSES) THE OFFICE WAS REALLY GOOD TOO. THEY CALLED A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE TO CONFIRM THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE HERE.
