Shamrock Chimney

My appointment was rescheduled two times. Was promised one price and paid double. The tech who worked on the chimney was helpful and explained what had happened, but They did not go up to the roof so I am not sure if there is something else wrong. Also felt they were trying to up sale more services.

We requested a free estimate. Cory provided a detailed explanation of the work to be done (with photos) and the price. He let us know they could do the job on the spot, contact them later or not at all. We opted to have the job completed immediately at what we thought was a reasonable cost. That consisted of a new damper, repairing a cracked crown, replacing some missing bricks and flashing. The work was complete within a couple of hours and we are satisfied with the results.

The crew came on time, assessed my chimney situation and found time that day to repoin/mortar most of the bricks, install cap and stainless steel liner. Joe M, a Marine Veteran, was very courteous and personable throughout our interactions and showed me photos of work before and after the project.. I would recommend the Shamrock again.

Would not recommend, workmanship was hurriedly and just passable grade.

Joseph from Shamrock in Worcester, MA came on an emergency call, as we had carbon monoxide build-up due to a blocked chimney. He and his partner were professional, thorough, prompt, and knowledgeable. They cleaned up carefully. I would definitely hire them again.

Very exact and to getting to the point about the problems at hand.

Back this August of 2019 i had a liner installed with a cap. Last night it blew off. Today I left a message to have some one replace and securly anchor to chimney. I will give 5 stars if they reply and arrange for this problem. I don't want water going down the liner in the wall of my cracked chimney either.

Arrive to quote late in the afternoon. Offered a price reduction if we would start then. It went well after dark and I had to jury rig a couple of house lamps outside to see. We missed a couple of sport on a stone chimney, but the guys were very pleasant and did a pretty good job considering.

We hired Shamrock to insert a stainless steel liner in a 100+ year old unloved chimney. What might have been an easy installation turned out to be an huge challenge because of twists and restrictions. Joe D our tech Indian and his assistant were tenacious an unyielding in their efforts to make a full installation. With great effort they succeeded much to our satisfaction. Our chimney can now serve well do another 100+ years.

I hired Shamrock Chimney to clean the chimney, they came out said that I needed to re-point the chimney, install a new stainless steel cap, re cement crown and repair flashing, they did that on 10/28/2020, they came back to finish, added more cement and smeared black tar everywhere along the roof line, the roof line is a mess, cement running down the bricks and did not clean up their mess, it is very unprofessional looking
