The service was incredible prompt, he was here in a heartbeat. He did the work expeditiously, he cleaned up after himself, went above and beyond, he didn't need to find a tank for me but he did, he explained and showed me what the problem was, his prices were reasonable, he came out sooner than other people were going to, and he was a really nice guy. He was very professional but also a very nice person.
Description of Work: He replaced a pressure tank for my well pump.

Terrible experience. He did illegal work which could not pass inspection and he did not get the required permits. The job got shut down by the building inspector and I had to rip out a lot of his work and hire a new plumber to fix it. In the process of trying to resolve the issue with him, he repeatedly made promises to fix things or to provide parts or to refund money, none of which he ever did (i.e. he lied). I had to hire a lawyer and threaten to sue him to get even a partial refund. He also lied to the plumbing inspector and claimed I had "forced" him to work without a permit when in fact I was completely unaware he hadn't gotten the required permits. He sold me things I didn't need by telling me in order to have a washing machine in the basement I needed to also install a sink with a pump and have the washing machine drain into the sink. In fact, the washing machine could have pumped directly into the sewer without going through a sink first. His advice was bad when he convinced me to remove a tub from a bathroom and instead put in a shower. He claimed that would make the room seem bigger but it did not. Also, the shower he used was so small it was not even legal and could not pass inspection. I had to rip it out and go back to tub. Besides being illegal, it was also too small to use it comfortably -- it was like standing in a phone booth where you couldn't even bend over. Instead of venting his plumbing properly, he used spring loaded internal vents which are completely illegal for that purpose because they're known to allow poisonous sewer gases to escape into the house. It was a very bad experience but the lying at the end was the final straw. At one point he promised to provide new parts for a new plumber to fix his work. So I paid a new plumber to make a parts list and delivered it to him but he never provided the parts. So I had wasted money paying for a list to be made and the new plumber wasn't happy either because he would have lost his markup on the parts.
Description of Work: Installed a toilet, a bathroom sink, a shower, a kitchen sink, and a basement sink with a pump.
