+ -1 moreI was impressed with the service. He was able to prune the tree while we were at work. When we showed up I was surprised at how much nicer the tree looked.
Description of Work: Stephen came to give me an estimate to remove an old tree that had been damaged during the previous winter. I also had some questions about some other trees on our property. He walked around with me and let me ask all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great information. He also saved me money because he said the tree didn't have to come down, with a good pruning and some other steps we could save it. I am glad we did, it would have cost a lot of money to replace it and it would have cost more to have it removed than it did to prune it.

+ -1 moreHe gave me a quote and when he sent the bill he took off $150 off of his quote. I was very impressed that he did that. He is very reasonable with his prices and very competent. His quote was much less than the other two quotes we got for the same job. He cleans up after himself when he is finished. He is licensed and very professional. When he sent his quote he had a little apology because of the delay. He was extremely busy due to the ice storm. He is certified and a member of the National Arbor Association. He has insurance and will give documentation if someone asks for it.
Description of Work: Stephen J. Swedish Tree Service took care of a downed tree after the ice storm. He cut large wood and left it on site for us to use later for firewood and removed all brush.
