Cut off damaged flue pipe and replaced it with cement. Installed a rubber cement flashing between brick and roof. 2 men spent one hour. $1500.

Shamrock chimney is the best out there they really care for the customers. They went above and beyond to help me out. I will be using them every year to clean my chimney. Quality workers and greatest pricking . I had first called paramont chimney who came said they cleaned my chimney gave an outrages estimate on my chimney work which I need a pipe to be put in . Well shamrock game two days later and discovered they had not cleaned my chimney so shamrock did because they felt bad and said how bad my chimney was. I've been trying for four days to get a detailed receipt of what was done and the technician's promise to send me photos of the finished work. I could not be there when the work was done, relying on what the "technician" said he'd do and my neighbor's observations, My neighbor says the guy worked alone and spent all of two hours on the chimney. So, maybe $100 in materials and $1000 an hour for labor? Anxiously awaiting the photos and detailed receipt. Also, it doesn't seem like the guy pulled a permit.

Two men came ,they inspected and cleaned the chimney replaced the damper showed me how to use it, and repaired the base of the chimney after inspecting it and explaining why it needed to be done.They were quick, polite and answered all my questions.

I hired them to repoint the base of my chimney. The chimney is 20 inches by 17 inches, and the guy who showed up repointed 8 courses (rows) of brick. I measured this to be about 10-12 square feet. At say $25 per square foot and maybe $400 for the masonâ s time, I was expecting to pay around $600-700 for the work. He looked at it and gave an estimate of $1500 for repointing and $1000 if I chose to do stuccato instead. I didnâ t really think about it and agreed to repoint it same day. Itâ s not a huge financial issue for me but it felt expensive. I did try to negotiate an itemized bill (including materials and hours) but he said he doesnâ t do that, it has to be 15, you pay for the craft, etc. I guess thatâ s true, but I felt a little overcharged. But I went with it. The work itself is well done. I have not had it evaluated by a second person. It looks fine / clean and I did not notice any inadvertent damage. He was professional, hung up plastic while doing the grinding, and did not leave a mess. The duration of the job was from about 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. It did take them two reschedulings to arrive. This delayed it 2 days. Not a big deal for me but it may be for others. Iâ m not sure if this is because they overschedule but I see other reviews complaining about it. I was offered a 5% discount by text but I forgot to invoke it. Overall decent, but if I could turn back time, I would seek a second quote from another mason before going with this company, to make sure Iâ m not being overcharged.

Poor customer service. They cancelled on me after service window closed. They rescheduled me then did not show that day despite tell me they where on the way

After suggesting that they were quickly available to clean a chimney, they postponed service *five times* over the next two weeks. The one time someone arrived was 3 hours late after a 3-hour block and he did not have the equipment to clean the chimney. Unprofessional and unreliable.

A few canceled appointments due to inclement weather or other issues. Otherwise good service.

They did a great job. Very professional. Took pictures to show actually what it looks like.

Clearly explained what they observed during their inspection & made a number of recommendations for future projects.

The Chris's were great - really informative and helped.me think through future projects with no pressure.

Repeatedly called me until I called them back to schedule an estimate. 5 times in under 2 hours. Have now canceled and rescheduled 3 times in 2 weeks. If they cannot make their appointment to do the estimate, how can I trust them to do the job. Their response to my question of reliability was they ran into problems on the jobs they were in and they would give me 5% off the estimate. With a 3 hour window and multiple branch locations around me, the excuse does not sit well. And to try to appease me with a discount, a weak one at that just seems like pandering to me. Also, their number comes up as a spam call. Not sure what that is about.

Needed some work on chimney because some water was getting into the cellar . Price seemed high.

I would definitely hire them again. He was very professional, thorough, and affirmative.
